Thanks anyway. We found what we think was originally the container some 20 m away from the spot. We also found the cable tie that some of the other DNFs found. Have stuck to the container next to the cable tie so hopefully the owner can start again.
This series was the target, off I set, found all the ones that are still available in good condition unless stated otherwise.
Today I headed to McLaren vale to clean up a bit more of the area and mainly target the OTD series. The weather was crap and not the best day to be out in a bike for 2 hours whilst it’s belting with rain.
Managed to also run into 2ysTassies along the way.

Great find. The lid holder has unfortunately been broken but still in the same place
A good hide required a second look and the cache was found. thanks for this added reason to go to McLaren Vale.
Another quick find while checking of some more of the series! This one got me my first carnival souvenir! TFTC
Today jesswrigley and I decided to park at Willunga with our bikes, and geocache down towards McLaren Vale along the rail trail. It was a great afternoon that wasn't too hot. We managed to also get tempted by a winery stop halfway down, and then had a final wine at a McLaren Vale winery before riding back in the late afternoon. A nice day out primarily collecting 3LG's OTD series.
Nice little OTD fact. Cache was found without trouble, and all in good shape, thanks.

We arrived yesterday in the McLaren Vale area and went out for geocaching and wine tasting today. We enjoyed both.
Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining the caches.
Found and logged together with Swerik, Mikaching and GPS-Wickie.

While staying with friends in the McLaren Vale area we combined Geocaching with a stroll to some wineries. Luckily the tastings didn‘t have an effect our ability to find the caches.
Thanks to 3LG for placing the cache.

We had just had a slap up dinner at the restaurant where we were staying and needed to walk it off. There are three caches not to far from our home for the next two nights. We have a few bonuses on our side here, the first being 9pm at night and still not quite dark yet, the second we could take a couple of drinks with us and lastly the caches were on a rail trail so in our intoxicated state there is no chance of getting hit by a car, it's a win win situation really.
Once we found the first one we knew what we were looking for each time. Sometimes we had to put our drinks down and make the terrain a lot harder than it needed to be, pretty sure we were travelling on drunken stupidness rather than by GPS. It worked in the end anyway and we had all three caches with our name on them.

It was a while ago that I started the OTD series heading towards McLaren Vale but never got it finished. Today was the day to complete it, with good weather made for a good afternoon of walking. With the series complete there was a few nearby caches that were picked up well as part of an enjoyable afternoon. All caches were found in good order.

GPS was all over the place for a while, but after a bit of searching we got it after all. Nice evening stroll before dinner. TFTC.
Beautiful spot think I will bring my bike back to do some more of these next time. Thanks 3LG for the cache.
Found at 18:10 with Olga after a bit of lunch, wine, a look around town, and now a bike ride along the trail. This was our last along here today. We started too late to complete the trail, so will be back another day. Thanks for the caches.
Nice easy find but forgot the pen so will write in the log another time. Thanx for the hide.
Time to take the better half of brisal out for dinner. May as well stay the night and had a short break. So we booked into Serafino Winery for both the dinner, a room overnight and breakfast. [^] Very nice indeed. But having a little time to go for a walk before dinner we set off on the adjacent Shiraz trail for a walk. Bargain. A whole heap of unfound caches to find along the way. And one final one before dinner as it was on this day that our first son was born. A quick find and now a nice appetite.
**Thanks 3LG for this cache. **

Found with NiciDanielle and Zoe the Geodog. Last one in this direction now to get the ones we skipped along the way. TFTC
Decided I needed to go for a walk. It was way too hot today. If the heat keeps up will go home soon. Too hot for a kiwi here
Old cache & logsheet was still intact.
Replaced with the newer style zip tie holder and a fresh log book

We decided that walking some of this trail would be a great way to spend a beautiful holiday Monday and find a few caches along the way. Thanks for the October OTD series. TFTC
Nice found on a beautiful day bike ride TFTC Merci pour la cache Greetings from Montréal Québec
Staying at the near by caravan park for our traditional pre-Christmas unwind . The OTD power trail on our door step ment the GPS was the first piece of kit packed in the caravan and saw almost as much use as the bottle opener.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Found while spending some relaxation time at the nearby caravan park with family and friends.
Azzepious and I went on our second annual trip to Adelaide for caching and cricket. Joining us was muggle Skonos who refused to make a geocaching account but did help on finding caches. Day 7 had us going to Maclaren Vale for a day of wine tasting.
All caches logged as Team G.O.G.G.G.G (Team of Glorious Geocaching Gamer Geeks)
After a nice lunch and some wine, Azzepious and I used the small amount of time we had to grab some of the caches from a power trail situated behind the winery we were at. We dragged along our friend Knapstein who made an account and found a few of the caches with us.

Day seven of myself and MrSmith00's 2nd annual geocaching trip from Sydney to Adelaide, culminating in the day/night ashes 2nd test.
Along for his inaugural journey was Skonos, whom we are attempting to infect with the geocaching bug.
Also joining us, Knappstien, converted from muggle during the trip. (Take note Skonos.)
Log signed as GOGGGG - The group of glorious, geocaching, gamer geeks.
Day one saw us drive Sydney to Hay collecting 37 caches on the way.
Day two was Hay to Renmark for 29 finds.
Day three took us from Renmark to Adelaide with 20 finds.
Days four, five & six in Adelaide yielded 8 finds, two days of cricket and a tasting tour of the Barossa.

Find 5 for the day.
Out for an after lunch walk during our tasting tour of McLaren Vale.
This cache was found as we began to instruct our new convert Knappstien, in the ways of the cache.
Having had a little look around on the way to the others along the path we were determined not to have Knappstien log a first Dnf so soon.
So a second look was in order on the way back.
New eyes, warmed up by a couple of finds was all it took and the find was made.

Found the cache after seeing a big brown snake near the underpass. Tftc
Last one of our walk today and found this well tucked away cache after a short search, have a favourite point for the cache and series, nice to see well maintained caches with many new logs.-----SL-----TFTC
Picked up while out for a wander after work, aiming to build up some steps for Steptember.
Out taking Geodogs for a walk, picked this trail as we knew it was a nice spot for a walk and had the added bonus that there was enough caches along it to get us to 1000 finds for the year. Knowing that we had hit our first big milestone of 1000 caches with the CO's earlier this year we thought it was only fitting that one of their caches be our 1000th find for the year.

Still chipping away at the caches on the trail. Picked up a few more today. tftc
