We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun but only the top of the cache is still there. Thanks for placing the cache.
Log is all mangled but found a spot to share, no paper to replace it with, sorry. TFTC
There is a strange guy following us down the path. why is he there? Why is he matching our speed? has anyone else noticed him? All these thoughts were swurling through my head as Onawe and Mr Beconaze were locating and signing the log for the cache.
We groaned when we first saw Haylee's Steps, but fortunately the cache was a quick easy find with JuJu54. TFTC
I've had some bad experiences with 'steps' like this, as I'm sure others have too... so I was very pleased to be able to spot the cache straight away. Another stunning Akaroa view. GLB1721 TFTC (4111)
A day trip in Akaroa. Cache no. 3. Easy find, no muggles and a nice little beach. TFTC and greetings from Finland! Btw: the logbook is not feeling very well.
I got my wires crossed a bit here but I soon sorted it out once I took more notice of what my GPSr was telling me. TFTC, FastFrames and Haylee.
Great location, my first time along this pathway. A few hide options here but very accurate coordinates narrowed down the search. Cache could do with a new waterproof log, but it is ok for now. Left a TB hanging here for the next person. TFTC
We continued our walk and arrived at the steps.
Looked in a couple of spots before locating the container.
Signed the log.
Thanks for this hide, from Cairns in Australia.

Enjoyed the walk around the water's edge grabbing a few caches along the way. Spend several minutes looking in the wrong places on this one before having an "aha" moment. Greetings from Virginia USA. TFTC
Quick find. Thanks for hiding and greetings from Germany!

Visiting Akaroa, we stayed at the camp ground and I went jogging in the morning. All Caches on my way were pretty good to be found. TFTC GeckoJJ from Frankfurt, Germany
We headed straight to the steps, then a check of the GPS had us reassessing where we should be and sure enough spotted the cache quickly. Found with debsnz

Mum and me had a day to go caching - baby was with hubby, so no hold ups - just lots of caches was the plan for the day!!! And luckily we mainly succeeded in getting quite a few off the map! I think the final count was about 40, which is decent given that big days are getting tougher & tougher with the ones near home being pretty spaced out!
This one took forever! Got there though in the end.
TFTC!!

Out for a day's caching with daughter, never mind the freezing temperatures at the early start, icy roads, and a bit of precipitation that did not promise a very nice day! It even got sunny at certain points during the day [^] We had great fun and visited some amazing spots in the process!!! Thanks to all CO's for placing great caches for us to find!!!
I was originally searching in a very wrong place that the gps took me to and it seemed to fit with the rating, but I soon ended up where I was supposed to be!

Day #2 of our Banks Peninsula weekend, and the plan is to find a few more caches in Akaroa before heading back to Chch via the Summit Rd. Unfortunately low cloud on the tops made visibility very poor, so for safety sake, and because it was very unpleasant, we changed plans once we reached the Okains Bay turn off. Will have to return in finer weather to complete the Summit Rd circuit.
We spotted some steps from "Cache to cache more" and thought that these were the steps referred to, but once we reached GZ, and read the cache page properly, realised the steps we wanted were for giants! GPSr lead us straight to the cache for a quick find. TFTC.

#14317. We decided to take a few hundred steps to reach this cache on foot. The path was pretty quiet (just a couple of muggles) and the cache was soon located. TFTC.
Still enjoying the company of @Isnail and Sammi this morning as we continue to hunt down caches.TFTC//
Two days in Arakoa before going back home, a wonderful stay : blue sky, relax and geocaching. We enjoyed the walk around the water’s edge, grapping the caches. We spent some time looking in the wrong places before having the « I got it » !!! Thanks for the cache.
Found with cab165 on a trip to Akaroa. Nice view from here- we had a lovely opportunity to soak it in while a large grey dog walked past and kept an eye on us... TFTC
After a short visit in Christchurch we drove to Akaroa. This was the first find there and an easy one thanks to the hint. Merci pour le cache
What a relief to find this after 3 misses while off The Radiance of The Seas. tftc.
Its getting dark and we still need to find 2 caches to reach 1000. clever hide, tftc
I have been in New Zealand alone 25 years ago.
This time i visited down under again with my wife.
We also visited our daughters which were here for 7 months for work and travel.
On our way north, we stopped at Akaroa and found the box in his hidden place.
Thank you very much for this cache and many greetings from Germany.

