I could not believe the volume of water that drenched this city yesterday, how quickly the rivers rose, and how the streets and footpaths outside our cabin in the caravan park became streams themselves.
Luckily this cache didn’t wash away, but it was no surprise that the log was too wet to sign when feathertop and I found it.

An easy find at ankle level but way too wet to sign. Emptied out the brownish water.

Quick find here today just as the weather set in, could quickly pull the geomobile up for a park and grab. TFTC!
The Stumble's were out on their annual weekend away and Yass was our first stop.
Almost completely missed this one! TFTC!

I brought So out for a party in Yass so instead of driving to Canberra and back it was time to collect some of the caches that have popped up since I last cached in Yass.
Last for the day as the light faded and a nice quick find, although initially it didn't want to come out of it's hidey-hole. It had a little water in it as well but the log was still dry. TFTC

In the area completing an AL, this was a straightforward find at GZ. Thanks team.wallace.
Out Yass way for work today so a quick park and grab for the daily. TFTC and keep up the maintainence team.wallace
This area is going ahead and needed a subtle cache to avoid muggles and that has been achieved. Well done. Tftc

Found on a caching expedition out to Yass with sebass19: from 9:30am to 7pm, 51 caches! Pulled up across the road from the bus shelter (awesome signage and graffiti in here) and waited for walking muggles to pass before making the quick find at GZ. TFTC team.wallace!

After I checked into the motel time for dinner. I had a rough idea of how many I needed to get the 120, but was not confident and so did a few extra just in case (thankfully I did). Headed to the pub and had dinner and then wandered around some caches in town with a torch and found all except one (D4) - so was happy with that.
Was expecting a Scribbly Gum given the name, but a quick circuit of the Eucalypts (at least one is a box and I think the other an Ironbark) and the cache was found and returned before a car passed.

It looks like this cache might be gone. There is a large cleared area where the GPS says it should be....the other two trees in the area have been checked with no joy.
Replaced this cache with the COs permission...after spending a couple of minutes chilling out in the car watching the world go by TFTC
As we are camping in Yass for a short time, we thought we would pick up a few caches around the district with ilook4geo. It has been a very cold day with a gale force icy blast coming straight from the Antarctic region, so we cut the caching run short, being more interested in thawing out and hibernating.
Each cache we found had initials added to the log and was replaced hurriedly so we could get back to the car and out of the wind.
Loved finding the furry little critter holding the cache, but it did give us some trouble as it held on to the lid very tightly. Thank you to team.wallace for this cache placement.

Out on a cache hunting day with goingplaces2 and it was a v-e-r-y cold and windy day. We found enough to make the day worthwhile before heading back to camp to warm up again. Each log signed, all replaced. TFTC.
Container was quickly found but took a little longer to extract the log. Got there eventually and TFTC team.wallace
It was great to find yhis on my second visit. How did I miss it the firdt time
A sneaky camo.
I was out caching with Gliss! and Joolay today in the Yass area where the weather was sunny but the wind was wickedly cold. We had a very successful day finding some really sneaky caches thanks to Joolay but also had a couple of DNFs. Thanks Gliss! for being driver extraordinaire. This was one of our smilies. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches that add to our fun. All logs were signed mostly as SG.

Second day in Yass. A great clear and chilly morning. Early Sunday is always a good time for caching and quick progress was made.

With Dino out in Yass for a soccer game. We made the best out of the long trip and found a lot of caches all over Yass today. Since this was virgin territory for us there are still lots more waiting though for next time .
Quick find, nice cache container. Was very hard to get to the log though. Not sure how long the current setup will last.
Thank you team.wallace for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Caching in and around Yass, we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.

In Yass with SES for training and was happy to head out with a car full of cachers. Our driver basically parked on top of GZ and we scrambled out and soon enough cache was in hand.
Down in Yass for the weekend with SES. We headed out after our days training to grab a few caches by night. With a handful of caching buddies we had a good night traversing the area.
I could nearly get this one from the car.
Thanks

It's been a year since we did any caching in Yass and the numbers have built up again! This was a very quick find and replace, thanks team.wallace.
Can you say road trip. Today I headed out with AG27 to go on a caching road trip to Yass. Together we collected 40 caches. I took some excellent photos and had a stunning lunch. Thanks heaps for the cache.
