We arrived in Surat in the middle of the afternoon and worked our way around the eight caches that we had chosen to look for. There were many muggles in the area when we arrived - one in particular caused us to bide our time until he left. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks doscrapbooking for the cache.
We camped here in the caravan quite some years ago. No toilets here back then. Cache found, log signed. TFTC
Stopped here for Lunch and to find a couple of Caches. Might camp here tonight if we don't find a better spot.
Felt like I was looking up someones dress. But it didn't take long to extract and sign log. Thanks for the cache
Took a good 5 mins of searching but I had it if you have some experience you will find it pretty easy. Thanks to the previous log that said not at GZ! TFTC. last day driving back to Sydney!
Taking a wander north with goingplaces2 and leaving the cold behind. It only needed a quick stop here to make the find. All good with the container and log. TFTC.
This was where we decided to camp for the night with ilook4geo. There were heaps of campers around so we decided to leave the hunt until the closest ones had retreated into their van for the night. Then it was an easy find and the log was soon signed. Thanks for this cache placement go to doscrapbooking.
I am on my way to Roma to visit my sister for the week-end and do some geocaching together. I came from the South because of the new geocaches that were published last week further north from here. I was hoping they would not be found by the time I got here so I could collect a few 'first to find's' along the way. I am also hoping that one of these new geocaches will be my 15,000th find. I logged a dnf here in 2017. Today I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Lovely small town. Thanks to Surat for the free camp, made us stop and visit. STL LAsticker. TFTC
T4t$Day 3 of our road trip from North Queensland to the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide.
Traveling between woodford and Melbourne, we decided to take a lunch break and spell the geo-dogs. They aren't too impressed with the heat. We've been quite amazed how flat everything is out here, quite different from where we are from. The cache was quickly located thanks to the hint, though was a little tricky to spot. It's in good condition. It's definitely a popular park. Tftc
This is today's geocache for my "Finds by found date" calendar All nice and dry Tftc
On my way home after traveling through WA very slowly with muggle friends. Nearly home. Thought Id get some caches on the way. Great overnight camping spot. Nice hide. TFTC
Lovely area to stay the night so much so we ended up staying two heading south on an extended vacation. Saw two river snakes yesterday as we were paddle boarding.
You've got to love the caches right where your camped, such a relaxed way to cache . Tftc
Wow sneaky one Deserving of a fav Geohubbie made it a quick find as happened to be in the right place TFTC
If any Geocachers find our caches and need replacing would you be kind enough to change either or both container and paper. The j of jpgordo has dementia and unable to now do this. I thank you sincerely.

We all had a good look but found nothing perhaps it was washed away in the floods
Looked several times, but no find. Very busy with campers. Will have to return to try again.
A trip to Perth checking out some of the awesome places along the way in ACT, NSW, Qld and NT. Grabbing some old caches and missing LGAs. TFTC.
I passed by a few weeks ago but couldn't find it. Looked around again today and finally found it. I could see something in the iron tunnel but it hopped when I shone a light on it.

Well this took longer than I had anticipated, so I went back to the van while Mr Suelee soldiered on. Wasn’t long and he was back at the van wanting me to sign the log. Only a couple other campers here today. Tftc
Took a while - but bumped into another cacher who found it yesterday. Assured me it was here! Sneaky spot! ️
Slowly working our way back to Cairns after attending Qogm 2022. Did your Fisherman's LooLoo today. 20 October 2022 12:57 pm Tyfc jpgordo total caches now 5946 .
We decided to stop here for lunch and took the opportunity to wander over to find this cache while we were here. Definitely a sneaky hide!

Having travelled through western NSW, the meander through south western QLD has begun. No fixed route, just wherever the mood (okay, and I'll be honest, the caches ) guide me
All caches are in good condition unless otherwise noted
Thanks so much jpgordo for putting out and maintaining this cache and for making taking me to new places to discover enjoy.

