Don’t know why the finder prior felt the need to make maintenance suggestion log…
All is fine and dandy when I found it today

There will not necessarily be clues to final caches in every cache in a series.
Achilles went for a walk with Briseis and baby Pyrrhus whilst celebrating the local pagan holiday with family. He managed a quick find but unfortunately could not locate any clues to solve the riddle at the end.
Some time in between jobs and have always wanted to tackle this series. Great weather today to try TFTC
Found with axell33. We moved the car to the parking area to look for the last 2 and the final. Being a Saturday it was very busy with the local horse jumping events happening and such a great day to be outdoors. Axell33 spotted it and fumbled around before seeing it right in front of me! Thanks for the hide here ShortcutHicksy.
After moving the car down to the car park we set off for the last two. We stopped here and made a nice quick find. We signed the log as we enjoyed our surroundings. Your cache was returned back to where we found it. Once again it’s always nice to do a welfare check on one that hasn’t been found for awhile and happy to report this one is doing just fine. TFTC ShortcutHicksy.
We finally got back to find this one. Last time the fence had been repaired so the cache was missing. This time it was an easy walk as we knew we needed to park at the horse training complex.
Thanks for replacing the cache.
Thanks for replacing the cache.
So close to home.and yet so rural. A quick find once I'd worked out how to get here.
No luck here. There is a new fence on one of the properties near GZ. Maybe it's gone?
See photo.

Finished work a little early today, so thought I'd cash in by getting a small series and this fit the bill nicely.
Nice bit of camo work here and I wasn't really expecting it to be the cache.

Decided to enjoy the sunshine and tackle this series today. Like the previous finder, I started at #3, then onto #4 & #5. Then at #1 a muggle horse rider & a very loud barking dog had me hot footing it up to #2 before getting back to the car. I drove round to the Palomino Reserve and quickly had #1 in hand (clever camo). Few minutes later, had worked out the co-ordinates for the final puzzle and took another walk to find it.
Thanks ShortcutHicksy for great little series.
Thanks ShortcutHicksy for great little series.
I was in the area today, and so I decided that I would have a go at tackling this series. I parked near #3 and walked down the river to #5, I then went up the trail to find the other two. All were found without trouble. Thanks for a great walk on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
ShortcutHicksy, I found your cache ‘Wungong River #1’ today. It was the sixth find of seven finds for me today and brings my total count to 837. The cache was found in a good condition so I added my signature to the log book and I replaced it as I found it. Thank you for the cache, the hide and for bringing me to this location.

Had to trek to Bunnings Armadale today after work and once the steam cleaner was in the car, remembered this series of caches that had been taunting me for quite some time. No way would we be here in summer....ugghhh! Decided the timing would never more opportune so we called in on the way home. Tried for number 1 first but couldn't work out how to access it so switched to the river series. Heaps of water everywhere after yesterday's downpour so out came the gum boots from the boot. So glad I store them there. Sqwelched my way to number 2 and 3 as well and made quick finds. On the way back to the parking area, spotted the entry into these last 2 caches and decided to give them a go while we were all gum-booted up. Not many places to hide a cache but this one still took a bit of searching. Nifty hide/ A fave, i think. Will award it at the final as not sure how to do this once i am editing a previous log. TFTC, ShortcutHicksy. All well with cache.
Happy New Year!! And what better way to start the new year off than with a day out caching. Teamed up with Mr Jackylegs to come and find the newer ones around the Mundijong/Byford/Armadale area. This one took longer to find than some of the others, but persistence paid off and I eventually found the caches hiding spot - sneaky, sneaky, and very cleverly done - worthy of a favourite point for sure Thanks for the smiley ShortcutHicksy
Decided to do the SCH series around Palomino reserve walk trails. After the latest rains some of the trail is a bit damp. At this cache site there was plenty of water and mud. Chil found this one, a sneaky hide.
thanks for the cache SCH
thanks for the cache SCH
The youngest team member was the finder again - awesome cache. The sun was starting to get to us and we'd forgotten to bring the clues we'd noted down from the other caches, so we'll be back yet again on a fine but not too hot day to finish the trail - good thing we live close. Nice walk past the horse paddocks - then back to suburbia. TFTC
have competed successfully at many shows here over the years, its one of my favourite grounds. I thought being a Saturday it might be quieter, however when I arrived I saw a very familiar uniform of a Young riders Dressage club is used to be a member off. So the Dogs and I headed out for a lovely walk starting at 5 because it had quieter access with the dogs and making our way through the series to one before heading to the final.
Loved the camo here, simple but effective. I don't normally award a fav for a nano but this was a clever one, and my favourite of the series as it was something different. Now to work out the final co-ordinates. TFTC ShortcutHicksy

We went for a drive down south and on the way back took some time to walk in to do the rest of these caches. Found three without problems but had trouble at the last one.
Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks ShortcutHicksy for the cache.

