Another easy one to find but I must say MissAdventure3 and I found it difficult to "open" before realising it was just as it was, and required no further dismantling. Tftc
Last find for the day a quick one on the way home from Bass Coast on a sunny winters day. Thanks
Another fun hide, i enjoyed finding this one. The only trouble was that i was so engrossed by it that i failed to notice my sneaky geopooch sneaking off to eat and roll in a very dead kangaroo. The next leg of this journey is going to be stinky even with the windows open. Every now and then i find it very therapeutic to skive off from what i really should be doing to enjoy some time in nature, walking, exploring, adventuring, or just being. These days, of course, that also includes geocaching. I was feeling a bit inundated and decided to head for the coast for a sea change, at least for a few days. Phillip Island has long been a favourite so i hit the road and after a busy drive through the city i finally arrived on the island and immediately felt myself beginning to relax. When i was young i enjoyed quite a few family holidays down here and some of my happiest memories were created on splendid days exploring the beaches and rocky coasts. I will certainly find some geocaches while im here but i will probably spend more time just walking and sight seeing i think. Silver Wine Bike/Walk path is find number 3,713 for me. A fun micro sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Bass Coast Shire. I am logging this one on Wednesday 24 July 2024 at 3:45 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 15C 56% 8 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Wal-len.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Found with icw. A short circumnavigation of GZ revealed nothing. Hummm. I wonder if that is significant and it was. A great hide, many thanks.
TFTC SL - Another clever hide AND no ants
Feeling pleased with myself today, I’ve completed the remainder of the current caches in the San Remo area

We only had time to go for a short walk along the track this morning so we targeted these two before we headed to Cape Paterson. We wish our council area could do a track like this, this is a great idea to be able to be well off the road and either cycle , jog or walk up and down the coast, of course we are a tad lazier and parket about half a kilometre away and did a wander up to these two caches then back to the car.
Thanks Wal-len for another cache,

Excellent Cache. A quick stop on Olive before we rode off to our next one. Tftc Wal-en
Suscoe was working back from Anderson this morning along the Bike/Walk series.
On the bike now.
This one took a little while to get the brain working again.
A very well done cache, thanks. A favourite.
We noticed that many of the log books are full on these Bike/Walk caches, Maybe time for some TLC.
Thanks to Wal-Len for this cache and series.

This should have taken me longer to find as it's a very nice hide, but something drew me in, and my curiosity favoured me and the cache was located and signed. TFTH - fav from me as I like these kinds of crafty caches.
After a few days on Phillip Island, I’m heading towards Leongatha and gathering some caches along the way. Another well constructed cache in this linear series TFTC Wal-len
Cute container and clever hide. Easy find after the last cache we found walking from san Remo to Anderson . Tftc
Accompanied with silence49. Found your cache Wal-len, thank you so much for placing it.
On a road trip to Phillip Island for a couple of weeks, picking up random caches as we travel around seeing the sites. After having fish and chips in the park at San Remo for lunch we headed up the road a bit for a short walk along the Bike / Walk Path and picked up a couple of caches as well. Again we spotted a likely option from the path and upon further investigation the cache was revealed. Extracting the log did prove a little difficult but with the help of nature we got there in the end. TFTC and bringing us to this Bike / Walk Path.

I spotted this container before I realised it was a container - examined it but not thoroughly enough. About to give up and move along (I was low on patience with a long way to go, mediocre phone battery) when I rechecked then signed the cache. Thanks for the cache.
With restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, Today we headed over the hills to Phillip Island where we had a great day exploring the Island, the weather was four seasons in one day, but that did not stop us. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today. Nice hide and a FAV from Me.

Another day-another caching run!
Since the COVID restrictions have eased in regional Victoria we have been trying to do a weekly run with caching mate Rebel Acts. This is our fourth outing, and unfortunately the drizzle looks set to make things a bit miserable. Our first 3 days were beautiful, mild and with a light breeze. We are living in hope that the skies clear and make it more comfortable, but this IS Victoria.
As in the past we will sign many of the caches RASP.
Missed a few when we ran out of time a few weeks ago when we visited San Remo. It’s always nice to be able to clear an area and fill it with yellow smilies

Due to the new Covid 19 restrictions Geo Caching is not a reason to be out so I am disabling my caches until safe to enable again.

Set off for a walking today around the turbines as I had the day off and the weather was sunshine and showers. My focus was the Baxter Pirate series. With the carnival underway, like others the way to get points is to target favourite caches.
Drove back to island and picked up these 2.
Near my park in driveway went to go up to get Phone a friend. Then this one. Second of 2 here. Will come back on my bike one day. Thanks Wal-len for the series.

I am enjoying the variety of hiding methods along this short power trail this morning.
I parked near the winery entrance and walked to the next couple, starting here
Good stuff

As previous cacher noted. The log sheet is like pulp and needs a new one. Also container is lacking a lid.
Fourth of our finds today after parking at Silverwater’s resort and power walking this trail. With the weather overcast and a spattering of sunshine we’ve enjoyed this trail today.
There was some major water damage to the log.

