Found a list of caches that I forgot to log, found this on 31/7/2016 with nzkeko.
Managed to solve some more BOP puzzles & was keen to arrange another trip to Tauranga to sign them off. Had some spare time today but the weather is abysmal - definitely not a day to be out geocaching. Yet somehow, here i am in a storm, getting soaked to the skin as soon as we step outside the car. Finally, even we saw sense and decided to leave tree-climbing for another day ... so we stopped for a few drive-by finds & then headed home. I doubt I would have found this if I hadn't been with a previous finder, being so well hidden under an extra layer of camo. Super-wet today which we emptied out & managed to sign, thanks for the cache
Not really sure about what we were missing at this one...? We spent quite a bit of time looking for this one and it is obviously very clever as we couldn't spot it. Next time perhaps .
3255 Today was day 53 of my current streak so came over the Kamais to keep it going. Had read the description of this one before and thought it would be challenging. Parked out on the road and walked down the driveway. Spotted something interesting but proved to be incorrect so looked further along and quickly spotted the hide. The container was full of water and the log was wet. Still able to sign though. Drained the water and returned. Thanks for the placement.
This cache has been a blot on our Geocaching map for a long time. When we first tried we felt too conspicuous and out of place. Today however we were determined to FIND IT. Even though we still felt conspicuous someone popped their head out and waved to Mr S so we carried on with the hunt and eventually Mrs S spotted something not quite kosher and yay, at last we can turn this into a smilie face.
Thanks Mc Jandals, so happy to finally tick this one off. The container was full of water which we emptied out but the log was still signable.

We were so lucky to escape the cyclone when warnings were for the area we were travelling but today has turned out to be lovely. This was a nice quick find thank you as we head towards Waihi. You cant go away and not get a few caches its not often we come this way. Signed the log and placed the cache back where we found it. Thank you for placing a cache here lively area so beautiful. Cache is all good tftc
Went down the wrong driveway but found it in the end. Easily found once got correct place.
Hahaha .. good one. I didn't spot it until I was on my way out again. It blends in so well

I found this one. Walked past it twice, then I see something very very obvious, how did I miss that.
Had a quick scan around couldn't see anything out of the ordinary. I was turning on the gps to read some clues, son quickly grabbed something. "Found it" he said. Well that was clever, can't see how we missed it, seems so obvious once you know. Went in to speak to the woodsman himself, what he makes just blew me away, such a talent, would love one of his wood coats to hang in entry way once my new house is completed. Maybe oneday!!!
On my way to visit a friend, had a stop and looked after this cache. Very clever and really a fav point. TFTC, cheers from Polynesia, nzkeko
Today was our last day in Taupo and we decided to do 20 geocaches! Despite the rain and the freezing cold, we got them all done! It was a brilliant day and we had a ton of fun seeing all of the local attractions in Taupo.
Almost about to head on when two more geocachers arrived and a short look later we came up with our cache. We didn't know at the time but that was our 100 cache! Glad we stuck around to find it. One more cache. TFTC

Have just picked up son from a mates down the road, so took the time to stop in for this one. I have visted the woodwork shop many times before and was quite keen to show the amazing skills of the wood worker here to my son.
As it was still raining we browsed the artwork in awe, chatted with woodworker and then thought we should find the cache here.
As I was mucking around trying to get the details of the cache from my phone, my son found the cache in the first place he looked.
Haha, another clever cache by McJandals and a container big enough to drop off a Duck racing TB (just). Hopefully someone else can help [7 Deadly Ducks Tag - Mc Jandals Envy](https://coord.info/TB80RHY) with its race as I cant do it any justice.
Thanks McJandals for bringing me here again. Am feeling loose with my fav points today, so this can get one too.

Very clever hide your right about the 'sod off' Amazing sculptures in and around the shop. Well done my friend. TFTC
A little bit of scratching of the head...Lol but when you see it gives you a smile. Nice safe place for my TB. And left a small rubber.
Oh my goodness!!! Now I know where the Mc In McJandels is from. This place is amazing. I'm bringing my husband back asap to look at your stunning artwork. TFTC. I took a McJandels lipgloss and left this little fella.
Oh wow! This is AMAZING!
The cache is fun and very clever, a fav from us, but the business is AMAZING!
We had quite a chat to the owner. I don't want to give anything away, but you will want to visit here.
We were seriously impressed.
A great start to our caching weekend in the bay, our second within a month.
I left a glass whale that I picked up from my 87yr old aunt who has had to say goodbye to many treasures as she has moved into a rest home.

