Out for a caching adventure with Tangent goat and little goat while little goat had a nap in the car! Thanks for the cache!
Due to having to entertain the Grandkids today, we decided a trip to Creswick caching was the order of the day. We found More interesting history to explore but the rain moved in and we decided to call it quits for the day. Tftc. Weve had heaps of fun today.
Spotted this series a while ago and have finally made the trip out.Great spot here - TFTC
Ah! Farm gate fanciers will recognize this gate. Is that the remains of a quartz crushing battery? All good at GZ. TFTC SL TN LN
Quick find here today, cache is all goodThis week I decided to head to Victoria for a few days to target finishing off the Ballarat Geotour and also find the new series in St Arnaud, anything else was a bonus. I ended up finding a little over 300 caches plus a tonne of ad labs along the way. Thanks for the cache
Another day out on the series and after a DNF to start, things got back on track and this one was found without issue. Log signed and off for the next one.
Thanks Saint.Anthony....cache all good.

First week out after lockdown number 2. Spending time in creswick gold detecting and caching. Beautiful area.
A big mound from the mining to view at this location. Great fun exploring the countryside. Quick find - thanks for the hide!

It was great to be back in the area caching and catching up my buddy Rebel Acts.
So many new caches online around Ballarat and Creswick since the last time I was up this way, and awesome to see some lab caches here as well.
Cheers Saint Anthony for the caches and the fun weekend

I had a few days off so plans were made to catch up with omegaman1971 and do some caching around the Ballarat and Creswick areas, We had a great time finding caches in the area and learning about the history of the region. The weather was a little cold but bearable.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.

A cache to tell the story of history with great cache notes .
There are so many mines in this area and wonder where the nearest piece of gold is .

Found by Team Ladava on our first day dedicated to caching without any thought of work tomorrow following my recent retirement.
We celebrated by returning to this wonderful series featuring the early goldmining operations in the Creswick to Clunes area and why wouldn’t you with accurate coordinates, extensive information on the cache page, comprehensive hints and today, a 100% find ratio.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.

Our thanks to Saint.Anthony for the cache and bringing us to this location.

Went out for the day and found this one as NicNaxs with PapaGrouch and ScifiRulz. TFTC.
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch and Dippa46. A quick stop on the way past to get some other caches. TFTC
We arrived from NZ yesterday evening to spend a couple of nights in Daylesford. It’s been just over 3 years ago since we were last here, and it’s good to be back.
With the two hour time difference I was awake early this morning so I decided to get full use out of the rental car and headed out to re-acquaint myself with the area, and find a few caches along the way. Despite the drizzly weather I spent a most enjoyable couple of hours re-discovering the country roads I remembered quite well from last time. Some of the caches I remember finding last time have gone, but there were certainly lots of new ones to look for.
Cheers and TFTC

Had an early start this morning so I choose the CDLGM PT today. All caches were found quickly and were OK. TFTC
After lunch in Creswick I ventured out to Creswick-Lawrence road to check out some of the old gold mines in the area. Cache found - all good.
Away for a long weekend of caching with Freddo and Four Fun.
Over 300 caches in 4 days means that the logs will be mainly generic.
The main target of our mission was to finish off the Mt Disappointment series. We achieved our target along with other caches as we headed east and then west.
My apologies for the generic logs.

Away for an extended long weekend of caching with Freddo and Team Waldron.
The main target was the Dad's Driving Series, and it was definately a fun exercise collecting the series but with that completed we focused on some other caches and making our way back to SA, very slowly [^]
This was one of the fun stops along the way
Cheers & TFTH Saint.Anthony

Logging a find as part of the 4FW crew for this interesting series. A lot of work has gone into putting this series together. All caches were found and logged on a beautiful day.
Love that caching makes these sites important for a whole different reason. Thanks for the cache.
Just piles of dirt, that's what I would have thought about these had it not been for geocaching. But so much more. Kez had the find on this one. Hmmm Find # 989. Something I dreamed of when I started 3 years ago but we are doing it

Out today on a road trip with Mrs Papi4506 & 4B Ninjas.
We made sure to say hi to the sheep.

Checked cache and dried out log. Changed container for airtight closure. All good to go.
What a lovely bright cache container. Rabbits obviously like the area near GZ as there is plenty of proof of it ++! Thanks for the photo of a working mine. It must have been a sight to behold especially with so many in this area.

#14137. Day 3 touring the area around Creswick with Robmc. Back through Miners Rest to Creswick and a visit to the CBRR series and the CDLGM series and then off to Mt Beckworth to finish the day. Ballarat weather was kind to us today, no gale force winds and plenty of sunshine - very nice.
Now getting into the series proper. So many mullock heaps and remnants. Even the signs look like they have seen better days. Since Rob looked at this series it seems to have grown very recently with the publication of new ones in January.
We had to do a spot of maintenance here. The log sheet was wet and manky so we removed it and left a new sheet in a fresh plastic bag. The TB placed in here two years ago is no longer in the cache and needs to be marked as 'Missing' to remove it from the inventory.
Thanks Saint.Anthony

The third day in Ballarat and surrounds with BettyBoo3747.
Today we went to Creswick and tackled the CBRR and CDLGM series and any others we passed. We then travelled across to Mt Beckworth for a few challenges.
We had read about the mines north of Creswick, but until you travel around and look at all the locations I don't think we really grasped the size of the operations.
Interesting descriptions of the mines, thanks for than.
Most of the caches were in good condition (BB listed maintenance)
Thanks for an interesting afternoon, Robmc.

Out with Youban for a morning cache run. Found quickly. Log very damp. Needs maintenance. Tftc!!!
Another soggy log which I couldn't sign and had no replacements. A good cache. Thanks Saint.Anthony