We were looking in the wrong area for a while, then just when we decided we needed to get going, we spotted it.
Thanks for setting up this cache Fast Frames. Great place for a cache.

On the last few days of our trip to New Zealand, Akaroa in sunshine is a grand finale. Thank you Fast frames for placing these caches.
Sailed into port aboard the Emerald Princess and decided to explore this charming town and seek out a few caches. Shoppers we are not. Thanks for hiding this fun cache.
I thought this was going to be harder than it was when I saw where the cache was going to be. Thankfully it was a quick find. TFTC
SisterCorny travelling Asia and Oceania for four month, now in New Zealand.
Our last full day in NZ before heading to OZ tomorrow... We drove from CHC to Akaroa to get some more great views, nice landscape and of course some more caches.
We prepared ourselves for a T2.5 and ended up with 1.5... OK, nice place and TFTC anyhow!

We have spent the day in Akaroa and after a morning dolphin watching we have waited for some of the heat of the day to go before attempting the caches in this area.
A very nicely placed cache at which we did not do as you are supposed to do and wasted a lot of time in going to where we thought. TFTC

Haylee must have long legs! Quick find on a day out in Akaroa taking in the warmth after a couple of months in Antarctica. tftc
I managed to find this cache today whilst visiting from Brisbane, Australia via The Legend of The Seas ship. TFTC!
I'm told these kinds of walls are significantly cheaper than most types of heavy high retaining walls. And a trick is to use fancy stones at the front face and the cheapest fill for the back.
Ui.
After recognizing the "steps" I was afraid it could be a long search but fortunately it was a good hint and a good hide.
Thanks for that little one and best regards from Germany

25/02/17 - Just got back to UK after 6 weeks in New Zealand during which time I found just over 500 caches. I'd didn't get time to log them all at the time so catching up now. Quickly spotted. TFTC
Team JeJeBuK - Injeanious, jess.daphne, the Burnsy, and our muggle friend Kurt - decided to go on a New Years excursion to Akaroa. We had a great trip and managed to pick up a few caches on the way. I thought I knew where the cache would be but somehow over looked it during my first look. Tftc.
My mission is my first 3 day tramp on Stewart Island. The Seagnoid has Xmas off so we are off on an epic adventure with Zara around the South Island. Zara stays put at Little River, so with trusty steed Toby, the Seagnoid navigating via phone & scribe and I delegated to log blogger and driver, we are off to explore Akaroa.
OK a wall with unlimited possibilities. But thankfully this proved to be an easy find. Cheers

TaybeeDragon and I are off for a three day walk on Stewart Island. But we have a camper, so once you add in getting there and back, it's a three week trip. Day 3: Akaroa to Akaroa.
A cache in Canterbury tought me a new word - Wall-Crawling. Which applies here. There is one in Kaikoura that I have visited twice and spent 1.5 man-hours at and still not found. Thank fully this one as easy, although I will admit to using the hint.

Finally vacation and time for the trip 'down under' to Australia and New Zealand via China. We’re expecting to see a lot of different animals and flowers and also hope to find nice caches and meet other geocachers during our journey.

Last of eight caches in Akaroa and nearby over the weekend. Starting to head back home and stopped for this one. Stumped for a brief moment or two before spotting it. #1308. TFTC.
I saw the steps and went- oh no but the co had indicated the right degree of difficulty and there it was. Soothing with the water. Tftc
Thanks Haylee. Your cache gave our international geocaching adventures some much needed success.
#154. Nice easy park .n. grab heading out of Akaroa. Good hint. Cache a little damp, but signable. Tftc!
First we thought Oh No, please not one of these caches. It was not and a quick find. TFTC
After searching in the right spot 3-4 times I finally found what I was looking for. TFTC
