Possibly found hiding spot but no log etc. will have another go but not confident...!!!!
Didn't find it, I think it has been taken because of the recent logs. Thanks anyways.
Looked around for a bit above ten mins but DNF. Perhaps it was affected/hidden by the huge puddles or massive amount of rain...?
There was a muggle tennis game in progress nearby so a limited look, but no luck today.
While visiting a friend nearby I parked on the wrong side of the railway line and hiked over the line. Nio one round today as it was so wet and miserable.
Looked for 1/2 hours and decided to concede
Thanks anyway

Needed a cache to fill a calendar slot and thought I'd go for the one next closest to home.
I was initially puzzled given the number of items in the vicinity and then put my geosense to work.
As I honed in on the likely hide I had to quickly whip out the phone and stand there for a moment or two as two walkers passed me by.
I then finally had the cache in hand, retreated away from GZ to do the duties. I would've liked to use the nearby bench but didn't fancy a soaked seat. I was able to place the cache back in the hide without anyone being the wiser.
Thanks for the bold hide, goldennuggethunters.

Found by Facitman with j-facit and the other j-facit at 10:50
I've passed this spot dozens of times, as it's on our regular walking circuit, but I don't ever seem to have a pen handy. Today I planned ahead and grabbed a pen as I set off to walk j-facit and his visiting cousin j-facit (hmmm my naming standard doesn't work so well when people/dogs names start with the same letter!). Arrived at GZ and waited for a suitable break in pedestrian traffic to make a quick find and log.
Thanks
goldernnuggethunters for a local cache.

We passed a somewhat empty switch yard and all but missed the not so obvious camo. At least it was the camo of the camo that nearly threw us. But we looked twice and there was the cache at 12:30 with that infuriating waterproof log paper that my pens refuse to write on. Fortunately she had one that did. TFTC

Thanks for this quick easy cache goldennuggethunters
I tried this with 4bait in the darkness one night and could not get it, this time came back in the day with geojill and got it straight away thanks

Found this fairly quickly but had to be patient as so many walkers and cyclists around. Liked the spot - thx )
I looked for this at night a week ago and the gps was out by about 15 meters so gave up today i didn't even look at the gps and had a feeling sure enough walked straight up to it again at night. looked at phone and it was spot on so a much better go. Took the TB TFTC
Dandrews very excited about the substation having studied elec engineering. Some caution required here as two muggles having a hit of tennis. TFTC!
Not too difficult when you widen your search
have provided an updated set of coordinates since I saw so many logs complaining of inaccurate GPS results.
Only one more space for a log on the log book, so this cache could do with a new log ASAP.
Visited a trackable, TFTC!

Found it! After looking in a couple of places, I found it in an obvious place. TFTC SL Found whilst on a Walkabouter's walk along the Anniversary Trail.
Like others, our GZ was a little off but not so much that it couldn't be found. Great cache.
Had been here several times before but always too much traffic in the area to have a decent look. This afternoon was really quiet and allowed me to have a decent look around. Cache found, log signed and cache returned. TFTC GoldenNuggetHunters.
GPS took me to the name, but nothing looked like a cache. Had to widen the search, as someone else reported, and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Found on the way to work. The cache seeems a little way from where the phone indicated, but I was helped by a prior log.
Thanks goldenugggethunters
Thanks goldenugggethunters
Found after a extended search as our gps's were out by 7-8 metres, Omegaman eventually found this one, thanks goldennuggethunters for the hide.

We found the obvious location at Gz but had no luck. Even with the clue had no joy.
After many minutes we expanded the search and made the find about 7m from the cords. All I can say to other cachers is to "switch your search "
Cheers for the cache

