Out with busy paws. Tried many options in a big circle, checked all trees and lumps of concrete.
#*$%!! Muggles have taken over this spot so the missing cache will not be replaced ??.
Looked under many rocks under some trees but was not able to locate the cache. Did search for about 5 mins so might very well have missed the right spot, since there are a lot of hiding places that match the description. Oh well, maybe for another time..
Took a bit of time but my father managed to beat me to itI was in the right area and he was in the wrong area - decided to come over to me and start searching there as our compass told us it was here- he stuck his hand down a gap between the rocks and felt it - almost couldnt get it out but he managed to get it out TFTC
Took a bit of searching but we found after looking at it from a number of angles
Un petite rechercher je de 10 minutes avant de trouver la petite!!!

Driving back to Nelson from Pohara, this spot was a quick stop for a swim and a cache. There seemed to be lots of places with the hint items, but it didn’t take too long to find the correct one. Cache all safe and sound. Thanks for the smiley.
Day 9 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Nelson. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

This one has been my nemesis over the past few years even when I had another pair eyes with me. This time the CO accompanied me but left me to my own devices and I found it straight away.
Cheers for the cache, Sidewaze.

Stopped here for lunch on day 2 of our 2-week Christmas holiday in the South Island. A bit windy, we will head inland for the night instead. Sveppi is not over enthusiastic about geocaching at the moment but I'm enjoying getting back into it on holiday. Easy find. Logbook quite full but was able to find a blank spot between two 2016 entries!
Interesting saltwater pool feature. Took a bit of time to find this one but finally successful looking for rocks instead of looking under the rock like concrete slabs
We were camping on the beach and this cache was very close to our motorhome. Tftc.
Spent ages being pleaded and insisting where it was before finally giving in at juniors request and reading a few logs - bingo he finds it 1 min later! Tftc
Nice easy find for the first thing in the morning.
Beautiful morning!
Thanks for the cache!
Beautiful morning!
Thanks for the cache!
When I was here before, I tried coming at GZ from several directions, which proved difficult and fruitless. With the recent find, the options were narrowed down enough that I could focus my efforts (and climbing skills) on the correct approach. This revealed the cx very nicely. TFTC.
quite a tricky find but look from the beach and have to move a rock to find it
On holiday at Motueka Top 10. Took a bit of searching but got there from the beach. TFTC
A bit of a struggle to find this one. Were just about to give up when I spotted something. Thanks for placing the cache
28 November 2021 11:06. As others have said, easier from below, it's all in the angle! Tftc 10460
We spent a while searching for this cache, before reading some previous logs, which indicated it was easier to find from below than above. As it was high tide, there wasn't much space to spare, but we did find it this way. For us the cache was a few metres ENE of the coordinates. TFTC
Found after a bit of clambering around. Like the previous visitor it certainly is easier to spot from below. Contents all good. Thanks Sidewaze

One of my favourite locations living in Motueka growing up Many summer hours spent here swimming in the sea baths
A great selfie to document the find...a story behind my giggling face too....apparently as one gets older, certain body positions are more susceptible for the escapement of air

First of the day. Just took a few minutes to find. A bit of activity here with the toilets getting cleaned but apart from that it was pretty quiet. Was easier to spot from down below. TFTC Sidewaze.
I had pre-warned RG1972 that we were going to be doing a bit of caching today, because it’s one of the few days I have left (4 I think) where I need to for a calendar project.
So we decided to drive to Motueka and have a bit of a walk around.
A good mixture of caches and 6 adventure labs too, meaning the latest souvenir offering is safely bagged. We had lunch on the waterfront and RG enjoyed walking around the town she grew up in visiting old haunts and telling me stories, most of which can’t be repeated here.
Thanks all COs.

Had lunch with beautiful views then went on the hunt. Looking forward to more thank you.
From Auckland and on a 7 weeks motor trip to the South Island to do all our outstanding parkruns.

Found with NZDi. It is Easter and NZDi decided she wanted to go to the Mapua Easter Fair seeing she missed out last year due to Covid-19 Level 4 Lockdown. Also we purchased a caravan late last year and as Easter is traditionally the last outing of the season before caravans are closed up for winter, we didn't want to waste this opportunity even though we have another trip planned next month.
So the plan is to set up at Motueka Top 10 Holiday Park for three days going to the Fair on Sunday, then on Monday look at the weather and decide whether to spend another three days in Golden Bay or head down the Wet Coast. In the meantime there is some caching to do.
Having cheekily checked in early at the caravan park and scoffed a lunch we prepared at home before we left, we headed out this neck of the woods on our MTB. On our way here we got the info for a puzzle and two multis, but the puzzle final was some distance in the future and the multis had us confused so we figured we would work on them back at the caravan. So now we are heading south along the coastal track heading for the other end of town picking up caches along the way.
This was our sixth find of the day and our second attempt at this one. Looking back at our caching history it was three years ago when we were across this way, also for the Mapua Easter Fair, that we made a cursory attempt on this. However it was muggle central, so we gave up because we were looking dodgy and didn't want to compromise the cache.
This time it was pretty much muggle free, although the odd person was nearby. I can't say it was a quick find and I was all ready to give up when NZDi suggested something. It was not where c:geo was indicating, but I never argue with NZDi, so I checked it out anyway and there it was, exactly as advertised in the cache description. After signing the log, I checked c:geo again and it had settled to within 1.5m, so there you go.

Two years ago we had no luck here. We were determined to find it this time. One previous log helped and made it much easier to see. Thanks for the cache sidewaze
Enjoyed a bike ride to Mot today, originally planning to go to the Kai festival. It was postponed due to covid level 2, so hunted for some caches instead
Quick look in likely places, but no luck.

What a hide - recommend being on the beach for this one. In good order! Thank you!!
Over a year ago I first looked for this one, I still have the feeling like we really looked under every stone and every tree. At one stage we were 4 people looking for it but couldn't find it. I didn't have big expectations when I come here to look for a cache (not Geocache listed) that was released to celebrate the Get Outdoors week. That one was found easily, but not this one. So after some time searching I went on to the next cache, but as the car was parked here I had to come back and this time widened the search area to the other direction and finally found it!! Easier if coming from the Saltwater bath side.
I DNFd this one back in January and so I returned to put it right. Trusting the coords help! I used to have a hut here as a kid. We didn't really swim in the saltwater baths back then but they are looking a lot better now. We also found a smartphone nearby and then managed to find its owner, so good deed done for the day. I'm getting good at this finding things gig. Thanks Sidewaze.
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
*Soon located, plenty more light rain at times today*
Took quite a while to find, nice area - just about sundown and peaceful here after the rain.

Found it!! Stayed here for a couple nights, such a great place to be. Just keep looking. And when you are about to give up, you’ll find it.

GPS was a bit all over the place so looked under lots of rocks under lots of trees
Not many folks in the pools, too darn cold with all the snow on the hills and the cold breeze blowing. Took a while but got there in the end. Cheers
A nice quick find thanks. An interesting history around the pool!
Found on a showery day around Motueka. We stayed mostly dry, but the coats certainly got a bit wet!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Nice walk over with a group form the cito and the co to locate the cache. Beautiful day to be outside! TFTC!!
The nice lady helped us to look for this one and she found it and then Diaz found it. thank you
We thought this one was further up the bank, thank you for helping us find it, we met some other people here too
this was hard to find because we were looking in the wrong place then the owner came and helped us thank you very much
GPS jumping around a bit.
Had a team of five on the case.
Rearanged the landscape a bit.
Looked under every tree.
I guess it's just not our day.️
