Logs
Very windy day. Grass recently slashed. Cashe out in rhe open but OK. Rehidden but I don't know exactly where it should be.
Ah the simple joys in life. Nothing beats a nice, dry, new log book in a clean bag. It warms the heart.
Last time I was here the drain was full of water, its now empty, I suspect that's where the cache ended up, I found it back in the tree where it was not when I was last here. I have replaced the log book so its now all nice and dry. Thanks for the cache I am glad to turn it into a smile.
Was not to hard to find this one. Tho the log was SO soggy as that we couldn't write our names on it. Found with TroyfindZ. TFTC
Cache was found easily enough, though the log needs some work as its full of water and destroyed. Thanks for the hide.
A pretty decent search here resulted in no find for me.
It may have been out of eyesight or, judging by some previous logs, could potentially be in the depths of those rather large puddles right near gz.
Hope all is well with it and we can grab a find next time!

Enabled because its safe to find, but hope people are sanitising before touching anything.
We were on the move again today with ilook4geo and just picking up a few caches along the route as we went.
Uh oh! We were lucky to find this one at all, as we thought it was just a piece of rubbish almost totally submerged in the drain/puddle behind the tree.
Gave it a poke with a stick and pulled it out to inspect it more closely. So, we found the cache. The log was OK, it was signed and we put everything back at a higher level.
Thanks go to KnoAngel for adopting and maintaining this cache. It may need to be checked.

Heading for a different campsite today with goingplaces2. Wanted some caches to keep the streak going. This was one we picked which was found, signed and replaced (hopefully in a drier position). TFTC.
While camped in Grantville with a group of friends I made the time to do some touring around the district and collect a few caches as I went. After spending the morning around the. Lei Ella area, I still needed a few more for the day for a personal challenge so headed further north. This was the first one on that section. Thanks for keeping this one going and TFTC
Replaced log after giving the cache a clean. Plenty of flies to annoy you so bring repellant.
Found at 5:12 PM GAFF1.
This cache is showing on the other side of the road on our GPSr map! Has the road shifted?
Glad the cache wasn't amongst that nasty prickly stuff.
Thanks KnoAngel

The cars go by so quickly here. We found this one on the ground. We put it in a more elevated position when left.
Thanks McSee&Petal and Dvynanjl.
Chiefton!!!
Thanks McSee&Petal and Dvynanjl.
Chiefton!!!
We found this one in the open and have re hidden it. In need of maintenance though.
No luck for me at this one. It's not such a quiet country road anymore with the huge sporting facility that has shot up here. I tried a few likely targets along here but the cache didn't reveal itself this time. Thanks anyway.

I visted this cache today and I couldnt find it hahaha. Now that Im home Im thinking I should have looked there and there. Not to worry, I have put a new container there in a more obvious spot and hopefully it likes it up there.
To the cacher who finds the old one, keep it for yourself and hide it somewhere so I can find it.
Thanks kindly, Kaye

Like the last few, have put this back where we found it. But placement doesn't feel right.
Find #883
I had intended on getting a few more but the weather just got the better of us, and the thought for a cooked brunch had very quickly weakened our geocaching efforts. In the attempt to cash in on the Hidden Creature souvenirs we were able to rack up just a couple …. better than none. The cache was actually out in the open so we wondered where to put it? So we left it in the area we found it but covered it. Would be a good idea to check on it's position at some stage (when the weather is better)

The road here wasn't too busy, and after finding a handy spot to pull up, the cache was quickly found. It looks like things are set to change here soon, some good looking facilities being built.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for the cache.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for the cache.
Meandering through the back blocks, like Sawtells Inlet, on the way to a bonfire night in Loch, with +Wife and our geomutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie.
A lot of asparagus sales needed to pay for the massive development inside this gate.
Fortunately a rather quick find here.
Thanks for the cache mcsee&petal and also to Dvynanjl for keeping it in play.

Apologies for the generic logs, but unless something needs attention they will do.
Petal and I visited the caches we adopted out before moving last year, as we can now log them as we no longer have any connection to them. The caches now are under the careful watch of my geobuddy and are in good hands for others to find.
Thanks to Dvynanjl for the caches - we loved them. lol

Again sent Geodad to make the find. The building site was of interest. Perhaps a new oval/sporting ground/stadium? HUGE what ever it is!
Thanks mcsee&petal.

**Find #2785**
**Traditional Cache Find #1939**
Trackable shown in cache inventory not present.
Today, I headed to Nyora and to attend an event as well as finding some other caches of interest to me in the area. Nice to find a small container in what has become the land of micros.

Found by Mary & David at 1308. M loves the hawthorn hedgerows all around here. Seems that the cypress trees are experiencing some form of disease or die back all across Victoria. Alas no TB. Our thanks to mcsee&petal and Dvynanjl.
This is definitely a safely hidden cache, , this will change when whatever is being built is finished... Tftc
Catching up with some late logs.
The Drovers were staying with us for a quick visit so we naturally went out for a day of caching
We haven't been around this area for quite awhile so we decided to target it today.
The weather was quite kind to us and we had a great day out letting the GPSr be our guide
as we wandered around these back roads.
We're not quite sure when they decided that asparagus was a better crop than asparagus but it certainly change how things are done in the Kooweerup-Caldermeade area.
Once a thriving industry with KooWeeRup at one stage having three interstate transport companies relying heavily on the spuds during the season, now only one major transport company remains and we don't think that it would be making any money out of carting asparagus. We did enjoy the drive around the country road.
The cache was another easy find and our name has been added to the log.
Thanks once more mcsee&petal for the cache.

