It took some searching with the two geokids - tricky as one was afraid of the ants we were disturbing in our digging. TFTC! Log is damp but I was able to sign (almost legibly) without tearing it too much. Returned cache safely.
Richmond Lad I didnt find your cache Family Connection - Looking Down From Above on 30/9/2024, 11:23am. Nope, searched around but couldn't find it.
After looking and scratching it didn't rise to the occasion Second dnf todayThanks for bringing us here
Wow we are having a shocker today with lots of DNF Unable to find this cache. Looked for 30mins. Very slippery from the recent rain. We will be back to try again.
After recent heavy rain this may have been washed away. Persisted, and was rewarded with the find, cleverly done.Previous log has completely disintegrated. Included a temporary log, but this may need to be reviewed.tftc
Unfortunately could not find this one, as I did not want to spend too much time as I am traveling South on a holiday.
I was caching solo this afternoon stopping in at some hides I wouldn’t normally get to. My base for the next couple of days is in Kingcliff but by the time I had fought the traffic down from Brisbane there wasn’t much of the day left.
This cache had me going for a while until the tether was spotted. Unfortunately the log has seen better days but I was able to get my stamp on it and get back on the scoreboard. tftc

Geo Dad had to do a delivery nearby for a mate so I asked him to grab this one, TFTC Richmond Lad
A two day drive from Brisbane to Sydney, with overnight at Kempsey. This cache was found as part of the drive south. The drive was a little slow in the truck

Driving down the highway and decided to stop for a couple of caches. 4th find of the day. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Cache Maintenance undertaken yesterday. Cache is still there. There has been a bush maintenance (clearance) where cache is, but the people who did this, were good enough to leave the cache in place.
Catching up with late logs
We are slowly working our way south after having a great time at the mega in Dayboro and because it was still school holidays and we had the camper on behind we decided to concentrate more on Adventure labs as they aren't affected by Muggles and anything else that it looked like we could get.
We pulled up at a safe park and were looking at how well kept this area appears and as we approached gz we could hear mowers off in the distance. Once at gz we spent quite awhile looking for this one and then we read a few previous logs which gave us a hint and then a few minutes later Diane spotted what we were looking for and we happily added our name to the log.
Many thanks Richmond Lad, a favourite point from us.

Found after a short search , wasn't what I expected but that's the fun of it. Driving some back country roads hoping the rain will stay away. Tftc
Brad and B2 are heading from Maroochydore to Sydney ads B2 moves on to the next phase of her life. Brad is helping with driving duties. And along the way stopping for the occasional diversion. some sightseeing, and maybe a cache or two.
This was one of those stops. Always good to stretch the legs.

On the way to Nerang today and wanted to grab a few caches - this one was always just of the beaten path and I seem to always drive past. Not today! Found the cache safe and well, but there wasn't much camo around - the bushes around GZ have all been cut down, so I found the stash laying on the ground. Re-hid it so it was not so obvious, but us geocachers should be able to see it just fine.
Everything looks so good out here now that we've had a little bit of rain. I hope it continues!
Thanks Richmond Lad!

In the area attending a Supreme/Leader Caravan group muster, so we took the opportunity to pick up some caches while in the area. Hot and windy day today so not the best with all the recent fires.

Was informed of an accident, so took a detour and decided to stop to find a cache. Sad to hear later that it was a fatal hit and run on the tumbulgum intersection and we find a cache next to a cemetery.
A very well disguised cache had us looking here and there and all around. Fortunately we did finally manage to add our signatures to the logbook. Thanks for bringing us here Richmond Lad. You do know I love cemetery caches. The drive here was so enjoyed with the magnificent views to enthrall us. Cheers.
Back up at Crystal Creek after a few days at Brunswick Heads and thought I would make a start on the Mystery at the Museum series. Searched for the nearest easy Detective cache to get started (it seems that Android users may be able to plan easier than Apple users - or maybe I am just being a bit technologically confused). Then it was just a circuit of a few roads that I hadn’t been on (only had a couple of hours of light) - all caches found in good condition and even scored a few TBs today (didn’t bring enough to swap but will take them on my way south to add a few more kilometres).
After missing a turn I headed to the cemetery - had not read the cache motel so was a little surprised. Easy parking nearby and walked back up the hill and hunted in the obvious spot and found the well sized cache at the other end that I first looked. Log signed and on my way.

