Nice idea used here. CO's are so resourceful and cunning aren't they The hint was bang on too.
Lost the pen on the way over. Took a photo of proof.A nice quick find, grab, sign, and flee.TFTC
Out on our bikes again today. Was about to give up, when Kimbathelion had an ah ha moment and spotted it. Tftc
Hint made sense once cache was found. Looked & looked & as I walked away I saw something & had an aha moment. Fav point. Out on our bicycles. Tftc
Visiting from Tauranga to bike some of the wonderful trails - and find some of the wonderful caches! Tree has been trimmed lately, but the cache is all good. TFTC
Cool container ngl i was searching for ages and it was right there. Loved it.
Took a minute to find, put it back in its spot just as it started to rain again. Tyfc
Stayed a night in Hasting, an early morning start for a ride along this cycle/walk track . Easy find. Thanks MorganEd for the cache.
We were getting into the groove along here, but it's a bit of a hassle going through the gates with our bikes. No problem with the hide here. It blends in very well in the karo tree. Thanks for the placement MorganEd
Novel camo here out cycling the trails and gathering caches along the way ..thanks Morganed for the nice tidy hide
One of 12 caches located today on day 4 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. Found 11 on a bike ride along this trail today. I don’t especially enjoy ones where it means clambering in amongst branches and looking for a needle in a haystack, plus more than likely getting scratched by branches and whatever else along the way. Yes, first world problems, I know! Anyway I managed to spot this one more easily than I was expecting to, and it was within reach! #3656. TFTC.
Really enjoyed this one
As we went on our journey from home to Taihape then on through the gentel Annie to Napier then explored Napier area before heading home again.

This was harder than we thought, but with persistence we found it.... Look in the bush itself
Unfortunately the cache was again unuseably wet but.....as a former Girl Guide and present geocacher I was prepared ! I left a waterproof log strip to sign and ....with my swiss knife I drilled a hole in the bottom to allow water to escape and keep this dry. TFTC
Quick find fortunately, this could have taken some time! The logbook is sodden. TFTC!!
Would probably have never found this if not for reading previous logs, very hard without any hint
Clever. GPS out.
Logbook sopping.
Perhaps a hole in the bottom of the container might help?

Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend. Signed most/all caches as HKCD or some such other that we could fit in
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
This was the seventy eigthth of the100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Another pleasent bike ride to enjoy what there was to find along the way, these stop banks are great for caching
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

Spending a few days caching around Hastings in the camper with the bikes. In the blazing sun perhaps not such a good idea. Mr S spotted this one and Mrs S managed to get stabbed by a twig and draw blood. It's not a good day caching, or fishing, if blood is not drawn.
Thanks MorganEd. One more smilie around Hawkes Bay.

A fairly quick find of a nicely hidden cache before walking alongside the river. Daburns9's suggestion to look high instead of low was very helpful. TFTC
Decided to come here for the cluster of caches. In the end, time spent on the DNFs and of course a DNF rather than find meant I only did one way instead of both. Therefore s good 20 minute s arch with nothing to go on was very unwelcome.
Great find. Interesting container. Took a while to find but after looking low looked high and found it. TFTC.
Visiting Hawkes Bay for the weekend as Mrs Rubbishparty is playing a Beethoven concert today. Managed to get geocaching in as well. Enjoyed this series as it combined two of my favourite activities. Geocaching and Biking. Unfortunately lost my pen about half way along so posted some photos of logs. Loved the originate container. TFTC
Had some much fun finding this cache awesome container. We looked for a while before we found it, tried looking from a different approach and found it!
This one had us stumped til we took a different approach-very well hidden & a great container
We left around 5.30am this morning to try and finish the hidden creatures over here, the weather couldn't be more in our favor with no cloud in the sky. thanks to everyone who took the time to place and maintain these caches we got to see much of the bay and many great hides before heading for home around 4.30pm
These caches make me run further
Quick find here today, cache all good and dry, still put the log in a little plastic bag, as I had one with me.
Thanks for placing and maintaining the caches!

First time looking we couldn't find it. Came back later and found it within seconds. TFTC
I failed to find this one on my first pass and so continued on to find the nearby caches. Glad I came back for a second look after completing the other ones as it was a quick find. It's very obvious once you see it. It was staring me in the face the whole time! Could not sign log as it was too wet but took pic of cache for CO. Cheers for the cache MorganEd.
Took a wee bit of looking for this one. Unfortuneatley the outer container was full of water so could not sign the log as it was mushy. Perhaps if there were some drainage holes in the outer? Cheers.
We are on the way to Masterton today, taking the roads less travelled, at least for part of the journey.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Three days after the remnants of Cyclone Cook had passed we rode up this cycleway from Clive to Fernhill. We are a little unsure as to which caches we found on our way up so beg for indulgence if we have logged some and not actually found them. What was evident was the trees, blown over, how high the flood waters had been and how wet many of the logs were (to the point of being a mushy pulp. We thought we knew where one cache may be but there was a grumpy possum in the hidey hole so we looked no further and haven’t of course logged that as a find. It may be a good idea for cache owners to check their caches are OK. However many thanks to all those who have contributed to the trail. TFTC's
Team Tufty had decided to cycle one of the power trails along one of the many stopbank cycle trails in the Hawkes Bay.
The log was so sodden that it could not be written on.
Cheers for the cache.

The log was so sodden it couldn't be written on. A few holes in the container would help a bit.
The Three Amigos had planned this trip over several weeks we had a lot on our to do list all the bike trails all the puzzles in town except one we haven't solved all the night trails and all the wherigos plus any trads in between. There was one thing we ran out of while here and that was time so I guess we will be back another day.
The rain arrived half way thorough the trail and we were a bit disappointed that some of the caches were missing and have been missing for some time looking at previous logs.
By the time we got back to the car after riding into a cold head wind and rain it was getting dark we were all stuffed maybe we should ride our bikes more lol.
Cut and paste logs for the rest.
TFTC
A welcomed interesting container amongst all the other similar ones along the trail.
Unfortunately, it needs to be re-attached to the tree as it fell out when I went to grab it.

Something a little different here which was a nice change. Needs some work though - Cheers Morgan.
We've had this Tauranga to Hawkes Bay trip planned for a couple of months now and these caches were all part of that plan. The caches of this trail were varied, some clever, others not so much. Some were DNFs and others spotted from the track. This series was a bit of a battle at times, especially when the rain set in. TNXPro, DavidsonClan and myself have signed the logs T3A, an acronym from our messenger chat 'The 3 Amigos'.

Lovely cool morning to have a bike ride. Quick find, unfortunately tie brock, have placed it back as best as I can and my pen ran out while signing. Nice cache. Cheers.
On a bit of a geocaching trip away with Just-Lookin & Princess Emily.

Found after quite a search.. Took much longer than it should have.. I was imagining something quite different. TFTC
A beautiful day to be out caching, and I was stuck at work, so snuck away early to go and check out MorganEds new HB Stars Trail. Sadlyt, the first cache I came to was a DNF! I did flush a pheasant out from under the tree, and going on the comments about it being a good container, I am wondering if the pheasant was the cache! Anyway.. I am sure she, and I will both be back another day.
No luck here today. Few too many vehicles going past. Busy place on a Saturday afternoon. Will be back