We came back for another shot at this one after a previous DNF, and fortunately widened our search from where we last looked. Miss A finally made the find and at last we can have a smiley for High Voltage which has been laughing at us for months. TFTC
The hint told me where to look on a Sunday with a few muggles passing by. Tftc.
Found this one with Oz in NZ. It was interesting to see the difference between our GPS units. TFTC.
Found with OzWalker, actually he found it looking in a fairly obvious spot some 8 or more metres away from the place my GPS had me searching. However, the GPS accuracy figure had increased somewhat and we wondered whether this was due to the much increased electromagnetic field all around. Thanks goldennuggethunters for a very good cache.
Out for a quick cache to get the second souvenir today, my first choice of cache was a DNF so I came to give this one a go (as it's my closest to home) and after some confusion about the hint and trouble with the GPS not settling I caught a glimpse of a familiar object and quickly had the cache logged and rehidden TFTC
After a swim at near by Ashburton pools I decided to go for a quick hunt and found this little gem. Trust ur instincts geocachers and the prize will be yours... It is high voltage 'rock' n roll not 'cement pillars neatly stacked' n roll after all. TFTC.
Was searching in the wrong area for a while until we hade to walk away due to muggle activity. On returning to the area, checked out a spot nearby and there was the nicely hidden cache.
Had to come back for this one. A group of tennis player watching me.. Also seek a hint from another cacher and understood what I am looking for.
I think the cache description is partially incorretly, its suppose to be Ashburton train station not Alamein?
Tftc!! Acting skill a must at times

I searched for a while, I had to google the hint there was no sign of a disco and the other thing was 14m away but I checked it just in case,

Out with echidna44 to collect a few caches. Our GPS had us in the middle of nowhere, so began a systematic search of likely places, which eventually uncovered the hide TFTC goldennuggethunters.
Out with au.fait, we made a cursory search of an object with no success. We widened our search, still no luck. Back to basics, and sure enough a thorough search produced the cache. Thanks goldennuggethunters
Spent a bit of time wandering about GZ with a good idea of what I was after and seeing many incorrect options. After sitting to read the hint, previous logs, ponder and almost giving in to my frustrated dog who just wanted to keep on walking, I finally got it! Thanks for this clever cache.
Very exciting find! Lots of muggles around so be careful, very rewarding once you find it
1st of 3 today. hint not being helpful (not a fan) I spent too much time reading logs since there was nothing at GZ. should have relied on my GC senses sooner . whoever said GZ coords were accurate through me off cos they weren't that great for me. but once I went back to basics, I got it
The first time I found it, I touched it and I didn't even know.... Lucky my partner in crime was more clever than I!
Spent a bit of time looking before walking away due to potential muggle suspicions, but came back after finding a few others nearby and the thinking time helped us find it as soon as we came back! Well hidden indeed! TFTC
Didn't find this one today . I'll be back though, I was in a bit of a hurry today.
Having been away for a while, this one and others have appeared on my very close to home radar. Today was the day for a little ride and search for these ones. Arriving at GZ, I had an idea of what I was looking for and soon spotted something just a little different. Moved away to sign and avoid passing muggles before returning as found. Thanks for the cache, goldennuggethunters. It is good to have a few more on this wonderful bike track.
Find #: 4106
Time: 3:47 pm
Date: Wed 30 Sep 2015
This afternoon Pam had her sewing group around, so I was sent caching, such a problem ....
This was find #2 of 7 for the afternoon.
After spending some time looking in the wrong area, I moved a bit further away and found it straight away. These two objects go together well to make a nice dry cache.
Thanks for placing this cache goldennuggethunters

I had to leave my boring work early today (yay) but I was heading to a nearly as boring body corporate meeting which was right near this cache so I left myself an extra 10 minutes to get there via here of course.
I parked in the railway car park and walked down here.
GZ was quite accurate compared to the one up on high street so made the find immediately thanks to the hint.
I took the cache away to sign out of the way of cycling muggles then made a quick return and headed off to my meeting.
Thanks goldennuggethunters for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Very clever hide. The last of our birthday celebration picnic ride finds . Had a great day- very sunny.
Today was the day for a long bike ride with a bit of caching thrown in. I got dropped off in Kew then meandered through Abbotsford, Collingwood, the City, along the Yarra then along the Monash through Camberwell then headed home. The weather started out sunny but slowly the skies darkened and there was a slight chill in the air.
A quick find. TFTC.