We were looking for a place to enjoy a wintery walk today and decided to return to Phillip Island and George Bass Walk and explore this track. Today was a perfect day to enjoy the walking track before the weather heats up. The lid was missing on this good hide and the log was saturated. Thanks for the cache.
Great to be out and about on this lovely winters day with Oz Hockey Chick. The game plan to ride along here to the around about way up the road. Thanks heaps for placing this fabulous series

Enjoying the sunshine today with Jentrek1, riding this lovely trail from San Remo to Anderson.
Cheers Wal-len

Decided to tackle a section of the Walk Path series today, on foot
Was pleased with the variety of hides. Most were quite easily found due to accurate co-ords. Unfortunately some logs were found wet and some logs quite full
Loved the pathway and the views. Look forward to returning to complete the series including the odd DNF
Many thanx to Wal-len

Caching with ceebee2013 and her two little granddaughters, I drove along the road to each one while they mostly walked cache to cache. TFTC
08/04/2018 - 12.31pm - Find No. 950 - 7th of 8 finds for the day - with dgfb33 & big-little & littler grand daughters on a warm but relatively short 'hunting' trip. The girls & I alternated between walking & travelling in the car between caches with the cooling in the car being a draw card as well as resting the legs & feet & dgfb used the transportation to get to where we needed to be but both decided we'd walk the path for this one too.
A quick hunt was done before the magic 'found it' was uttered. Littlest one decided she'd help grandad by taking the log with her to meet him & then bring it back for me to do my bit, cute.
Cache was found, admired by smaller ones, photoed, signed & returned as found (with the door put back on). Thanks for the cache.
There were about 4 cycling muggles during the whole trip but not while we weren't hunting & only one muggle on foot for the whole trip...bargain!!! Generic logs, mutter mutter ... my brain & I are a bit tired ... we are trying ...
The girls did a lot of walking between short car rides but still managed to get distracted with stones, gravel, sticks, stones, sand/gravel, stones ... but nowhere near as much as they'd managed on our trip out on Friday ... they were a bit tuckered out & a little warm but & mostly happy by the time we headed home.

Needing a decent length walk I decided to pop down Wonthaggi way and walk along the road connecting Phillip Island to the mainland. I only saw one person along the path today and even that was close to the car park next to Westernport Views.
I hope the locals make more use of this great facility than what I saw today but then again the bus stop at Anderson is not exactly the most popular starting place for a walk, now is it ?
Most caches were found without too much trouble with only 1 missing, 1 in desparate need of a new log, 1 guarded by so many Xmas spiders that I really couldn't see a way through to it without destroying much of what they built so I left the cache alone and 1 a DNF because I simply couldn't find it despite logs advising it was a simple find.
Thanks for the fun Wal-len.

After accidentally walking past 'Phone A Friend' we decided this would be our last find before walking back and moving the car to the next parking spot. It was a quick find after determining what didn't look quite right. A well constructed cache. TFTC.
Was hoping for a wine tasting, but had to settle for a cache. Nose started to run in the cool wind, so turned back to climb over the hill and back to the car. TFTC
After spending the day cycling the Bass Rail Trail I decided to wrap things up with a bit of a walk along the path here this evening. I ended up looking for most of them in the dark, which was a help with some and a slight hinderance with others. Cheers and TFTC
Loved the cache construction of this one. Nice easy find too.

I cached to the NE of Anderson this morning in the rain so it is much better to set off to the west this afternoon with the sun nearly shining. Another great run of caches. Thanks Wal-len.
Find #3290
Had some time to spare before heading off to the footy on the Easter Monday public holiday so I took a drive down towards Philip Island without a specific destination in mind. I headed off on the leg along the old road to the island and after a couple of DNFs I got back on track along here. This was my tenth find of 12 along this stretch and I found a good parking spot close by. A short walk, a quick search and I had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Wal-len.

Out and about for the day with Mark9375 and Geojill_11 picking up a few caches along this sandy trail. Spotted something out of place and then the cache was found nearby.

With life getting in the way of caching recently, today was a good day to get out and head south for a mind clearing day away from it all. In the company of abl973 we had some excellent walks around areas and trails that we hadn't visited before.
A nice piece of camo here, and we even had a rainbow appear in the sky.
Thanks to Wal-len.

Parked the geoCruiser nearby and walked the Trail to stretch the legs for a while. SL at 4.33pm We made a start on these Pathway and Bike/Walk trails this afternoon and hoped the showers did not cause too much disruption to our plans. We ended up with 26 caches and 1 DNF for the day although not all were part of the trails. We had a mixture of weather - showers, wind & sunshine and not too cold to make it uncomfortable. We travelled mostly by geoCruiser, but in some parts we walked to take in the views and breathe the sea air. A successful day and added another tick to a Challenge cache we are working on. #4052 TFTC Wal-len
After the event and a meal at the pub we needed to walk off our lunch before heading home.
Wandered down the trail from the last and made short work of this one. Another good construction.
