We are going to archive this one as it keeps disappearing. Many thanks to the cachet’s that have taken the time to look.
Will replace this one AGAIN. If it is wrecked again we will have to archive it. This will be its fourth move and replacement. We will endeavour to replace it in the next few days. Will notify when completed.
In Roma for a few days, so today we dedicated to geocaching - this was our guide, basing our route on "next closest". Our starting point was the information centre - for obvious reasons
Continuing our walk around this pretty park, we were able to find the cache, sit down to make the log, and return the hide. thanks jpgordo

What a lovely dam/park... thank you Rhys. Found while out and about in Roma with FreedomFinder. TFTC
Staying in Roma for a few days and procrastinating about returning home as it is so cold.
Found and signed a few caches around town.
This was one of them.

Out and about in the camper van heading west geocaching.
I camped over night at Chinchilla weir.
The van got parked about as close as you can park to this one.
A quick find once at GZ. [^] I'll be back tomorrow to find the one around the other side of the lake.
Thanks for the cache.

Mrs RoddyC and I were out in the Barcaldine Region for a week, in the company of youngoldfella, planning for the ACGM next year. Today we are on our extended way home after overnighting in Quilpie.
Missed the cache in the garden bed last visit two years ago so it is good to grab this replacement cache!

Detour around Australia- family of 6 in a campertrailer for 6 months!
Who would of thought there would be such a big and beautiful nature reserve in Roma? After walking around hospital hill, we continued with another walk around the lake here! Good way to wear out the kids energy!
Thanks for the cache as we explore Roma!

Tftc a warm walk on a winters day. Thank you to the geocachers who have given us fun on our northern holiday. Log in good order
Injune - Roma
A morning on the road stopping to find the caches as we went.
We then set up camp at the gun club. Time to revisit 2 caches that we had DNFs on previous.
This was missing last time we stopped here, an easy find today.
Thanks for placing this cache jpgordo

Had a great time at the Alice Mega and now on the homeward stretch so still looking for caches along the way. Coongoola may sign small log sheets as CG if there's not much room.
Mrs Coongoola found this one while Mr Coongoola watched the Ducks and other water birds. What a lovely lake for the community.
Thanks for the cache jpgordo.

Out with Geopartner to explore Roma and surrounds.
Headed to this one next.
Arrived at GZ and Geopartner said that he used to cut the grass on the sportsground for the school.
He did not realise there was a lake there as it was all covered in bush.
I headed to the cache while he took a panoramic view of the lake.
Soon found the cache and signed the log.
Returned to where I found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks jpgordo All good with this cache

Found at 1139. Enjoying our first stop at Roma on our trip to the Red Centre Experience with a 2 day break here. Grabbing a few smileys while we are here. A third cache I had to make a return trip because there were muggles in the area. It seem like the local hobby in Roma is to stand around cache all day. TFTC.
Our 500th cache.
Such a nice day and peaceful lake to look over.
Thanks for the cache, we will remember this one.

Travelling around Australia and currently visiting outback Queensland.
Moving faster than normal for us. After overnighting in Augathella we headed over to find this cache before leaving town.
Couple of quick or not so quick stops and we were on our way to Yuleba overnight.
quick stop here to stretch our legs. Nice to see you still placing caches after our visit in 2015

Well we did walk to this one from Whip St, read a few signs, talked to a young lady picking up rubbish and found the readily visible container, sat and logged, watched the pelican, took a circuitous route back to the car, past one I'd found a day or so ago..
We have replaced this cache AGAIN - if it is destroyed again we will archive it. Many thanks for the cacher's that have advised us that it was missing.

Had a good look around but no luck here for us today.
After a few DNFs could the CO please check this one.
Thanks

Spent quite a bit of time here we did see that some branches has been cut so wondered if it has gone
Searched around even weeded the ground inside looking for it, but all to avail. For a 1/1 we gave it a 3/2 treatment and still no joy.
Our only DNF for the day. Did sit in the van for a long time before going to search watching the very strange actions of a muggle. She kept scratching herself and either banging her hands on trees or rubbing them on the grass. She also stripped off and changed. Eventually she moved on but we didn't want to be out there until she left.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I always wondered what a coolibah tree looked like. Now I know. Cache found safe and well. Thanks jpgordo.
To the tune of 'Waltzing Matilda', we sat by the billabong and signed the log for this cache, happily where the listed coordinates are and not where the description coordinates put it. Learned a bit about the coolibah tree before heading off along the Bush Walk again. Plenty of birds enjoying the dam this afternoon, too. TFTC, jpgordo. =^.^=
Heading back to the car I remembered that there was another on the map here so off I went, took a little bit longer to find than it really needed (note to self... stop over thinking these things)
Took a seat watching the branches sway in the breeze & still no luck, almost conceded defeat but took one last lap "just to make sure" and low & behold there it was. Lol
TFTC signed & returned after waiting for some little ones to ride by on their bikes.
Time to find a bottle shop & call it a day I think

Took a little bit to find but eventually got there, went at night and the bugs were EVERYWHERE
In Roma for the Roma Cup. What a great weekend we had. Continued on from the previous cache, found the cache and had a rest on the seat. 6am and no muggles, had the place to myself so spent some time here watching all the birds. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks jpgordo for placing a cache at this pretty spot.
We didn't see any swagmen sitting in the shade of this one but there was a cache here. On the way in we had to drive around a walker with her dog in the middle of the road - she didn't hear the car approaching because she had earphones in. Pretty lake here. A man was about to launch his RC boat but we didn't stay to watch. TFTC

Day one of my 2015 country caching trip of 7 days length usually and between 2500 and 3000 klm's. Arrived here via the my finds at Miles. Decided to drive straight to Injune then come back to Roma for the three there then head west with hopefully my overnight stop at Augathella. Now back in Roma and 7th cache for the day.
I parked close by at the end of Mayne Street and walked up to the bank. I had a stop to look at a placard on a tree and found the bison container. All good with this one.
Co Ordinates that worked for me S26 34.496 E148 46.893.
Quick find. All good with this one. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save space on the paper. TFTC jpgord

I got a call from RoddyC the other day saying he found Roma Cities (after a DNF on his last visit). During that phone call he alerted me to his DNF on this one too. I exclaimed that I did not know JPGordo had listed a new cache. Great news!
Today I was passing through again to the airport so I decided to swing by and try my luck. I followed the coordinates to a very familiar spot but no Coolibah tree here. The most recent log made sense. I could see the Coolibah tree complete with sign not far away so I strolled over.
I read the sign and nosed around a bit. Nothing obvious. Not wanting to give up I decided to sit down on the seat and take in the vista. Hello hello. What have we here. The vantage was perfect to reveal the little blighter.
What a great hide JPGordo. Simple. Elegant. I might try something like that at home! TFTC

We remembered being here last time, before the previous cache was archived. unfortunately, the coordinated today took us to the same bereft-looking garden patch. No Coolibah tree around. Looked around a few trees on higher ground, but came away empty handed. Now we STILL have TWO DNFs in Roma (This one and Target). My we have better luck next trip to Barky!
