I feel like I briefly poked my nose in here last time before deciding it was too much effort and I'd already found enough caches and just wanted to continue. Not so this time; this was only the second for this morning and it wasn't too hard a find this time around. Thanks for the cache.
After a few days on Phillip Island, I’m heading towards Leongatha and gathering some caches along the way. Bit of a scramble to access this one. TFTC Wal-len
A reasonable place to pull off the main road was found and then the find was ours.
After a false start last week when we thought the weather was going to be unkind we rescheduled with Rebel Acts to head down to Phillip Island on a caching run today. Mind you, Rebel had to remind us as with all the things on at present we had forgotten we had reorganized. We're never to busy to go on a caching run though, so off we went.
There were a couple of DNFs from a previous trip we needed to rectify, some multis to be found and at least one trail to walk as well as picking up some trads on the way. Even managed and Earthcache.
It was a great day for caching, a nice cool 18 degrees with no wind and just a bit overcast. Another great day with the usual laughter and taunts that always make it fun. Pleased to say, no DNFs today!
All logs signed as SKI Pair, Rebel Acts or RASP.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Wal-len.

Accompanied with silence49. Found your cache Wal-len, thank you so much for placing it.
Out and about on the Island with Rebel Acts to attend a caching event and to put some smiles on the map.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Out with Omegaman1971 to do a few caches in the area and attend our first event in along time.
This was one of the caches we found today. We had a great day checking out the many places the island has to offer.
Thanks Wal-len for the cache.

Due to the new Covid 19 restrictions Geo Caching is not a reason to be out so I am disabling my caches until safe to enable again.

Tricky didn’t find it on the way but found it in the walk back, got a few scratches but it was with it
I looked everywhere I could think of. I expanded the search quite significantly but could not find it.
03/02/2019 -- 9.30am -- No. 1022 - 2nd of 2 finds for the day - with dgfb33 (only find for the day) & Geogran1937 (2nd of 2 slightly different finds for the day) .
Thought we'd head out for a final trip before my holidays finished & before the heat of the day got too much but didn't get many under our belts before we decided it was warm enough for us to head back home. Our plan was to attempt to find a couple for 2 of us & one for dgfb that was annoyingly not a smiley face for him & also suitable for his power-chair.
After a short search the cache was found. . Found, signed log & returned as found. Thanks for the cache Sorry for the late log

This one took a little finding. GPS had me going from one place to another. In the end geosenses kicked in and the little blitter was spotted. Log signed and back safe again.

Seventh of our finds today after parking at Silverwater’s resort and power walking this trail. With the weather overcast and a spattering of sunshine we’ve enjoyed this trail today.
We were looking for a place to enjoy a wintery walk today and decided to return to Phillip Island and George Bass Walk and explore this track. Today was a perfect day to enjoy the walking track before the weather heats up. Thanks for the cache.
Great to be out and about on this lovely winters day with Oz Hockey Chick. The game plan to ride along here to the around about way up the road. Thanks heaps for placing this fabulous series

Enjoying the sunshine today with Jentrek1, riding this lovely trail from San Remo to Anderson.
Cheers Wal-len

Decided to tackle a section of the Walk Path series today, on foot
Was pleased with the variety of hides. Most were quite easily found due to accurate co-ords. Unfortunately some logs were found wet and some logs quite full
Loved the pathway and the views. Look forward to returning to complete the series including the odd DNF
Many thanx to Wal-len
Had no problems locating this one. Posted co-ords seemed accurate to me

After much walking to arrive at this cache I was so depleted of energy I was very half-hearted in my search and gave up very quickly. Apart from seriously eroded physical abilities I no longer have the grim determination I used to have to stay at it. I will be back.
Yes we fell for the obvious then stepped back and found the actual cache. Thanks for the cache and the series Wal-len.
Another fairly easy find. Good distance between caches too. When you are on foot its always a long way back to the start.

I cached to the NE of Anderson this morning in the rain so it is much better to set off to the west this afternoon with the sun nearly shining. Another great run of caches. Thanks Wal-len.
Out and about for the day with Mark9375 and Geojill_11 picking up a few caches along this sandy trail. We were almost about to give up on this one when Geojill_ll did one more sweep and bingo.

After some time of a caching low, Jascat, Geojill_11 and I decided on a place, time and date to go caching, we picked the Kilcunda/Wonthaggi area.

With life getting in the way of caching recently, today was a good day to get out and head south for a mind clearing day away from it all. In the company of abl973 we had some excellent walks around areas and trails that we hadn't visited before.
The cache was found in the last place that we checked.
Thanks for the cache.