#513 - Easter Monday great day to do some caching, i did feel a little weird coming down here, but i thought i'm here now! I parked @ the Daycare and walked up the drive.
Had a quick look around, read the hint and...there it was, such a cool hide i really liked it, just a little different from the norm. TFTC

My.Precious and I were on our bikes (motor), and stopped off to do a happy face. Eventually found it, after looking at a decoy and figured that it doesn't open looked around further and found it as the clue described. Sneaky. I love the effort that McJandle put into their caches.
Note to self, have to make it a very quick park n grab, especially when wearing mbike riding gear. Shirt gets wet under the jacket when the sun is out.

Off the cuff visit as Tiga and I were mcycling past here.
Excited to find it and decide it wasn't.
Checked the clue carefully (note to self to not read more into these things than needed)
This is a good one.

I was travelling from Tauranga to Rotorua and just stopped to pick up anything I was driving past. Felt a little uncomfortable searching this area, but had an idea of what to look for and I was correct, TFTC

Found this ok ...all the water did not make the grass grow...may need mtce as its full of....not sure what but hope its water smells terrible did manage to sign log tftc
Checked this, thanks to previous logs. Replaced container and contents. All good to go.
Felt a bit funny coming up the driveway and parking but we were ignored. An interesting spot I didn't know about. First object picked up looked a likely place but it didn't fit the clue. Soon had it. Log sopping wet. Thanks for the cache
We are cruising around over the long weekend, picking up caches as we go.

Woodshop was very interesting to visit. As always, ninjasqd found the cache. Neetly disguised.
Cool cache, great hint. Doubly worth the visit for the chance to see the amazing wood sculpture studio nearby. TFTC!
It took us a few minutes to find this by torchlight this evening. Mr nzk had an idea what we might be looking for but Mrs didn't get the hint until afterwards! Good camo. Meanwhile a policeman was busy on the roadside nearby, lights flashing, thankfully paying no attention to us. TFTC Mc Jandals! [ ]
Today is International Earthcache Day so as I am meeting both Alpenmilch80 along with Sleschke later this morning to head for White Island (as a memorable Earthcache appropriate for the day).
Needless to say that this was going to be a very long but memorable day (left home at 3.20am, got home at 7.45pm). Decieded to collect this one as the area was so quiet as when I'm normally in this area there is traffic everywhere. Nice placement and soon spotted it in the torch light, retreaval was not a problem
thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

Out on an epic caching adventure with HKCB, iammrwalker and 11hpg11 as an honourary guest and the 'K' in signature 1HIK or HIK1 to make a dent in the caches of Tauranga.
First stop just as the sun is rising above the horizon. Rediculous! This one had me fooled but not the others. It was so obvious! Or not..

This geocache was found on my third trip to Tauranga/ The Mount/ Papamoa in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11 with a plan to clear out the area. We were joined today by Kyb3r another Hamilton Geocacher who was keen to be part of an infamous ‘mad mission’. We signed the logs with an anachronism of our Geocaching handles, usually ‘1HIK’ or ‘HIK1’. There were plenty of memorable moments and a lot of laughs as well. It was another long day; I got up at 4am and didn’t get to bed until midnight. We were a little disappointed not to meet our goal only getting about half way through our list of unfound caches. However we did tackle a number of difficult and complicated hides. We found some great and memorable caches and of course now have a great excuse to organise another trip to the area. Thanks to all the CO’s who provided us with such a great day out.
This was our first find of the day. I had only just turned my GPS on as we arrived at GZ and it sent me about 15m in the wrong direction, thankfully 11hpg11 was a little more onto it and she spotted this nicely camoed container. I'm glad we were here early in the morning with no one around, I imagine it could be a tricky cache to pick up with muggles about.

Another big mission for our little Hamilton team. Maybe this time we can clean out Tauranga and the surrounding areas. Our team consisted of HKCB, Iammrwalker, Kyb3r and myself. We signed the logs as HIK1 (or 1HIK as the day went on!) Another 4am wakeup and we were on the road by 5am. Back home by 11pm I think it was, it was all kind of a blur by then! We were fueled by Sour Patch Kids, B.K., Caffeine and quite a few painkillers. We had a great day with a large variety of cache types, sizes and difficulty! Thanks to all the cache owners for their hard work on giving us some great quality caches to find. We had a few milestones hit today and I think we all had a great time. Looks like we might be back again some time in the future!
First of the day and it we had watched the moon go down and the sun come up on the way over. Grabbed head torches just in case but it was almost light enough to go without. Glad to come when it isn't busy and we could search freely. I had an idea on what this one would be and that was correct (I had thought about doing something similar myself) Very well done and I think it had the boys fooled.

