Assumed the hint pointed toward a power poll. Could not find.
Nice street though.
Nice street though.
I’ve found a good hiding spot at the coords that matched the hint, but no cache Shone my torch, nothing. Either it’s missing, or I’ve got it all wrong!
Have been eyeing this cache off for a long long time now as I train down the road and head home this way.
Since I was early taking the Geokids to their game we stopped here for a quick find.
It boggles me that people sign the log one page at a time and only on one side..

Found it, it is in the exact coordinates. There is a pencil sharpener but no pencil. It is big enough to put small things in. It’s in the exact coordinates. TFTC!
You really needed strong powers to get this cache out of its hiding placed and open it.
Great quick park and grab on my way home.
Disturbed by muggles despite the late hour and had to walk around the block before having a clear GZ to replace it.

A quick find in an area that stirs up many fond memories of when I was young and my grandparents all lived in the area. TFTC!
Today we headed over to Concord, taking advantage of the cheap Sunday $2.80 per head capped Opal Card fares, to have a look at some new & old caches around the suburb. Utilised Bus/Metro/Train on the way over, and Train/Ferry/Bus on the way back home. This was the 2nd of 8 finds for the day.
After a shocking experience we continued walking through the backstreets, and enjoyed looking at the many historic houses amongst the "not so historic" ones along the way, and soon arrived at this one. Quickly uncovered a very familiar style of hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Still only four of us going mad in Concord. TFTC EdwardObeid - hey aren't you suppose to be in jail ?

After dropping off the muggle missus and my mother at ANZ Stadium for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo tonight, I killed some time collecting a few caches in this part of the world before I headed off to dinner. A quick find here, not many places a cache could be. My only regret is that I parked on the main road so didn't get to see any of the heritage houses.
Thanks for the hide EdwardObeid.

A neat cache found in the course of a gentle stroll around Concord / North Strathfield. I enjoyed looking at these streets and houses.
Thank you, EdwardObeid

Anominous Sign and I were in the area to collect information for a mystery cache we started in March, and decided to do some exploring after. This one was a quick find. TFTC.

On the 1st Aquilus1 and I were supposed to be first day of a three day adventure going deep into the Heart Of Darkness.... all the way through NSW to Bogan Shire to claim a multitude of counties... but (and there is usually a but) unfortunately I no longer had three days available, just two. So, last minute change of plans was for us go to the coast and go north, and see how we went. I even solved the only puzzle on the road before leaving.
So.... it ended up being a great loop, clearing out the road from Bungendore to Nerriga and going on to claim about a dozen shires. Clearing out an area is always slow going, but we were methodical... No Cache Left Behind as dubya would have said, despite the constant rain.... at least after Nerriga it was more a trip to claim counties than to clean out the map.
Late on the 1st we remembered that we should eat, probably before everything closes... luckily we found a Thai place in Berry that grumpily let us in while staring at the clock.... no mind! The food was great. Frantic internet searching looking for a motel then ensued while waiting for our dinner... all was well, we had fine lodgings awaiting us in Kiama.
On the 2nd the rain was looking like it was going to set in for the day as well, but we soon realised it was the fog that was going to be our nemesis.... it was unbelievable and downright scary... glad I wasn't driving! But, in the pea-souper, we somehow missed our turn to The Shire and ended up near Appin, no mind, we can continue in this direction.
Not sure I can even remember all the councils we passed through and grabbed a cache or two in, but here goes:
Queanbeyan-Palerang,
Goulburn-Mulwaree
Shoalhaven
Jervis Bay
Kiama
Shellharbour
Wollongong
Wollondilly
Campbelltown
Camden
Liverpool
Fairfield
Canterbury-Bankstown
Cumberland
Strathfield
Canada Bay
Burwood
Inner West
Sydney
Woollahra
Waverley
Randwick
Bayside
Georges River
Sutherland Shire
Wingecarribee
I used my long arm... it worked out well!

With GreyHams we had planned to head out for a three day trip into NSW for some counties, all the way to Bogan Shire! We had 14 counties on the route but a change of plans meant only the two days were available so plan B had us heading towards the coast and up towards Sydney.
All a bit of a last minute change but all good, GreyHams had a plan! Off we set, we had 5 counties on the list and would see how many more we had the time for. The new route had us driving up towards Bungendore to Tarago and then across towards Nerriga to Jervis Bay. A good trail of caches and we searched for them all, a few DNF's but mostly a successful trip through with a variety of caches found and some really great locations visited.
The rain set in about Nerriga, light and steady, and we both ended up more than a little damp at times, super fun when looking for a cache in the wet bushes! Mostly we cleared a nice path along the way with a few caches down some side tracks, a few puddles to play with along them and the only Mystery along the way... Well thanks to GreyHams for knitting that one out!
Stopped in Berry for a nice Thai dinner and then on to Kiama where we stopped for the night.
Woke to more rain but continued on North stopping at each county along the way for a cache and anything else interesting. Thankfully the rain did end up clearing... in its place there was the thickest of fog to navigate through, no worries about that on the Motorway with the traffic and almost no visibility!
Slightly turned about in the fog we did end up off track but worked out well in the end with a new course set and off to conquer the counties along the way into and around Sydney. A surprising 25 counties visited in the end, much more than expected but happy with the result and a good couple of days away to do it in. Thanks to all the CO's for your caches, apologies for the generic log, any additional cache information has been added to the end of this log.
There was a lot of people out and about enjoying this area, a lot of people out driving through the streets! Traffics so much joy, so after doing all the work at this cache it must be time for GreyHams to share that joy and drive now I think...

Since November 5th I study Englisch at ILSC for 1 month. After the school I walked around and was searching some caches. Here I found the box quickly.

On my way to pick up GZed when I got a message saying he was at the park walking the dogs with my brothers. That’s a green light for a couple of quick caches! This was my first stop. The logbook is just about full. TFTC!

#1942 came here before work at 5:30 am while it was still dark it had been raining most of the night & it was good that the rain had finished & the sky looked clear. Found the cache very quickly which was good that I didn't get to work too late.
Signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition considering the amount of rain recently. Thanks for the cache

Out for a very early Sunday morning cycle also collecting a few cache on the way. Quick find in a logical place, nice strong hold this one has! TFTC #593
The best conserved heritage street 2008 in Concord deserves an equally great place to geocache.
Our first Cache in Australia. It was easy to found and a good first Point for Australia. TFTC Hartmutundpaul
16:05 much more obvious in the daylight. The stained glass windows on the houses are also visible, there are some very nice flowering plants in the gardens.
#4383- while the boys were off riding to Botany Bay, I came back to where I lived the first 20 odd years of my life. Concord is a mass of road works atm, but still nice to be back in the area. A quick find. Thanks
Nicely guarded. Many thanks to the CO EdwardObeid for establishing and maintaining this cache.
On the way to home detour and signed the log as EV. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
02:30 Far too suburban an area to be shining light nround in the wee hours - and my arms aren't that long either. Better luck some other day!
Located at 3:40pm. Beautifully sunny day for a quick couple of caches after visiting my baba (grandmother). TFTC?
This was a quick find on the way home from dropping YGAT at Strathfield Station. I appreciated the parking waypoint which made for a pleasant stroll to GZ.
Thanks Johndomeney.
