Well we found the right location… we found only the geocaching card - the actually container is nowhere to be found . Checked with previous finder …. Yep we where in the right spot. Sorry no I have no container to replace it with…. Pic sent to CO as proof.
Tftc log book is damp but still useable great hide would have driven straight past this spot if not for this cache so thank you for bringing us here
I’ve driven past this spot many times and today decided to finally stop, have a look and most importantly grab a cache! The memorial wall is lovely, it’s a shame there hasn’t been any up keep on the yard itself. TFTC!
Tftc Code1, day out from Bathurst for us today .

Well, this is the park that time forgot This is what I love about caching - who on earth would be visiting this park without a cache being placed here... Which is a shame given that there's a lovely memorial here. I love discovering weird little places like this! TFTC

Today I met up with Calypso62 and Rama497 to do some of TRLT series. Calypso62, Team Canary and I did a fair chunk of the first stretch back in April 2017, Calypso62 and I haven't managed to return until now. We were lucky enough to have Rama497 come and join us today, making the day a whole lot of fun. There were instances where we saw snow, some where we felt snow, some where we walked through (fallen) snow, some where the caches had snow on them and even some where it was snowing at the time! I don't think the car said it was warmer than 3 degrees all day yet we still managed to find at least 36 caches (we revisited some previous finds so Rama497 could find them too). It was a wonderful day.
Phone calls and catch up plans were made here along with geocaching. Another good find but it's a bit too chilly to look around too much.

Day 3
With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild. Our intention was to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area.
We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure. Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.
Thanks for the hide Code1 and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.
Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for their efforts.

With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
Thanks for the hide Code1 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

This was our third day of searching for caches on this trail, having started late in the afternoon two days again. The first afternoon the weather had been cold and wet, and yesterday dry but very chilly. Today the weather was perfect - beautiful sunshine, warmer and only a gentle breeze. The scenery was simply stunning along the roads the series took us along and so once again we had another great day out geocaching. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache at this nice location in the middle of nowhere! Greetings from Zimbabwe
Caching in and around the Sunny Corner area, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

An interesting memorial park out of towne
But it seems that the locals have lost interest in their park
I wandered around the neglected area,
to find this not so neglected cache

OCW frazeydaze. On the trip to White Rock to visit family over Christmas we made a slight detour to find a few of TRLT caches between Meadow Flat and Sunny Corner. All caches were quickly found and in good condition. TFTC
Here we found lots of knitted poppies - being just after the centenary of the original Remembrance Day - and a well cared-for park. Despite the loo block being cordoned off! Tftc!
Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it. Thank you for the cache.
I was heading to Portland today and decided I'd take the scenic route there from Lithgow, travelling via Tarana and Sunny Corner (with a couple of diversions thrown into the mix) to pick up some of the TRLT series in a last ditch attempt to earn the final Hidden Creatures souvenir. In the end, I think I found enough to get me the turtle souvenir but that aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the drive ... particularly this section past all the pine plantations ... the place certainly looks very different to when I was here last, with with so much having been logged in recent years.
Thanks for placing caches along the road less travelled Code1 ... I for one appreciate the effort you and others have gone to.

Back today to do more of this fun series. We love the rural areas so this sort of caching suits us just fine. A lot of work has gone into putting out these caches and we are grateful to the co. Thanks to Code1 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Our xmas caching trip is to clear out the trlt series, this was day 3 of our adventure. Well done to all the COs for setting up series and the hard work in maintaining it. We really appreciate it. This one was bit exposed, tried our best to cover it. Tftc
A quiet little place, easy enough to find and explore. Cache was found and signed without any issue. Returned, and off we went. Thanks for the cache!

Found as part of a weekend away with Hoojar. We headed up towards Gulgong the first night and camped near the start/ end of TRLT (@ -5 degrees ). The next day we made it through some nice historic places and great rolling countryside to finish up at Sunny Corner after a feed in Bathurst. The next day a few more finds before we headed home. Plenty of roadkill spotted, not many cars and not too much trouble at each cache. Thanks to all those cache hiders .
The opportunity finally arose that Steeba and I both had a free weekend to go caching. We quickly settled upon the northern half of The Road Less Traveled series. We drove to Gulgong via Mudgee after work on Friday, camping just before midnight at the suggested TSR nearby.
Saturday we made our way via the caching trail, and the odd additional cache, to Bathurst for dinner, then back onto the trail to Sunny Corner where we again camped for the evening.
Sunday we turned our heads for home, via a few additional cache stops in Portland and Wallerawang.
A fantastic weekend away, with excellent country to be seen and company to be had. We enjoyed the caches that we found.
Thank you to all of the cache owners, and sorry for the boiler-plate logs!
Good little spot, slept under the shelter for the night.
Cheers

Find #1516
With our 1500th cache milestone in sight, we set off on a caching day up into this beautiful region, driving The Road Less Travelled through Palmers Oakey, Dark Corner and Sunny corner. We managed 48 finds (and one little 'bonus' cache) for the day, only one DNF. Starting the day at -2 degrees and thick fog, it turned into a ripper of a day, never really getting above 8 degrees, quite nice in the sun though.

14031. Found with specimenX during another run around finding the southern half of the TRLT series plus any others as we could squeeze in.
Another big day out with Caching Wench Number 1 starting with an early departure from Canberra, with perfect weather for our ramble along those country roads for many many finds. We found all the caches to be good sized containers and nice hides. Next find of the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and we headed off to the next one.

Apologies for the generic log-We found most of the TRLT series were good sized containers and easy finds with only a handful proving to be a bit of a challenge.

Found these on a great caching day attempting another section of TRLT! Thank you for all the effort in placing these caches! It's great travelling these roads you wouldn't normally think to travel, and finding little pockets of paradise and fantastic views! : )
