I had what I thought was a thorough search, but was unable to turn it into a "nice and easy" find. Another for the watchlist!!!
2nd DNF for me here. We spent quite a bit of time here today searching but no luck. 3rd time lucky ??
No go here for us.......checked what we thought was a good spot, but alas we came up empty handed.
Will be back again one day I'm sure. Thanks anyway Oz KEG......

I needed to head over to Queanbeyan today to seek out a part for the geoteen's jalopy. I mentioned the mission and the possibility of a spot of caching to Sol de lune when we had lunch yesterday and so a plan was hatched to collect a few more in this series. Sadly, after a promising start, this one was not to be today. Given other logs talk abouit 'the most obvious spot' as being the place to look, maybe a bit of cache blindness? I'll have to keep an eye on this one....
Suscoe had an enjoyable few hours wandering the streets around Queanbeyan today.
It was generally sunny day with a strong wind that persisted all day.
With a good range of hides and containers we had an terrific time.
Thanks to Oz Keg for this hide.
All quiet here today.
Wish the wind would stop.

Good hide and find. Can't get over the word"Parklet" never noticed it before. TFTC
Came for a netball carnival and just happened to park across the road, so was a quick detour at the end of the day. Tftc
From the few I've done up to this point (5), you've struck a very nice theme, Oz Keg, and produced some good hides. This is my first find in your series. I'll give you a favorite for the series. I'll just have to pick a cache to do it on.
I'm out on a hot afternoon with some ice water and the GeoSchnauzers. It's lucky I didn't read the logs before I got here, as prior DNFs often put me off on a hot day. On this occasion, the DNF was a false alarm. I had no trouble finding the cache. Nice hide though. The GeoSchnauzers enjoyed the short walk.

Decided to head out today with the geopups and clean up some in the Queanbeyan area, we had been neglecting our fur kids while looking after everyone else's so they joined us today for a romp in some of the Queanbeyan parks. Think they forgive us now.
Headed to the most obvious spot for this one and got another quick find.

A late night attempt on this park. It's always hard to find the right time of day to check out these parks. During the day the muggles are playing and watching and although at night you have the park to yourself it's never good using a torch and being suspicious near houses. Luckily this cache was in the obvious spot and therefore a quick find. TFTC.
I do think this series would benefit from some hints

Went on a last minute caching run to QBN with MTRAX today. We mostly tackled the QBN parks series, with mixed success. I tackled 13 caches and found only 8, MTRAX found a few more - ones I had already found
F(H)ound it! 5:00pm
Another quick after work outing with the Ridgeo-pup. It was true for me too that the coordinates appeared to be in someones back yard but it was still a quick find, thank goodness. Redeemed myself after 2 DNFs in this series. Interesting the apparent socio-economic difference after traveling only a couple of suburban blocks. Queanbeyan is not as one dimensional as those Canberrans like to think Thanks for the cache Oz KEG

Found on a big day out geocaching. After parking down on the street, it was a short walk towards GZ for a very quick find. Such a clear park. I would call this a micro container, but it doesn't matter too much. TFTC Oz KEG!
Decided to head out today and grab some more Queanbeyan Parks caches. In total, picked up a dozen finds and 4 DNF's next time maybe.
Most of the finds were quickly located and log signed and cache replaced nice and quickly. I wasnt aware the QBN show was on this weekend, this helped me with the park locations as they were all deserted
Thanks for the cache placement Oz KEG

Finally one of these "nice and easy" caches (as other finders have put it) turned out to be nice and easy.
Plenty of muggles in the vicinity but none in the park. A quick find and TFTC Oz KEG
Another drive-by in the late afternoon before we headed back to Canberra. We have loved seeing how many little parks and parklets there are in Queanbeyan.
Thanks Oz keg

#840 After a short walk, I had a quick find. Replacing it back made a loud snap. No one heard it, I think. TFTC.
coordinates were indicating 10m into someone's property - what did we do wrong? (Beginners!)
I decided to have a go at the most recent collection of Queanbeyan caches and a few others. Two DNFs and one find of an old nemesis cache. A nice day out on a cool morning with some fun hides.
Thanks.

Lucky no Muggles here today, quick find and then dog started to bark, we got out of here. TFTC
FTF. I received emails six new caches had been published and set out to try for FTF. This was the only one I managed, as Tankengine was ahead of me. A quick find at GZ. TFTC Oz KEG.
PS. Then after I got home, I received two more emails letting me know two more had been published. Another time!
