Something gas certainly been nibbling at the cache and it's definitely a cooler weather find as it looks pretty snaky. TFTC.
Chose to have a day off today, but working from home has its drawbacks !! .. I end up still looking at work and not 100% shutting off, SO WHY NOT GO GET A FEW SMILIES TFTC
MissAdventure3 and I are down here for a Country Fire Authority training weekend from over the other side of the bay. Of course we couldn't let the opportunity of finding caches pass us by! Today happens to be my birthday and we were also blessed with sunny weather! This container is a bit worse for wear but log book seemed to be ok!
Heading home after attending the Capital Geobash Mega in Canberra while passing by I made the appropriate detour for the search. A quick find was made. Thank you PsychoVanjie for placing and maintaining this cache.
Found it , container is a bit bashed up, but surprisingly a nice dry log was found and signed. Tftc
TFTC SL - nice quick find on my way home
Cache container is a bit nibbled but the log is dry and in good condition

Thanks for the cache!
Please note cache has been completely chewed and only a little bit of paper remained. I didn’t have anything in my car to replace it sorry.

A nice quick find today, on the way to catch up with family.. the road was very quiet... unfortunately it looks like a small animal has been chewing on the cache, will need to be replaced and I didn’t have anything with me. Thanks PsychoVanjie for placing the cache
I was out at Pakenham today at my cousins place so had a little bit of spare time so decided to start on this series of nicely located caches just off the highway.
I then took a southerly round-a-bout route back towards home so it wasn't just a boring freeway trip and stopped by at a few trads along the way and this was one of them.
Not great parking along this main road but luckily a quick find was made so I could jump back in the car and turn off the hazard lights.
Thanks PsychoVanjie for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

Enjoying a beautiful day of Winter sunshine we decided to go out and grab a few caches. This one was a quick grab. TFTC
Be careful not to step directly into the water by the side of the road like my dumb ass did. It's mighty cold
Did my best to sign it, but that log is soaked. Great hiding spot though!

Great hiding spot but a bit dangerous for parking. Unfortunately the logbook was soaked so unable to sign
Quick find on a busy little road, mother geo jumped out as not safe for kids too, but logged and back on the road. TFTC
Log damp, hopefully dries out with some warmer days, might need a little TLC and a bag to protect log.
No place for parking and a bit random, sorry. Not good for kids but easy to find as a quick park n grab
Cache was in good order and dry. Be aware that there isn’t anywhere good to park for this one so not too good for the geokids.
Great little hide just off the road.. the log is a little bit wet. But still able to sign it. TFTC!
Found it where the previous finder must have placed it, away from curious eyes.
With the restrictions now eased I was finally able to head to Lang Lang to do the caches that I had been looking at for months.
This was one of the caches we found today. Just found it out in the open, sitting on the ground.
Thanks PsychoVanjie for the cache.

Picking up a few caches today and started out here.
The grass was quite long around gz, but luckily the cooler weather meant that snake sightings weren't likely.
A jump over the muddy ditch and a quick search later had the cache in hand.
Signed the log in no time and replaced back with a bit more coverage.
Thanks to McSee&Petal for originally placing this cache and KnoAngel for continuing to maintain it!

Well today I found myself in the Kilcunda-Wonthaggi area with a day to kill. In my travels today I had much time to contemplate where I should be out caching in this area or not, given that over half the cache have been disabled due to COVID19. I could come up with 10 good reason why to and why not, and it could be debated at length without conclusion but at the end of the day I figured that the game pieces are in place still, I have breached no rules or laws, I probably couldn’t be more isolated (didn’t see a sole), many other are caching, I have sanitised my hands so much the skin is cracking and the reviewers are publishing new cache. Certainly, I would consider the risks are higher simply going to the supermarket, and I could log these cache in a few months, but I choose to do it now. Apologies if I have upset the CO’s by breaching their intentions.
The day for me started in Kilcunda, picked up a couple of loose traditional cache and then parked near the cemetery. I preceded to hike my way along the beach collecting the Killer view series and Cache Favourite challenges. Certainly the views were killers! The beach was stunning, just one set of footsteps as far as you could see from where I had come and a beautiful clear beach ahead of me. The beach and waves were stunning, and the small patches of rock formation just a wealth of interest, however there was a bite in the air that on a few occasions gave my head the pain like when you eat ice cream too fast! I continued down all the way to Powlett River mouth and had to do a little bush bashing near the river as I made my way past the beach house, fairy garden, bird in hand, the ballgame and so many other great inventions. Eventually I rejoined the rail trail back to the car after 11km or sand, dunes and trails, and tucked into a cup of tea, some sausage rolls and fruit.
My second adventure was around the Wonthaggi Heathland Nature reserve, I spied another circuit and feared there maybe more sand dunes! My legs were still feeling if from earlier. A I headed from the carpark towards the Target range knowing I was going to have to back track straight after. Then headed back towards the beach and saw an OWL! And continued on towards the beach for more isolation, more amazing views, more sand dunes, ammo cans (who doesn’t love a good ammo can?), and a little cut back through to the car. Another 10km covered, time for another cuppa, muffin bar and some nuts a raisens.
The weather started to turn now so I thought I best start making my way back home and collected a few drive byes along the way. Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the day, the fresh air and kms certainly was great for my body and headspace and look forward to getting back to find some more. There will definitely be a few Fav points going out.
Thanks for the cache McSee&Petal

