Found on a drive in the area. Didn't get as many caches as expected as a warning light on the Ute came on
Container is damaged: lid is missing and bag is torn. It seems safe as the logbook is not wet, but probably need some love.
Today, after the after school activity, we decide to head over here for a multi and a playground. As I parked the car, Mr10 was disappointed as he didn't see a great playground. Suddenly there was a spark in his eyes: have you see the giant flying fox? He ran over while I was gathering number. He needed some helps as the cord was too short to bring on the platform. After a while we headed to the final, made our find and then tried the second playground. Nice evening, it was dark when we left. Logbook is in good condition, despite the bag being torn and the container lid missing.
TFTC. Solved ages ago. Finally found. Coordinates off a bit. Found with andyfreya. A few trees further along.
In the area, and come to collect a cache that I'd solved for today's multi dot day... took a moment before I made the find. No playing today, although it's tempting... TFTC Aslan*, the cache was found in good order . Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. Find #4789
Calculating the coordinates was straightforward, but finding the cache less so. We checked a number of possible locations, before finally spotting one quite beyond Mrs W.E.K.A.s reach, which proved to contain the cache, however, for us it was 11 metres southwest of our calculated coordinates. TFTC
We came here sometimes when our daughters were small, so it was good to return 20 years later. I'd had my eye on this cache for a while, but figured I wouldn't be able to reach it. Definitely needed KR to handle it. Thank you Aslan*
Came to see if I could rectify a DNF from about 4 years ago. Reworked the numbers and managed to get my fingers on it this time - yeah! Always feeels good to turn those sad faces into bright smiling ones. TFTC # 20,845
DNF. Think we found where it might be but way higher than we could reach even with TOTT.
Found with an extra hint from the CO. Thanks. I had thought that was the hiding place, but wasn't able to reach far enough. Today I had help. SL
This is a nice park that I've never been to before. I was nearby for an appointment so ended up here to look for this cache. The multi was straight forward but my GPS was all over the place at the final and I gave up on it, just looked around for a hide matching the hint. Found a likely spot but just couldn't reach, it was higher than hint suggested! Tried a makeshift tool, I could hear the tell tale sound of a cache and finally I managed to retrieve it with great difficulty so that was a relief. The lid has come off the container but log is dry. TFTC!
Quick field multi without complicated maths, thank you. A number of adults gathered near the final initially, however out waited them; TFTC
I was out and about this morning finding exploring different areas and finding a few caches along the way. Last cache for me today. I needed a multi to fill in a multi dot day and this was it. Collected the numbers needed to find the cache and then headed to the final location. Phone GPS a bit wandery under the trees but the cache was found in a logical spot. TFTC, Biggles.
Collected the numbers on our bike trip today and then headed to the final. Beeba had found it previously but we still had trouble finding the cache as the coordinates still seemed a bit out. Finally stood back and decided where a geocacher would put the cache. I could feel it but couldn't get my hands on it. Beeba is taller than me so she reached it for me. The weather was feeling a bit rough but it came right a few mins later.
We came out this afternnon to see how busy it was here. No one in the park, goodness ok let's do the homework. Then went to final as needed a multi today for a monthly challenge we are attempting this month. Nice and quiet so went for a walk.
Happy to find cache and sign log. Thanks for this multi and cache Aslan*.
Happy to find cache and sign log. Thanks for this multi and cache Aslan*.
An easy find once I ignored the coords and looked in an obvious nearby spot.
Thanks for this nice wee multi- I'm trying to do 4 multi caches today!!!

Finally managed to get this cache. I have been here before but always too many people near GZ including park workers. Today there wasn’t anyone nearby which made for a quick find.
Easy calc but complicated by a rugby match going on. Gps affected by trees but soon found likely place.
My first multi and close to home which is good because it's taken me a couple of goes to get this one. First time I read the instructions wrong and ended up in the wrong direction, luckily not far away. Second time the counsel were parked right next to where I wished to hunt. Today with kids in tow we managed to complete the task, GPS a bit out but hint made it an easy find.
Solved quickly enough but then the fun started. The GPS went on a big wander before settling but only after I'd searched a bunch of spots. Finally found 20m from where the gps was pointing.
A nice and easy multi. I was pleased that the final didn't take long to find as it was raining quite hard. Thanks for placing the cache
I had to spread my search a little, thinking "if I were a geocache, I'd be..."
Sat and did the sums but couldn't find anything where the calculations took me or a bit further out each side. Back to the car and reworked them with the same result. This time there was really only one most likely place but by now I was in full view of a couple of young guys so I needed to keep going. I did check the spot the first time but not thoroughly. I will be back.
Quick and easy to solve. Coords a little out for me but persistence paid off.

Parked up at this quiet park and did the sums in the car. Seemed straight forward enough. Made my way to GZ, nothing really stood out. Re-did the sums, read some logs and decided I had it right. Coords out by 12 metres for me today but an easy find in the most obvious location. All good here, TFTC Aslan.
Had 15 minutes up my sleeve, so a couple of quick caches in the Hoon Hay area while waiting for my sister to finish work.

GPS was off, but looked around, put hand up into likely spot and felt it. TFTC
I did the maths a while ago but a family gathering at GZ didn't help my chances. Another attempt today and the coast was clear. A nice cleanish log book too, bonus. Time to head home now. Cheers
Worked out the numbers for this one a while ago but there have always been muggles around when I have tried to look for the cache. Passed by again today and saw that the coast was clear! The cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Out and about with several keen cachers- but we had no luck with this one. Didn't seem to be too many options, and we checked them out- but we were out of luck. Will have to try again
A quick and easy find before it is getting too hot. Of course the area is totally deserted early in the morning, so we could take our time. TFTC
Great opportunity to grab a few on the way home! This one has been on the to do list for some time, good to be in the area, and TFTC!!
A nice wander and I had the final. A bit of a stretch but boom caches found.

