Spent the day caching in Hawke’s Bay on my way to Whanganui for some work. Parked my bike beside the road after the one way bridge and set off for some lonely caches along this trail. 3 Finds and 3 DNF. Couldn’t see anything here except a trap

We left around 5.30am this morning to try and finish the hidden creatures over here, the weather couldn't be more in our favor with no cloud in the sky. thanks to everyone who took the time to place and maintain these caches Smile we got to see much of the bay and many great hides before heading for home around 4.30pm strangely opened the cache and no log was to be found, quick look around with no luck, I had left the replacements in car Sad so we added a bit of paper that we could find so will need replacing

Mum, Dad, 13YO and 6YO looked for this cache both on the way and the way back... With 13YO on Dad's shoulders at one stage, and sitting on Mum's back another time; this one gave us a few laughs - but didn't give us a cache!
BUGGER!

I took my bike for a ride down the river, and made some finds, not all quick, down this way. Cheers.

And now we travel from Taupo to New Years Eve celebrations in Napier. There have been a few new caches since we were last through this way.

Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

CZECH
souřadnice ukazují kus vedle, ale po chvilce jsem zespodu kešku uviděl... málem jsem si roztrhl ret při lovení, pozor na ostré zbytky polámaných větví!

Loving the tree-climbing-nanos. Our little boy really enjoys the change where the challenge is not in the finding but in the getting. Thanks for the series Smile

Thought I'd walk this trail and see what trees I could climb to retrieve some cache's. Walked around tree to see if cache was in view. Found. ( photo helped ) Interesting placement. With a bit of kiwi ingenuity and streched arms cache was in hand. Signing of log was the easiest part. Replacing cache was a bit of a mission. Thanks nickhbnz for the challenge. Favorite tick from me. Cheers.

Another great weekend away with tmann421 in the Hawkes Bay.

Wow, this one was a challenge and thank goodness for tmann. He scaled this tree in a single bound and had the bison returned with one hand in a flash. I gave some great advice while standing at the bottom Wink

TFTC and the series nickhbnz

Another good find while away in the area with Just-Lookin.
Bit more climbing required here.
Soon had the cache found and log signed. TFTC

Wasn't hard to find but getting to it was another problem. Old man with ducks disease (feet too close to bum) was struggling. If I was another 3 inches taller would have been easier. And trying to get the bloody thing screwed up with one hand - MorganEd, get up there girl. Smile

Blood, sweat and almost tears were shed today with these tree climbs ! Another precarious hold of Mr Perrett up the tree while cache retrieval was undertaken. Just as well there was nobody around it would have looked hilarious!