Spending the weekend with Team Crackers, and headed out for a fun day of caching.
We found a variety of caches, some harder to spot than others.
This cache was found on the ground, and the contents were very wet.
We rescued a rusty trackable, and will move it on after we try to clean it.
Signed the log and returned the container to where we thought it should be.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Dvynanjl, for us and others to find.

*No matter how often we head towards Wonthaggi or Phillip Island, there are always new caches to gather in along the way.*
It was interesting to see the work being done to create community facilities.
Sighted trackable: Mobile Command (TB2757P)
Thanks Dvynanjl for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Today we explored Caldermeade and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find. Left TB.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

As I didn't have kids in the car I decided not to stop at the Golden Arches, however I did refuel my geomobile I found the cache in excellent condition, and added a pencil. Interesting spot. Just a word of warning for the next finder, after I replaced the cs he I found a massive spider on the cover. I don't know much about spiders, so I have no idea if it's one to worry about TFTC Dvynanjl, and thanks for taking them on.
Interesting spot. I quite liked this one.
New subdivision seems to be going in here so hope they leave the cache alone.
Thanks

I visited this cache today and found safe but uncovered, no idea how it managed to stay there. This has been protected now.
Sorry for the generic log but this was one of the caches that I found on my outing today, even though I am a younger cacher sometimes my memory fails me, but usually when that happens the cache was rather quick and easy and with no real problems occurring with it. Either way I am sure I was happy when I found it and I would like to thank you for the cache as without people like you this game would not be able to continue.

We made the find after pulling up in the gate way and then spreading out each side before finally following the gps and made a very quick find. Thanks mcsee&petal for the cache, also a bit of earth works going on behind the fence and this one could find it self sitting next to a soon to be busy sports area.
Looks like this one might have it's days numbered there is a new recreation reserve being built here .
Today TeamThommo came for a drive in the country to check out our new place (we are very excited we move in very soon).
This was a great excuse to find a cache or two or three in our new area on the way home.
Anyway we parked on the side of the road while Geo dad watched the geo children in the car ( this road is interestingly busy with traffic) Geo mum popped out in the long wet grass to make the find. She looked high and low and had to change trees a few times but it was eventually found.
TFTC mcsee&petal it helped fill up our day. SL TNLN TBV

# 4 in the series, we are enjoying the finds ....Frightened a poor little cat that was taking a nap in the tall grass at the base of the tree. Signed log, took nothing and left a couple of children's trinkets. TFTC
GPS was all over the place under these large trees, but found the cache after looking at another plastic container first. The other container was full of spiders, so glad reaching in there to get the log wasn't required.
Thanks for the cache mcsee&petal

Had the afternoon free with no family or work commitments so came out here to look around and find some caches.
Successful day it was. Another find here, had to check a few different spots before coming up with the goods.
Cache found in good condition. Thanks mcsee&petal

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).

Found with my family - becca85 & boo09 as well as GemmaSistma & boys on a roadtrip for the school holidays. Sorry for the very tardy logging. TFTC
Found during our super fun roadtrip to Phillip Island with my Team Clarmensma family - becca85, GemmaSistema, neisha07, Adam & Lukey. We found lots of caches and saw lots of different animals- including a penguin in the wild! TFTC!
School holiday time once again which means Team Clarmensma is formed (myself+GemmaSistema+neisha07+boo09+Adam+Luke) and one lucky destination gets to host us.
This time it was Phillip Island and decided to make a 3 day road-trip of it.
The weather treated us fairly well and we enjoyed the many beautiful views and landscapes that we were taken to before caching our way home on day 3. TFTC!

In Philip Island for a few days of caching with becca85 and our geokids - Adam, Luke, neisha07 and boo09. Today was our day and we wanted a few more canes on the way home so we detoured to nab some hopefully easier ones. A quick find here and onto the next. Many thanks
Tftc. My right way of thinking wasnt going to help me with this one. Great location. No muggles, lots of curious cows.
With work commitments on the increase and preventing any serious caching, today Dunko and I managed to get out for some late arvo relief, we had out with no real caching plan other than to find a few.. this being one. Many thanks to mcsee&petal for the cache - TNLN SL
With both Slink1 and I with other projects on, finding time for caching can be problematic at times but we managed to get out for an impromptu caching run today. With not much of a plan we headed off and followed our nose and found the cache. Thanks to mcsee&petal for the cache - TNLN SL
*28/08/2016, Found @ 8:32 AM, Find # 5591.*
While out and about searching for caches, this one was found.
I was heading South today and took a slight detour to find this group of caches in the area.
I had pulled over on the side of the road and was just about to head over to GZ when I noticed a car coming so I waited and waited and waited for some more as once the first car went by there was then another ten following along behind in a convoy.
Once they were gone I the headed over and made a quick find, I just needed to get the Huntsman spider off of it first.
**Thanks to mcsee&petal for placing this cache.**

Actually this was a good hide for a wet wintery day! Under trees and with a safe place to pull off the busy road. TFTC
Great day to be out caching and continuing our Wednesday caching walks. Cache found all good.
On the way to the last geocache hunt for the night I stopped off here. Soon found a distance close to GZ, and sure enough, there is the cache. 2000hrs, GAFF1 Dry and intact, but no pencil.
