Another chapter of the adventures of Sparkie and Goldy are being written today. Clearing some caches in the Aldinga/Willunga area. We found 8 caches for the day. This was the only DNF for the day.
I headed out on a bike ride between McLaren Vale and Willunga as I had a free morning and felt the need to jump on the bike. I had found most of the caches in this series previously, but somehow this one had been missed. I decided to rectify this one today. TFTC LB
Found it but the container is missing only the lid remains so will need replacing
Decided to do a bigger walk and try get a few more caches on the trail. Quick find, TFTC

Nice little hide well done. We were riding along the shiraz trail and found this little beauty. Tftc unfortunately no pen with us.
Took a minute but found it. Nice and safe and sound
Bit disappointed that 1st Oct is not represented as that is my daughter' birthday. But my nephew was born on this day the year before, so I'll accept this as a cache for Daniel.
Thanks Lib for placing this cache

Last full day in McLaren Vale and decided to do a bike ride along the trail. Stopped for a break and spotted the cache whiule sitting having a drink. Wandered over, extracted the log and signed. Then replaced all as found. Now to continue the ride.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 181. Blackwood Day 5. After a difficult day caching in the wet, I decided to head back down south near Willunga to do some caches along the rail trail and the Labs around Willunga itself. It was not very busy, but there were several family groups on the trail at times.
I had an enjoyable ride along the trail today. The OTD caches were all found without problems, one of the others was a bit wet. It was interesting to see the back of some of these grapevine fields.
Thanks for the cache LíB

Out chasing numbers again and today it was the October OTD and the Bletchley series and anything else that seemed like a good idea. Managed to finish what I'd planned just on dark with over 60 finds and only 2 DNFs.
Thanks to LíB for putting out this cache for me to find

Camping at Mt Compass for Easter today Mr Felix decided to cycle from Willunga to Old Noarlunga picking off caches as he went. Great day out but boy was the cycle trail busy and by the time he finished it was 33degrees and a bit warm. [B)]

Love it when my Tuesday walking group follows a geo-trail.. Arrived 2hrs earlier to clock a few to my tally. Thank you LiB
Bike riding down this way with SupaOrange and Csaba!. Fun caching along this bikeway. Turtle Out
Another day, another bike ride looking for caches. Staying nearby and part of this series was on the list for today. Tra La Laaa
GeoWife dropped SupaTurtle, SupaOrange and myself off in Willunga with our bikes. Our journey today took us along another bike way through to McLaren Vale. Good range of hides found today. Thanks
In Port Elliott today, great day for caching out to get a few near McLaren Vale before the heat hits later this week. TFTC
Parked the GeoMobile on Gaffney Rd and walked to this one. Searching here searching there still no familiar container size and shape was spotted. It was a good 5 minutes later i noticed only the lid was hanging, how i spotted the smallest part of the cache in that kind of environment was a miracle ha ha.
The bottom half which holds what i need was missing so it was go on all fours and sieve through the dying sour-sobs. 2 minutes later i felt it in my fingers... Yes! Now i can SL and re-unite it with it's other half
Sat myself down nearby on the wooden bench and SL there at 09:44 on Sat 12 Sept 2020.
Re-screwed the bottom half to the lid correctly, not to cross thread it so it may have dry contents for the next cacher [^] All was dry and present upon finding the bottom half on the ground which was a welcome surprise

Found what looks like the old container lid attached to the tree but the container is gone.
Enjoying this series, after Mrs Kookacrew left her Adelaide workplace she misses seeing these containers, nice little trip down memory lane to see these again.
Well haven't we moved on in promiscuity si ce 1902! The Manly Council of the day would be turning in their graves if they knew the shenanigans us swimmers get up to now. What a rebel Gocher was in the day, we hope the least they have done for him is a statue so.ewhere along the beach, and hopefully given him a good physique.
We aren't sure how many Nudist Beaches there are in Australia but it's nice to know that for those inclined we have one not that far from Willunga. How inconvenient for men and woman to have to swim separately as well, we know who would have had the kids with though. There was no mention of lifeguards either so we wonder what the rate of drownings were, at least these days there are plenty of learn to swim places, but unfortunately still a lot of drownings.
Thanks again LiB for all the caches, love ya work. Found it signed it and replaced it safe and sound as found. TNLN

Found with Nicidanielle and Zoe the Geodog. Easier to find once we found the first. TFTC