Having watched a family caching on bikes ride off at a previous cache we stopped at this one wondering whether we'd see them again. The power here was messing with the compass but the Chief made the find after a bit of a wander. He'd signed the log and was about to return the cache as they rode up. "oh no, I have put it back yet!" Was met with we won't look! Turns out it was their first caching adventure, so nice hearing the excitement as the hide was opened up as the experience is completely new. Nice to meet you guys! TFTC goldennuggethunters
Sorry for the dalay in logging but have not been well. had a great time grabbing a few caches with Trailrunning and his boy today. Thanks
Out with two sidekicks, Rebel Acts and my son BMW. Had a great little drive to pick up a few. Co-ords a bit off. Thanks
Had some time on a beautiful Saturday morning to grab a few caches and stopped as I was passing through the Ashburton area. I had attempted FTF but alas workman at the substation prevented me from searching that day.
Today arrived and the area was muggle free except for the occasional muggle jogger or cyclist. I knew the general area and after searching in a few obvious places my geosenses told me to look under and found this nice hide. SL & replaced once the area was clear. TFTC!

Out on a cache Run with PantherX in the Ashburton area
This one took longer than it should of as we had to dodge muggles and it didn't help that the location was quite exposed and also PSO's in the area we had to limit our use of the torches. the cords were a little off but our caching sense kicked in and we had the cache in hand

#1603 @22:24
I was out caching with Burge on our first evening run for a while. All up we grabbed six caches around Ashburton and Camberwell, although we probably would have got a couple more had it not been for late night muggle issues! We probably took a little longer than we should have to find this one but we felt very exposed and after having run-ins with PSOs around stations before, it wasn't the best spot to be searching with a torch... but we got there in the end! Thanks for the cache, goldennuggethunters!

Needing a find today to fill a blank on our 366 I headed out after lunch for a look.
Since I had a new cache published this morning and it was the same design as this one, it was easily spotted. Nice placement!
Sat and signed as a solitary muggle wandered by behind me.
Visited some trackables.
Thanks for the [red]

Hey goldennuggethunters, you have spelled Alamein wrong in the cache description.
Find #2114. Found @ 10:45.
The Good Lady Wife wanted to go to a shop in the Ashburton strip, so we combined the visit with this cache.
Once on site I had to contend with an almost constant stream of muggle traffic. I was slightly mislead by the name of the cache (and the indicated coordinates on the satellite map) and searched in the wrong position for a while before thinking about where would be a likely location.
Once my cache sense kicked in the camouflage and container were quickly located. I signed and returned things as I'd found them.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache goldennuggethunters.

I had been busy in August finding 31 mystery/puzzle caches to qualify for a challenge cache and then I came down with the horrible flu-type virus that’s been going around so I hadn't done any of the local newies that had popped up lately. I needed to go to a shop in Malvern today so I looked online to see what new caches had been published recently and noticed that this cache, which had been published last night, was on the way and still hadn’t been found. I saw robinyang’s dnf and thought to myself “not many workmen work after lunch on a Friday”! So I did a pocket query, downloaded it into my GPSr and headed to GZ.
As I pulled up in the nearby street I noticed a couple of workmen having lunch and a few others loading gear into their trucks so I hoped that meant they would leave soon. My GPSr was telling me that GZ was about 20 – 30 metres along the trail beyond where the workmen were gathered so I thought I would have quick look. I was pretty sure that they wouldn't notice me among the intermittent muggles walking along the trail on this lovely sunny day. As I approached GZ I had a pretty good idea where the cache would be hidden and with one quick glance I noticed something slightly out-of-place. I pretended to look in my backpack and quickly grabbed the cache. I then took it to a nearby seat and when I opened the cache I was very happy to find a blank logsheet, which I signed at 1:48 pm for my 32nd FTF. TNLN.
I was about to return the cache to its hiding spot when I noticed a workman hop into a truck, which was facing GZ. He appeared to be on his mobile phone so I decided to wait. I played on my mobile phone, ate a snack I had in my backpack and contemplated how difficult it must be for the CO to sign their full caching name on a micro or nano logsheet as I have enough trouble with my much shorter caching name! After about 15 minutes the workman as well as all the others left and I was able to return the cache. Thank goodness it was Friday and early knockoff day. [^]
Thanks goldennuggethunters for the cleverly camo'd cache, the memorable caching experience and of course the FTF.