Drove nearby and went for a lunchtime walk and number crunch. Quick easy muilti on a dreary almost winters day. Thanks for the effort in putting this together.
These days I travel with necessary aid for the height impaired in my car. Helps a lot! Tftc
Found with Injeanious, a nice little multi. Needed a bit of assistance to reach the final. TFTC!
A nice and simple multi that gave us a chance to stretch our legs. With the aide of a stick we were able to reach the cache. Signed the log as Jeje.
#13165. It was a nasty rainy evening, but a few finds were needed to get is both up to 10+ for October 14, so we set out for a few drive bys. I've been solving some close multis as homework (on lunchtime bike rides) in the last couple of weeks, and had already sussed out this location of this cache. That made it a good candidate for tonight's outing. TFTC.
Found on a postprandial cache grab with StreetWalker, with the aim to get our finds for Oct 14 into double figures. It was a cold rainy evening, so we were looking for quick drive bys.
Despite being a multi, this was a quickie as SW had already done the leg work a week or 2 ago, and had even found the cache. It was already in his hands by the time I reached GZ.
I can remember finding a cache in this park several years ago, and can remember the line of magnificent trees. Thanks for bringing me back and TFTC.

Out on an evening dog walk and the quest to find the closest caches to current home. This is the 4th closest.
Some serious playground **jargon** here - block Wall, multi-play structure, goal posts, hoop, horse, roundabout, see - saw, solo spinner
At first my calculations went wrong and then I realized I haven't read the task closely enough - didn't notice the word "middle". I got it all right on 2nd take and then went and found the cache.
Thanks for the cache!

Thankfully I had a few multis solved (final coords calculated) that for one reason or another I hadn't managed to find. That made for an easy achievement for the GC Mission on Sunday (after a Grotto Saturday and a cold put me off).

2nd visit. I was in luck this time - no watcher seated on the seat today. Nice quick find a little distance from my calculated GZ.. Thanks for the cache Aslan*
Came at a rugby game, of all times! But managed to recover and replace with due care

Out today for a lunchtime caching mission with 2wombles.
Picked out this way, and headed here first.
A pretty easy and quick find - no issues here! So good to tick more multi's off!!

A nice quick solve at the GZ, with Sonia26642 and a quick find at the final GZ. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. Sophie grabbed it while we were out at the playground. She had to sit on daddy's shoulders to reach!
I actually worked this out at home and we just needed to confirm our coords at GZ. A nice easy find but we needed something extra to retrieve. Putting it back was the easy part. Thanks for the cache and the quick little multi
On a cyclocache ride around the SE suburbs of Christchurch I rode up to the sign and quickly calculated the final location. However, as I neared the cache GZ I discovered that there was a muggle on the nearby seat, who had a clear view of exactly where I wished to search. After loitering a bit by cycling across the park and back I got the distinct impression that the muggle was in no hurry to move on - in spite of the fact that he was sitting facing into a cold rainy southerly. I'll be back.
TFTC. I was just checking what caches were around homes I visit frequently - what is this? Oh no completed with fun in Jan and hadn't logged it. Sorry about the late logging.
Thanks Aslan* I enjoy your multis.
Thanks Aslan* I enjoy your multis.
I may have got my coordinates slightly wrong. Using the hint I figured out where it was
With some help from the CO (GPS all over the place) this is now a smiley. YAY! TFTC Aslan*
[green] What a day. Out on the bike again, hoping for my target of 40 caches. Wasn't looking like I was going to make it - multis, wherigos and DNFs slow you down. And I had a LOT of DNFs today - one had even been archived just a few days ago. But I got my 40, although I arrived back at the backpackers an hour later than hoped. Hot, tired, sweaty, smelly, happy. And sun burnt. Better pack the sunscreen tomorrow.
Surprisingly quick find. Mainly because I just had a batch of DNFs and was seriously worried about the state of my mojo. But it looks like I am back on form!

My car is getting serviced today so I decided to go on a morning bike ride.
I have wanted to complete this multi for a while. Finally I came at a quite time. Just before a school holidays sporting activity was being set up. Phew. Thanks for all the hides Aslan.

Visiting from Montana and spending time with my brother in Christchurch. My cousin and I actually found this one the night before with the iPhone but had to come back with the gps so we could input the new coordinates. Found the final after checking out a few possibilities. Easily retrieved without onlookers.
Rushed to solve and find before heading off for a bit of a walk in the Lewis Pass. Luckily I got everything correct the first time and it was a quick find. TFTC (2401)
The good thing about the horrendous weather, was the absolute absence of any human presence!! So we could hunt in peace. Mind you the wet wind was going horizontal so we didn't dally!!!! The cache was all warm and dry (quite surprising in that rain) and in the only place it could be. Thanks.
Plenty of kids in the play area, too busy with their own games to worry about mine.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

A busy day so no time to head out until later. Thought it unusual that this one remained unlogged...popped along to give the kids a run around. Quick find and sign in one of our local parks...beaten by TW by a good couple hours!
Cheers for the new ones...ill try for the others another day.

I spotted this one this morning in the flurry of cache publication action. I had left it thinking it was way too close to TGs house and by the time I even thought of heading there TG would be back home. I had left if even as cachelet #3 was fading and was in need of his nap. We had a quiet afternoon and cachelet #1 and #3 had sleeps. We decided once everyone was up we'd go for a play at the play ground and have and ice cream. We headed to the park and scored the numbers and then went for the find. It was convienently placed for our adventure. We found the cache and was really surprised to score a late {FTF} this cool sunny winters day. We had a great play at the play ground and scored some ice creams on the way home.
Thanks for the cache.
