Its a cold & miserable day, so we packed up the kids & car and hit the road to find some caches TFTC
#13820 Three days on the road from Sydney to Mudgee, with the main objective of finding and logging the TRLT-North. It was an enjoyable drive, across dirt roads and some beautiful scenery. Day 1 we camped overnight at Hill End and day 2 we pitched out tent in Mudgee. The caches were easily found so the focus was fully on the journey through our Mid Western region of NSW.TFTC to all cache owners for maintaining this great series.
Over shot GZ did a quick u turn and soon found the hidden stashThanks for the cache

Today I met up with Calypso62 and Rama497 to do some of TRLT series. Calypso62, Team Canary and I did a fair chunk of the first stretch back in April 2017, Calypso62 and I haven't managed to return until now. We were lucky enough to have Rama497 come and join us today, making the day a whole lot of fun. There were instances where we saw snow, some where we felt snow, some where we walked through (fallen) snow, some where the caches had snow on them and even some where it was snowing at the time! I don't think the car said it was warmer than 3 degrees all day yet we still managed to find at least 36 caches (we revisited some previous finds so Rama497 could find them too). It was a wonderful day.
This one was our last planned traditional for today - ready to meet our mates back at my car / the multi, which was to be our last planned find for the day. What a grand vista there was here too.

Day 3
With the COVID19 restrictions lifting, we decided to head to the Bathurst area this long weekend on a Geomission with Rapidlywild. Our intention was to attack the TRLT trail and others around the area.
We had a great four days, only a few DNF’s but mostly smiley's, and have left plenty for another adventure. Lovely area to cache in and we look forward to coming back for some more fun and laughs.
Thanks for the hide Code1 and thanks Rapidlywild for another great weekend away.
Apologies for the generic log, thank you to all the cache owners for their efforts.

With COVID19 locking everyone down for so long, a MUCH overdue geocaching mission was welcomed. FurfacesLL #1 and myself decided to head towards Bathurst and attack some of the TRLT caches and see how far we can go. Spoke to a few of the CO's prior to heading up to see if we could assist with any maintenance that was required, so we went prepared with some camo containers and some fresh log books. We had a wonderful weekend stretching the legs and enjoying the country side.
Thanks for the hide Code1 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Easy find. Where's the sun gone? Was sunny and warm when we left Bathurst 20 mins ago now cold and trying to drizzle. Not good for cycling.
Over from Perth on work, so while in Bathurst I've spent a bit of time each day grabbing a couple of caches.
Left early this morning to tackle a loop of caches NE of town.
Quick find here once at GZ. TFTC

This was our third day of searching for caches on this trail, having started late in the afternoon two days again. The first afternoon the weather had been cold and wet, and yesterday dry but very chilly. Today the weather was perfect - beautiful sunshine, warmer and only a gentle breeze. The scenery was simply stunning along the roads the series took us along and so once again we had another great day out geocaching. This one was a nice quick by the light of our headlamps once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache, our last of another great day out geocaching, and where the vista still looked good even in the low light! Greetings from Zimbabwe
Heading out to find some caches that are hopefully over the 1000 metre mark. This was one we found and it was an easy one. Log signed and all replaced. Thanks for the cache.
On a ridiculously cold Autumn morning,
the vista looked a bit overcast,
but still grand
And after hugging a tree on the roadside,
I had a cache found
Note to self ... hugging trees doesn't warm you up

Thank you so very very much for this awesome series that is showing us around with minimal bitumen. Absolutely loving it, although the wind and rain are coming in sideways and it is nearly dark. A good time to stop for the day. Thank you for the cache.
Heading to Portland today with time on my hands, I decided I'd take the scenic route there from Lithgow, travelling via Tarana and Sunny Corner (with a couple of diversions thrown into the mix) to pick up some of the TRLT series in a last ditch attempt to earn the final Hidden Creatures souvenir.
I thoroughly enjoyed the drive and in the end, was able to pick up enough caches along the way, I think, to get me the turtle souvenir. Thanks for helping me do so Code1.

We have left the Morisset Geo Muster where we spent Easter and are now travelling South in our interim caravan.
At the moment we are camped near Lithgow at a lovely free camp at Lake Wallace. Today we headed to Bathurst for the day, travelling via the backroads.
We went out of our way a couple of times today for this "old school" caching trail, good coordinates, swaps, decent sized containers, thoughtful placement with parking and always a great view.
TFTSeries they are much appreciated Code1

Back today to do more of this fun series. We love the rural areas so this sort of caching suits us just fine. A lot of work has gone into putting out these caches and we are grateful to the co. Thanks to Code1 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Our xmas caching trip is to clear out the trlt series, this was day 3 of our adventure. Well done to all the COs for setting up series and the hard work in maintaining it. We really appreciate it. Travelling along nicely now, weather has improved. Nice views up here. Tftc
This was a grand vista indeed! (If you were looking at trees) - I guess this season doesn’t really let you see the township, and walking in fairly tall grass in midday is it’s own levels of dangerous. Nevertheless, the cache was found and signed, and back in the car we went. Onwards to Sunny Corner!
Found with Foreignnebula and Team Normal!
