Logs
Getting to the end of our walk, ducked down (ahem) to check it out. After much reaching and poking found the right spot.
A check while on a walk revealed it is still there. Look under some SPOR in the hole.
Came for a visit down this way with goingplaces2 and put this cache on the list of ones to look for today. No problems here and after signing the log we were soon on the hunt again. TFTC.
We had to come to this side of Sydney with ilook4geo to collect some suppies, so decided to pick up a few caches while in the area to make the trip worthwhile. This was an easy find and the log was soon signed. Thanks for this cache placement go to Brewmaker.
#4161 Second of two quick finds while out and about around Miranda with Rieka. Loved this beautiful water course. TFTC
Went for a walk with CF_Cat_Boy to find this one. Located GZ easily enough but then was faced with the problem of working out which of the many possible hiding places was the one. Initially found then dismissed the spot in the hopes that it would be somewhere else and I wouldn't have to stick my hand quite so far into the unknown. Alas after coming up empty I knew I had to dredge up my courage, remove the rather effective camo, and reach in. Soon enough I had the cache (and thankfully no spiders!) in hand, signed the log & replaced all as it should be. TFTC, was great to visit Brewmaker's first ever hide.
Cache has dried out and replaced. Please replace all the SPOR.There is a pencil in there courtesy of the AEC from the Cook By-Election, but BYO just in case it goes missing.
31. Great to find BMs first, log is a little wet but still managed to sign for the smiley
Out on a Saturday afternoon neglecting the garden in favour of geocaching. We are visiting many Brewmaker caches today and happy to know we have now visited his first hide. Seems like the young gorillas got their container a bit soggy. We poured a bit out of the container and left the log out of the plastic bag to dry. But it feels like the waterproof kind so should be OK. Pretty quiet muggle-wise around here today. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
After chatting to the CO about streaks just last night it was fitting that when I suddenly realised I was about to break mine today, I would be able to duck out and retrieve one of his by headlight. Heavily defended by at least 3 large tarantulas and with my light extinguishing just as I had my hand deep inside the hole it was ultimately a safe retrieve and sign!! Escaped with only 8 new mosquito bites as wellthats a win.
Well, this took way longer than it shouldve, because I assumed that the difficulty and terrain ratings were accurate. And at least where Im from, this is definitely not a one and a half/ one and a half. Theres so many different spots to hide this, and the terrain gets a little iffy. Id make this probably closer to a 2 1/2/2 1/2.Anyway, I found it, and my name is in the logbook. Thanks for the fun
Hard to be sneaky with lots of muggles but cache successfully found, with also a spider appearing on my coffee cup TFTC. I Have done some brewmaker before so great to get the first ever brewmaker. With Nayella87 and Nicole.
While out at a netball grand final set out for a quick easy find. Ran in to a fellow geocahcer there aswell.

After the last log, I did a check. The cache was in an ok condition. All good for the next finder.
Came down to the oval today to watch a semi final rugby league game (they won) and after it finished I decided to come to this cache. Saw it was one of brewmakers caches (which are really good) and his first at that. Looked for about 15 mins and then a muggle kid asked me what I was doing (I think they were playing hide and seek because they kept going in the pipes and hiding between trees). They then walked away. About to give up and then read some logs that gave me extra clues and soon found the cache. Hard to open but I realised I was opining it the wrong way. Cache had a bit of dirt in it and log was wet but it must be water proof like the other logs said because still easy enough to open. Put in 2022 Anzac Badge to hopefully start some SWAG trading for this cache. TFTC Brewmaker.
Ah the cache that started it all! I’ve found so many genius Brewmaker caches and it’s an honour to find the first one!
Log was quite damp but I think it’s waterproof paper so was easy to sign
Lovely little spot! Love all the greenery! Unfortunately I stepped in some doggy doo on the way to cache which will teach me to look where I’m going and not just focus on the GPS!
TFTC Brewmaker! On to the next one!

Had to be careful with this one iny work shoes and suit!
Cheers

No gorillas at GZ at the time of the search although I did find quite a bit of mulch on top adding to the camo, thanks Brewmaker
Arrived to find kids throwing rocks in the water having a load of fun, nah, moved on to the next one
I have decided to replace this in the same location. Let's hope the muggles don't get to it. it is hidden by some SPOR, so please ensure it is well hidden again when replacing. Cache on!
It seems the local muggle kids find it amusing to remove the contents of the cache and fill it up with dirt! They even replaced the SPOR to hide it! I will have to look for another location as this is getting muggled too often now the kids are using the area for BMX bike riding.
Thanks to the last finder for replacing the cache, exactly as it should. I was on a walk and managed to find extra SPOR to hide it better. Please make sure it is well covered as young gorillas often play by the water and could see it if it is not hidden out of sight.
Found cache in water and log on water's edge..put them back in place and logged.
No luck today, we started getting some strange looks so decided to move on. We will be back another day
After the DNF earlier today, I did a check this evening when out walking the dog. It is still there in it's place. It is covered by some rocks in the hole and you have to feel around a bit. Good luck next time.
Somehow the cache went missing after the last find some months ago before lockdown. I have put a replacement in place. I hope this one stays in it's hidey hole. No pen/pencil. Please ensure you have one to sign otherwise your log will be deleted. Good luck. Brew
Now that the NSW Government is beginning to ease lockdown restrictions and we can now travel outside our local LGA, it’s time to bring my caches back into play. I know the COVID-19 virus is still about, so please take precautions to keep yourself and those around you safe by doing things such as wearing gloves to handle caches, as well as using hand sanitiser regularly. Take care everyone and enjoy your return to caching after such a long break. Brew
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, it is my personal opinion that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel (> 10km) and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis. You are breaking the law by doing so.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, I have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find I will DELETE IT.
Thank you for your cooperation. I look forward to bringing my caches back into play as soon as the health crisis abates.
Regards,
Brewmaker