This is the 3rd mission over to Tauranga in recent months with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker to turn the place into a bunch of similes, but this time Kyb3r joined in on the fun also. An early start from Hamilton meant we were greeted by a fantastic sunrise of Tauranga as we made our way down from the Kaimai's, and by the time we had decided we had had enough the sun had well and truly gone to bed, but we did see it disappear while halfway up the Mount.
We found some great caches throughout the day and had some very memorable moments, and I even hit a major milestone, my 5000th cache find. A big thanks to everyone for all of the great cache hides.
We barely needed the torches for our first find of the day, but it did mean that this place was nice and quite. A bit of a hunt to locate the cache, but HPG had no problem finding it. Something I haven't actually seen before, but very novel.

Well done Mc Jandels we have past this location on our way to Te Puna a couple times a week but either been running late or its been dark on way home today I decided to come back here with by 8 year old while the older kids were still doing TKD we drove up the drive and parked shop was closed turned the GPS on and made a quick find of the well camouflaged cache as the Co ordinates were spot on for us today.

Dnf because I wasn't sure if it was ok to keep going...... Will try again another day
Had to go to that side of town today so decided to see what I could see. From reading previous logs it could go either way. Took a few minutes & I spied the difference.Awesome camo & I agree with a previous logger that more weathering over time will make it harder to see.Thank you Mc Jandals, well done.
This was a half-hearted and awkward search with a muggle in-the-know watching us! Thescoobydoos made the find - nice one! Tftc
Tftc! A few minutes of low key searching, and the cache was spotted, and log signed. Felt rather conspicuous looking for this one with spectators looking on, but cool hide. Last cache for us today, before returning to waihi. Thanks!
lol - right in front of us - but still took a few minutes to spot
took us longer to walk through the studio next door to the cach - simply amazing talent some people have

Can now claim this one came down on the day it was put out and not sure how I didnt get it and at one point was picking rocks up right beside the hide lol, Very well camoed and thought out really enjoying your caches Mc Jandals keep up the awesome work Some really cool stuff inside the shop also
Must be a devil of a job finding this when new. Cameo now a bit faded. But a fantastic hide. Fantastic timber.
I can't say why I couldn't spot this one last time......this time I had it in sight while parking the car.
Nice quick park and grab before the workers arrived.

What an awesome spot for a cache, yes it is a bit nerve wracking searching so close to the building but as the listing states the owner knows it's there so after the find we made sure to check out the workshop where the guy was busy carving out another masterpiece, this time an old baseball cap with sentimental value that a client wanted him to carve.
If you are planning to do this cache then make sure you check out the workshop/gallery, some amazing pieces that would have taken loads of man hours!!
Cool cache too, loved the hint, very helpful in making a reasonably quick find.

8.10am - Always a bit nervous going onto private property to find caches. Business not open at this time so soon located the odd thing out. SLTFTC
Day 12 of a hopeful 50-Day caching streak... This is one of the requirements of our current Geocaching License Challenge. We have been looking ahead and decided that we no longer need to hold off on Tauranga caches. After months of neglect, it was time we did a bit of a raid here... With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
Despite that we knew this cache had approval, it still felt awkward poking around here. We were glad this was a quick find and the premises was closed... TFTC.

Once you see it you can't unsee it. Even at 20 meters away! A fave because it took me far longer then it should have and because I quite liked the camo. I don't think I've seen one like this before. The cache however isn't water proof and I had to tip about 4mm of water out. The log is safe though. The bag is doing its job. Even as I'm driving out I can still see the hide haha, I wonder how many people are just gonna walk straight up to it?
This baffled us as we begin our search. We thought we were in the right place until we read the hint and description carefully. We went to a knew area and knew we were at GZ. After a long while search the cache was in hand. Nice camo.
Maybe 8:30am isn't a good time for this one. Once at GZ, I was on private property I believe and couldn't spot anything obvious and I started to get some odd looks so I withdrew.
I look forward to seeing some logs on this one so I have a better idea of what's going on here......

TFT Well it has been awhile since my last FTF I was looking at the map and saw that this new one must be causing a few problems. Did some chores and then headed out as it is very close to home. Must admit it did have me pondering for awhile as well as going down the wrong driveway to start - lucky I asked the property owner first and when they looked baffled I knew this was not the right spot. When I reached the right GZ all was clear - talked to the right owner and I think he was relieved that I found it - I think he is quite proud of it as so should the CO - Well done!! Loved it and thanks for the FTF and also liked looking around at the work done here - it was amazing! It was also nice to meet KmanNZ - sorry you were on your lunch break and had to go back to work TFTC