Great walk in the cooler weather with geo kids and cousins. The kids loved seeing the horses and other animals up close.
Allowed the group kids first go at this one before lending some advice. Loved the hide and for a micro the kids said it was the best one they have found hehe

Im loving the fact the sun is rising early this time of year. It means an opportunity to grab the odd cache before work.
Headed out to walk this series and a great walk it is.
Have a fav for the camo here. A simple but effective job.

Sat in my car at the designated WP waiting for what looked like a stray dog to get bored of my arrival and leave the scene. There were a couple of horses being exercised on the oval. I found the "path" to GZ and logged a quick find here. Thanks ShortcutHicksy.
Made a quick find here between visits to #2. Liked the camo for this one and giving it a fav. Nice work ... now back for another crack at #2
SL. Thanks for the hide ShortcutHicksy

Headed back out here this arvo to see if I could finish off the 'Wungong River' series. Had #'s 1 and 2 plus the final to go and with no muggles about it was a pretty successful outing.
Arrived at GZ here and was searching for a few minutes before I found the well camo'd cache just as a quite unfriendly dog from a neighboring property arrived voicing his disgust at my presence. Quickly did the signing duties, replaced and was on my way.
ShortcutHicksy I found your cache at 4:27pm, this was the 1st of 3 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2384. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Mr iluvtrekking made a quick find of this well camo'd container. Thanks ShortcutHicksy
A quick find today - it seems that Monday lunchtime is a good time for this series as there was no-one about. A great hide - obviously some hard work in preparation. A fav point from me for your efforts. Thanks to ShortcutHicksy for the cache.
After walking past number 2 we could see a man on a horse straight ahead. It looked like he was waiting for us to go past him so he could maybe gallop along the straight bit. Thinking he might be a bit annoyed waiting for us to pass when we got close he said hello and asked why we had put gypsy on the lead, was she scared of horse? We just didn't want her to spook the horse, but the man said his horse was very good with dogs and we could let gypsy say hello. They had a sniff of each other and all was good. This was at GZ so we left that one for another day also ! We will be back though it's such a lovely place for a walk. Thanks ShortcutHiskey
Had about half an hour spare this afternoon so decided to see if I could knock off this new series or at least make a start on it. Ended up doing the whole loop with mixed results, I only had 3 of the 4 required numbers for the final and had a look in a couple of spots on the way back to the car to no avail. I'll be back to finish off the series another day.
On approach to GZ here I noticed a farmer in a nearby paddock working with a horse who also seemed very interested in what I was doing (the farmer not the horse) . I scratched around for a couple of minutes before moving on.
ShortcutHicksy I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 3 finds today so all is not lost.

ROSS1957 was very nice and swept me away this morning, well away from the painting and gardening that is to catch some smilies.
Well done ShortcutHicksy, I like the series and noticed you left the area on the other side of the river for another series, right??!!

I picked up Me&B to save her from a day of painting and we headed out.
Found this one and thought we were in for a tricky day.
I like the creativity. Fav from me.

I saw these caches come out a few days ago but today was the first chance i had to come out and find them. a great little series and a pleasant walk along the track to find the caches. Stopped a few times to say hi to some cows and horses but unfortunatley they didnt have much to say....Im giving a favourite point for each one of the caches.
This was the first stop after parking the car and the cache was quickly found. TFTC ShortcutHicksy

I wonder what time Ooh Yeh came round here because we were on her tail & hoped we would bump into her, but no such luck. We used to live quite close to here & often walked our old dog, Archie, around these bridal paths. Experiencing Deja vu as we walked with Mac on this beautiful sunny morning. We wondered whether we had missed a clue for the final here. I even sent Geohubby back to check....no, it's OK you don't need one here! TFTC
TFTC! Convinced the geowife to take a drive to go for a nice little walk. About half way there she asked is this for a GEO? Yes dear it is....silence.
In the words of the muggle wife: "was a really nice walk except for the constant stopping". Great series SCH and would be good to see more caches coming from you. Thanks

*FTF* at 7.00am.
One of the few benefits of not being able to sleep in is being awake when new cache notifications come through early. Neither of us was working today so jumped in the car and on the road by 6.40am. This is not area we are familiar with, it is beautiful and perfect for an early morning walk. We didn't pick up any of the TBs. Got a bit excited as we pulled into the car park and didn't see another car and happy to FTF all in the series. Thank you for the series and for bringing us here ShortcutHicksy.
This was one very clever cache that had us hunting for a bit.

2nd to find:) when I thumped my iPhone this morning to tell me the time two things flashed up on the screen. New geocaches and Shortcuthicksy. Yesssss. Something in our neck of the woods this time!! I jumped out of bed and made a coffee hurrying the kids up and blow me down Fratra starts logging FTFs at 7am!!! Haha awesome. 2nd to find is allllmost as much fun so I decided to run for it anyways. Mr ValoForce dragged his feet to work because well....somebody has to pay the bills and someone has to run for new caches. He drew the short straw....heheh.
This cache was an excellent camo, had me stumped for a few minutes and the odd looks the cows were giving me was fairly off putting.
Thanks for the series Shortcuthicksy. Lovin it!