A quick check while put walking geodog. Could not see or feel it in it's hidey hole. Disabling until I know exactly what happened here. Stay safe. Stay home.
A check while out essential walking the geodog revealed the cache is exactly where it should be. The gorilla is still hiding amidst the mist. Try again!
Found it ! Our first one and so fitting looking next to the Gorilla pit where our kids are part of the footy club. Took about 10 minutes and was well hidden. Glad it was still there after all the recent rain.
Came here after work and a feeling of Deja vu came over me as I approached GZ feel like I had been here before a number of years ago not sure why in the end found the cache took longer to open the container.
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache Brewmaker

Thanks to last finder for informing about the damaged logbook. All dry now. Cache container has been replaced as the geodog chewed the lid of original while airing it out to dry!
You’re looking for a small cylindrical camoed pill container. Good luck.

Found this one okay but it was quite wet nice little park did not see any gorillas today thank you for the cache. Will send a private log with the damage to the cache.
Thanks to last finders for the message regarding the condition of the logbook. It certainly was soaked. Disabling while I can dry out the container and replace logbook. I will find another way to keep the contents of the cache dry.
Found together with Threefoot on holiday, we logged as Team LT just to save space in the loggbook. Greetings from Sweden . TFTC
Swedes on vacation in Australia. Found together with LBTW and in order to save space we logged as team LT. TFTC. Greetings to from
Well after a day at a conference today was my free day to grab a few caches around the Sydney area. My first target was the Sunderland ftf trail and after that the plan was to go through the suburbs grabbing a few caches on the way back to the hotel. Ended up with 73 for the day plus a few dnfs, which is hard work on your own.
Tftc and making my day so enjoyable.
No gorillas today. But a great cache size. Tftc

And again it was left out in the open! What part of "replace as found" do people not understand. The rocks acting as camo and the little hole it sits in are there for a reason. So it can't be seen by muggles! Please replace as found. If you are doing this with children, watch to see they put it back properly please!
Once again a newbie has left it out in the open after I fixed it recently. The first rule of geocaching is to replace as found. It should be well hidden by the SPOR in the rockwall. Thanks. Brew
Checked on this after all the rain. All dry, but almost left exposed by last finder. Please replace as found. Well hidden inside the small cavity covered by the SPOR. Thanks. Brew
What a great hiding spot! We loves this geocache...thank you so much! My son took a little something and we left a little something What a great GZ to kick off September!
We found the Geocache!Speaking about the Geocache, I putted a toy and swapped it with the Nemo toy and I got the Cinderella piece.
Nicely tucked away - don’t think this one will be muggled again. The good thing is you can stay fairly hidden while retrieving. Swapped item - left a lion king, should make a child happy! TFTC
The Gorilla is back in play. Hidden in same location with extra SPOR. Please ensure it remains completely out of sight when replacing cache. Good luck. Happy hunting! Brew
Yes. Cache has been removed by muggles who have had a party here recently. Recovered cache from the creek. Will replace soon.
#258 - sort of. This one has definitely seen happier days; we've got a lid, a container, and the geocache notice scattered amongst the drain. CO has been notified, will come back once it's fixed to sign properly
Found, but sadly cache has been destroyed. Have messaged Brewmaker to let him know, but if you're looking for it now it's not there ️
Found it but looked like a goblin walking around near the drain lol
Thanks for the fun find!
Thanks for the fun find!
This was harder than expected! It's definitely there though. Box is wet inside but log book is dry (as long as it stays in ziplock bag). TFTC
In response to the DNFs lately - it is definitely there! I happened to have checked it this morning while out walking the geodog and the hide is really not that difficult compared to many of my later ones (this was my first). Look for the SPOR (suspicious pile of rocks) about chest height, in a crevice down by the water, along the rock wall to the right of the drain (now that is as specific hint as I could make it) if you're a novice.
On a walk with geodog and thought I'd pass by and have a look. Glad I did as it was completely out in the open waiting to be muggled! With the rock camo nowhere to be seen. Looks like the last finder got lazy! It is meant to be hidden in it's hole! And covered with a rock. Please return as found everyone. Brew
Cool spot. I used to play here as a kid when my sister would play netball TFTC
Gurgle gurgle and the hum of early morning cars. It's a nice suburb here. All the lawns are mown. Tftc.
Having been up near Ryde in recent days i decided to head down this way to pick up a few caches.
After reaching the GZ and praying the clouds hold off on their rain i was able to find the cache with only a minute of searching. The placement and camo were appropriate for the site.
I ended up dropping off the trackable Saf-t-Man's "The Helping Hand" which i had picked up a couple of days ago.
Thanks Brewmaker.