Came here to visit my much-loved Dad today. Quick find and nice container.
Also nice to know that it is looking down over my dad and everyone else who is resting here. He would have a good chuckle at me hearing about my newfound pastime of geocaching.
FP for placing this here. It really is such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Out finding a few caches with Richmond Lad, after attending a CITO. My caching buddy is the CO of this cache. On the way here, I was told the reason for the cache placement. What a lovely tribute. I quickly located the cache and signed the log and we were on our way again. TFTC
After attending a Birthday Party at Kingscliff I stayed overnight with the hope of gaining some Smilies but the rain was interfering with my searches. Found a park close by and I thought this was going to be a lot harder to find but I was wrong. Signed log then replaced cache as found. TFTC
Out today with RoddyC, hattzofff and Snickersallan for a fun filled day caching south of the border.
Finally found this one with some help from CO. SL then returned as found.
Beautifully maintained cemetery nearby.

Ah! The first time I've driven this road. Stopped to do some community service a few KMs down the road clearing a tree that had fallen. Got here and wow what a strange place to put a cemetery but what a lovely spot! Tftc!
TFTC. Left a little charm. Visiting old friends, its a beautiful place to remember them
Sunday cache drive down the coast over the border. Found this very obviously hanging around in full view. Signed and replaced less conspicuously. TFTC Richmond Lad
Day Two of our caching from our base at the Murwillumbah showgrounds. Today we were impressed with the coastal scenery as well as the hinterland scenery which presented itself at every turn. We enjoyed finding this cache. After being introduced to the chocolate coated frozen banana yesterday we were on the lookout today and managed to get one at the place just up from the Fruit Platter cache. Nice. Thankyou Richmond Lad for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Heading south for a couple of weeks around Goulburn & Canberra.
Trying to squeeze in a few finds along the way …
Another nice quick find.

On a 'flying trip' up to the Tweed, for a CITO Event I detoured into Ballina, to catch up on a missed photo op from a while ago, and then headed into the closer hinterland to explore. I found a few interesting places, and then turned to see if I could find a geocache as well as attending the event.
Parked safely nearby, and took a walk to a likely hiding area, and soon at the cache in hand.
0805, Sunday, 16 September, 2018 (late logging - 2/5/19)
Cache dry and intact, with good coordinates. Unable to leave a CSM.
I had my collection of Trackable that I was taking to the Event, so will bring those through for extra kilometres as well.

Took the Cache title to heart and looked down from above to make a find.
Think its a bit overkill for the size of the structure so raised it to the extent of its tether. Its going nowhere.
Didn't bother going to the other side as two most recent are DNF. ... **TFTC_Richmond_Lad**

I've recently moved south of the QLD/NSW border and eager to explore my new home environs. I did a 70KM loop today, exploring the coastal and lovely country roads near to home.
This cemetery is amazing, almost like a peaceful, landscaped country park! Certainly somewhere that I'd be happy to be laid to rest. The cache was soon spotted once I adjusted my perspective. Thanks for the cache, Richmond Lad.

A well named cache. Another good view form here. Lots of nice parking at this cache if you don't mind a short walk.
I spent quite some time looking for this well hidden cache. I was glad the road was dead quiet.

T-Tech and I have been staying at Cabarita Beach for a few days for our son's wedding, and it has been very busy with visitors coming and going, but finally today we can go geocaching! We took a run south to Ocean Shores, then sped up the freeway north to Chinderah and Fingal Head, then out via the old road to Duranbah. A fun outing, which gave us 18 finds and 2 DNFs.
The cache was lying in plain sight so a quick find. TFTC, Richmond Lad.

Find No: 5221. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Kingscliff, finally got a chance to get out and about, 3rd attempt at this one, a little easier now than it must have been previously, so happy to turn this green box into a smiley, thanks for the cache Richmond Lad!!
We were in the area and of course you cannot drive by a cache so we made a quick stop and made a quick find TFTC
With a bit of gentle rain, 4 of us searched for quite a while for this one, then Mr Herbz finally found it.
Thanks Richmond Lad

Sorry for such a late log. I had been heading to Stoker's Siding via Murwillumbah and came across an accident that was blocking the road. I realised that I could do a uturn and cut across the top of the hill. I discovered this cache on the way. After reading some of the logs it was a quick find. Thanks Richmond Lad.
This was one we had visit d previously without success. Therefore when we were heading to Ballina with OrionJ for a few days we took a detour to see if we could have a little more luck with an extra pair of eyes. It took a little time but eventually the cache was spotted. We added names to the log before placing it back in the hide. TFTC Richmond Lad
Heading down to Ballina for a couple of days with LHE Duo and we were taking the scenic route, looking to avoid the highway where we could. So of course Geocaching it is, this was the first stop for us today.
It took a little looking around until there was a likely clue spotted and sure enough the cache was soon discovered and in hand. We signed the log and headed for a brief look over the cememtary before continuing on.