01/11/2016 3:04:00 PM - Heading out of Melbourne this morning the weather was cool which developed into heavy rain later in the afternoon. Along the way I stopped here to find this cache

We ARE doing the right thing and walking along the Path this afternoon. SL at 5pm after being fooled by the decoy. We made a start on these Pathway and Bike/Walk trails this afternoon and hoped the showers did not cause too much disruption to our plans. We ended up with 26 caches and 1 DNF for the day although not all were part of the trails. We had a mixture of weather - showers, wind & sunshine and not too cold to make it uncomfortable. We travelled mostly by geoCruiser, but in some parts we walked to take in the views and breathe the sea air. A successful day and added another tick to a Challenge cache we are working on. #4055 TFTC Wal-len
Well the weather was not really conducive to caching and our enthusiasm was not high but we headed off into the rain in any case. Headed down towards the island to do a few and this cache was among the few we did today. Thanks Wal-len for the cache TNLN TFTC SL
inclement weather waas not enough to stop us from caching today.
we headed off to the island where we started our finds this being one.
Many thanks to Wal-len for the effort and placement of this cache TNLN TFTC SL

While out and about searching for caches, this one was found.
When I arrived at this one an obvious looking pile of wood was noticed but on closer inspection there was no cache to be found.
I continued my search and a short time later the cache was then found.

Found with MazzyMay. Tough bike ride so we mixed it up a bit by walking up some of the really steep hills. Not bad for two old dears. TFTC
Obvious isn't always spot on in this case we nearly walked away as it seemed to us it was muggled but we were wrong. I enjoyed the hunt for this one tftc with geodude#74
Took a bit of a search before we found this one, with Lilmissgeo while out for a ride. TFTC!
Day out caching to Phillip Island with friends. Awesome day. Great cache. TFTC
On our first day on the "Main Island" from TAS. Decided on completing part of this trail as we were staying near by.
OK we did the right thing.

We did a huge chunk of the rail today, so much work has gone into this, the variety of hides and types of containers. The weather was good to us, alothou very windy at times trying to blow us of our bikes. We enjoyed the ride and will continue to do some more tomorrow, Thanks for the hides.

This little cache was hidden more carefully than the rubbish lots of people discard so thoughtlessly. A few steps from the track, it was soon in hand and it was on to the next, as we enjoyed the ride along the series of aptly named hides, riding from east to west, while out and about in the area, in the good company of Alansee.
Our thanks to Wal-len for bringing us to this location.

Found at 11:54 AM GAFF1.
I was heading over to the "Do the Right Thing" sign, but realised when checking the GPSr that I had to stop way before. I was lucky to find this cache quickly as I had stopped looking under those items.
Thanks Wal-len.

With our bikes loaded in the car, the boys and I headed to Inverloch for the day before then having a nice long afternoon ride along the bike trail along Phillip Island Road. We had a great day and had lunch in Inverloch where there was a famers market going on at the time. After exploring and caching for a few hours we headed to the bike trail and spent the sunny afternoon pedaling away.
We parked the car at 'Great Westernport Views', unloaded the bikes and got everything ready for the long ride ahead. We had a great time riding the trail and there were many hills, some quite challenging, to slowly pedal up, and then speed down the other side. We did manage to find all the caches, and a couple we had to revisit on the return trip. Some really cool hides and some were quite sneaky and tricky to find.
I really enjoyed doing this series with my boys and they had a blast the whole way.
Thanks Wal-len.

We attempted the Bike/Walk Path series and other caches in the same area after tea in the cool of the early evening. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. However the log was really difficult to extract from the container - wide bottom containers with narrow necks are not good containers for large plastic bags and logbooks. Thanks for the cache Wal-len.
Found on a cold dark night with the spiders. Looks a lot like litter to us. TFTC
Parked the bus, then headed off for a long walk.. Thanks Wal-len for this cache.
I did the right thing but it still took me longer than it should have.

Staying at the nearby Silver water resort and managed to con some of the family to come *cough* walking with me. They managed to keep up for the first few before they had had enough and turned around, allowing me to push on by myself and enjoy the variety of hides along the path and the beautiful views from along the various high points on the path. Some challenging hides amongst the series but I managed to find all but two of them. Thanks for setting up and maintaining the series Wal-len, good exercise and caching to boot!
Had this one in hand after a few minutes searching around. Log signed and cache returned and we are on to the next. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Out for a fun filled day of caching in the area with Nut bear. We sure found a nice variety of caches today with none taking more than a couple of minutes to find.
Thanks Wal-len for the caches, the views and the exercise

A cold windy day keeps the muggles away, so with a day off work it was time to go caching with BorisB&Natasha.
We didn't expect to find as many as we did but with all caches quickly found and no DNF's it all helped to put a few more smileys on the map.
Thanks for all the cool caches wal-len

Parked at the view point and enjoyed a leisurely walk to look for these latest cycle track hides. Several cyclists using the track this morning. All four found in good condition.
Having missed out on the ftf due to work (have to save up for our next geoholiday) I went for a gentle walk today and found this one quickly. Thankfully I was not dressed in my usual bright colours as this was pretty close to the traffic. TNLN TFTC