Enabled because its safe to find, but hope people are sanitising before touching anything.
We were on the move again today with ilook4geo and just picking up a few caches along the route as we went. This was a nice easy cache to find and all was in good condition. Signed the log, put everything back as it had been found and headed off again. Thanks go to KnoAngel for adopting and maintaining this cache.
Heading for a different campsite today with goingplaces2. Wanted some caches to keep the streak going. This was one we picked which was found, signed and replaced. TFTC.
Mountainmik, mizzone, fadzfotos, and I did a very dicey png here on the way back from the prom today to tick the box of finding a cache. We did it!
Tijdens verplaatsing van Ballarat naar Phillips Island deze cache gezocht en gevonden.
TFTC and greetings from Belgium.

I had found quite a few cache out this way but this morning I was able to plan a trip to tackle a few that I hadn't tried before in Lang Lang, Bayles and Koo Wee Rup. This was my first stop of the day and it didn't take me too long. There was more passing traffic along her than I expected but I worked out where i needed to look and soon after I had the cache in hand. My first find of eleven for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for setting this one up McSee&Petal and to Dvynanjl for keeping it going.
Not rapt in searching in long grass but was pleased to have this one in hand reasonably quickly
All found in good condition
Many thanx to Mcsee&Petal for the original placement and Dvynanjl for the ongoing maintenance

Oh the places you’ll go to get a cache but the parking won’t be easy. Had to drive past 4 times before deciding on a spot to park but was able to find the cache quickly.
Thanks Dvynanjl for the cache.

The first of 3 caches along here. Lots of long grass, a ditch of water to leap made it a challenge but a quick find.
Thanks
Thanks
Intended to get more this morning but the weather was pretty wild. Very thankful to our date stamp which made for a quick sign and jump back into the car.
A loop back to this one to find a good spot to stop. Arriving at GZ it was a quick find on this cool clear morning. The road wasn't busy as I approached on my return to the car the traffic picked up.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for this cache.

Meandering through the back blocks, like Sawtells Inlet, on the way to a bonfire night in Loch, with +Wife and our geomutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie.
After leaving Tooradin, this was our first find.
A very busy road, but just enough time between to search and find this cache.
Thanks for the cache mcsee&petal and also to Dvynanjl for keeping it in play.

Apologies for the generic logs, but unless something needs attention they will do.
Petal and I visited the caches we adopted out before moving last year, as we can now log them as we no longer have any connection to them. The caches now are under the careful watch of my geobuddy and are in good hands for others to find.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for the caches - we loved them. lol

You are spot on. First we solved the Lang Lang express series and then we headed to a Scottish restaurant for our lunch before gathering the caches along these roads.
Not much traffic around today, so we didn’t feel conspicuous. Geodad made the find and signed the log. Thank you for the placement.

Found while out caching with Monch's Mob. The grass was long here, couldn't help but think of snakes, not a one in sight though
Found by Mary & David at 1302. Stopped for lunch at Koo Wee Rup on our way to the Wonthaggi Events tomorrow. Good to get off the freeway, as the traffic is fairly heavy. Took us ages to try to dodge all the road works. We do like these quiet country roads. The grass is as tall as M. Found ok after a quick search. Our thanks to mcsee&petal and Dvynanjl.
Catching up with some late logs
The Drovers were staying with us for a quick visit so we naturally went out for a day of caching
.
We haven't been around this area for quite awhile so we decided to target it today.
Far from being kids we were able to drive passed the golden arches without any problems into an area we used to visit many years ago when we were carting semi loads of spuds interstate and we used to pick up out of some of these paddocks.
It all looks so different now.
This time we weren't here for spuds but we were here to hopefully pick up a cache and with very accurate co-ords that's exactly what we did and added our names tot he log.
Thanks mcsee&petal for the cache.

Spending the weekend with Team Crackers, and headed out for a fun day of caching.
We found a variety of caches, some harder to spot than others.
Signed the log and replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Dvynanjl, for us and others to find.

This neat little number was our first stop for the day.
Thanks Dvynanjl for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

I visited the cache today and found it safe and sound. Found parking a bit scary so had to be quick.