Spent way too much time here trying to dodge campers. Came up empty. Maybe come back on another trip to QLD.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 3. Townsville Mega section Day 3. As I drove north from Dirranbadi to Emerald, I passed several spots, St George, Surat, Roma, Injune & Springsure. The highlight was Surat bridge being open, but the water was only just below road level.
This was another cache I have not managed to do on previous visits. On those occasions there were way too many people about to get a good look, even with the hint. Today with the water level so chose to the camp, there was pretty much no one here, so I could look until I found it. Just round the corner from where I was expecting it, but close enough. Another DNF cleaned up.
Thanks for the cache jpgordo

We arrived at this lovely free camp after a huge drive and were delighted at the scene and facilities. Headed over to GZ for an expected simple "there it is" find - after all it is just a D of 1.0 - but after searching for about 10 minutes we had to give up as we were also attracting a few "hands on hips" what's going on over there from other campers.
Day 3 of a road trip to Townsville to with LuckyL10n and today we drove from Surat through Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Taroom, Theodore, Eidsvold and Mundubbera were we finished for the day.
Lots of different caches found, all without any major issues. We dodge the floodwaters around Surat although the bridge is certainly under threat of going under in the next few days.
Thanks to all caches owners. Most logs were signed SDL / L Lion.

#13554 - 8:18:00 AM; Day three of the Townsville Mega adventure with Sol de lune and after spending the night in Surat, set out to collect the local caches before heading further afield. It would be a long day on the road as we added counties to our caching maps. The many places visited included Roma, Muckadilla, Wallumbilla, Jackson, Taroom, Theodore and Eidsvold and on to Mundubbera for the night. Another spot to check out the rising river levels as we located the well disguised cache on our way out of town. All caches were found in good order unless otherwise noted in the logs. All logs were signed L.L10n and Sdl or vice versa. Apologies for the largely generic logs [:o)] TFTC jpgordo
This may be my 3rd visit looking for this cache. The previous times camp was too full to have a serious look. Today there was 9nly 1 other camper here so time to start hunting.
Luckily I found it straight away. Log signed and replaced.

On my first attempt, I didn't find it. So I called hubby to look for it. After a PAF and another search, we found it.
Very well hidden! A fav point!

Nice little caching weekend Beaudesert to Nindigully on Friday night, exploring Thallon & St George on the Saturday, then Nindigully back to Beaudesert vis Surat, Meandarra & Dalby. Had a blast, found all but one cache, and cleaned up the map a lot. 13 down, out of 26, All caches were either stamped or signed with either RC13 or Rogersclan13 depending on space.
Nice campsite here, definately added to the list of ones for the future. Unlike the other one in this campsite, this was a pain to find. Something that should have been so simple turned out not to be. All in good condition
Thanks for the cache **jpgordo**

TFTC. We are staying here for 2 nights. Spitted thus campsite 2 years ago when we were up this way. Wanted to come back and stay. So here we are. Left my non/ geocacher husband fixing the brake on one of our caravan wheels while I geocache. I would have been a hindrance if I stayed. I’m visiting from the Hunter Valley. Left I. May been up to Darwin etc and on our way back . Hope they let us into our state.
Great hide but took the four of us to find Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
Finally found it with plenty of muggles about making it awkward to search. TFTC. SL
Today was a meander to Surat for caching and sightseeing. There is a giant aquarium in a Council building and lots of other interesting things to see Mopped up the caches as best I could Reckon the road between Roma and Surat wouldn’t need much encouragement to flood Forgot to bring my wallet and nice lady happily let me count out silver to buy hot coffee ️ and cheesecake. Must be feeling rusty Enjoyed my outing Hope the bottle trees in the front paddock grow as well as those around this region.
Use your eyes, under the south-east, closest corner to the yellow poles. Blends in well.

I popped in here to fish around for a cache
Oooh !! Under the Loo !! [:o]
With so many muggles coming and GOING !!
I could only manage a quick wipe of the building's bum
And I couldn't flush this cache out of hiding !!

Staying at the fantastic free camp so we could bide our time for as muggle free find as we were likely to get in a popular free camp. Early was the time and sneaky was the hide. TFTC jpgordo.
Took a while and had us stumped for a bit. Co-it’s were slightly off but still locatable
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
