Did you know that planning has started for a Mega Event in Wellington in 2018? Check out the details on the [Wellington Event NZ (WENZ) Website](https://sites.google.com/site/wenzgeo2018/home) or visit the event's page on [FaceBook](https://www.facebook.com/groups/590545297801072/)
Thanks to the Cache Owner who has gone to the trouble of creating this cache, determining the coordinates and then averaging them to make sure they are accurate, placing the cache and registering it online for our enjoyment. Without Cache Owners doing their bit, there wouldn't be a fun hobby that we all love - so again a big THANK YOU. For our bit, all we need to do is find and log the cache that was carefully placed for our personal enjoyment. As we log it we should consider that the Cache Owner also needs to maintain it - when the log sheet fills up, they must replace it. When the container becomes full of water, they need to empty it. When the container is broken, they need to repair it. When it goes missing they need to find or replace it. Well..... the great news is we can do our bit too - make sure your log doesn't take an entire page - just a name and date. If full of water, empty and dry the cache as best as possible. Be careful when handling the cache and make sure you replace it where you found it. If it has a bag, seal it. Just remember - the Cache Owner showed respect to you by placing the cache - please respect them and fellow cachers that follow you by being careful with the cache. And if you have a spare log sheet and the cache you are at needs one, please leave it behind. Finally, if the cache does need maintenance, please let the Cache Owner know - you can log a Maintenance Log or you can drop a line to the Cache Owner. Above all - have fun and remember the Geocaching Code.
Thanks for another smilie.

Day 13 of our North Is trip, and today we are based in Havelock North. And after days of warm, sunny weather, we experienced drizzle today, but we didn't let that dampen our caching activities too much.
Nice to find a good sized container. StreetWalker found this one while I stayed dry in the car. TFTC.

#13830. Good parking and a quick find. A nice way to remember Griffin. TFTC.
Out early caching with MacGyverson. A short search revealed the cache- TNLNSL and left as found. Thanks for the placement.
In Hastings for a meeting. After the meeting there was still a little bit of light for a cache on my way back to palmy. Picked this one and on approach realised that I had been here before in broad daylight and couldn't find it. So didn't have much hope to find in fading light. However spotted it straight away. Swapped tbs. tftc
Lol. We nearly could not find this one. A good hide. Lots of trades. We left a trackable .. The Puzzler ... and will log it into cache when we get home. Well done to CO. Tftc
A quick trip down to the Hawkes bay to see a couple of customers over a couple of days. Hadn't been a great start to the day as I left Auckland on the 6:30 am flight (Do you know what time I had to get out of bed to catch this flight) and then flew to Napier but due to fog had to circle for an hour and then eventually fly back to Auckland. Waited for another hour then flew back down and was lucky to land. Meaning arrived at customer just before lunch instead of just before 9.
Luckily got them all going relatively quickly and headed back to my accommodation.
On the way thought it rude not to attempt a few caches.
This was a quick find after I got myself to the right side of the road. A neat hide and nice camo'd container.

Another lovely day in the Bay for a bike ride and trying to find some caches. Nice easy find to start the day with. Love the cach. Cheers.
Arrived and zeroed in on a GZ, after a quick looksie, and not getting anywhere, read comments about widening search area, so hyjynx poped over the road for the find.

Gps a little off but still a quick find for master 10 and his mate. Awesome cache for kids. Made a trade and signed the log. We're looking forward to finding Salem's Secret Garden sometime over the holidays. Tftc
On a bit of a geocaching trip away with Just-Lookin & Princess Emily.
We soon found the cache.
Co-ords out a bit here.
SL Thanks for the fun find!

Took a bit of searching for as the GPS put us in the middle of the road! Good to finally get our hands on the well-stocked cache - a good one for families. Added two supermarket game pieces - a Dominoes one and a Little Kitchen one. TFTC
Stopped in here after a day's cycling and wine tasting around the Gimblet gravels area. Nice to find a cache full of trades, no kids today though, so tnln. TFTC
Found on the 17th Nov last year while caching with my husband during a very rare shared lunch break. Tftc

quick stop on my way to work this morning to drop off my TB to start its race and we are off lovely stocked cache and a decent size aroha and happy caching
Quick find on our way home from a geocaching bbq at Puketapu Park. The kids loved this one...raced out of the car to find it and then negotiated trades with each other. Picked up a tb. Thanks!
Very cool camo and well hidden. Easy to find, even at night. An enjoyable hide!
Noisy kids playing in the house nearby. Didn't take too long to spot the cache. Nice size container for kids to enjoy. Tftc
On my lunch break made a slight detour home to find. A great cache- we spotted a TB we brought to HB from Taupo but have left for someone else. This road is much busier than we thought. TFTC. FTF on a beautiful Hawkes Bay day.
