I thought I would spend some time doing a grid search. Using clue ans obvious hides looking up and down in and under reading older logs. No Cache. Can CO please check if its still there?
As I'm blasting up the Kingaroy-Cooyar Road with oz_bean_counter, she commented she wanted to avenge a DNF here today. So we made a stop.
We would spend quite a while here poking at most things within about a twenty metre radius. Three sets of eyes, but no geocache to be found.
Someone driving by (I assume a geocacher) shouted "It's still there". I'm not sure in hindsight I believe them, though.
I'm just not convinced there's a D1.5 here anymore.

This one got the better of me - again!
Can previous finders or the CO confirm if the hint is still valid?

Out on a caching adventure day with Mrs Wombles today, we stopped to make a find here in Tarong. We searched around for a while until I finally spotted a flash of a familiar colour under some rather dead camo which was way too small to be a tree! All signed and returned and off to our next adventure. Tftc Fisher Clan
@stortigirls and I were headed out towards Nanango with no real plan, a bit of a comparison of maps and a few caches to try for.
We decided to try for the older cache in Tarong forest so a few to pick up along the way.
Stortigirls spotted this one, a bit of a tricky hide to spot.

Sunday. OBC and Mrs SP thought we’d stopped by and collect this cache whilst on the way to the nearby to an old cache. We both looked and poked and prodded but came up empty handed. Checked the hint and found an obvious spot where the cache should have been. Oh well, maybe next time. Could have been a case of cache blindness, as we’d walked 26.3km the previous day and were still a bit out of it.
This was the only DNF log on today's trip.
Thanks ***Fisher Clan*** for showing us this place. Hopefully we will be back!

Beadling down the back roads on way to Cooyar to drop off some stuff. All good here
Nice drive through here, ditch the highway and shoot the breeze
That’s it for now but heaps more to find out this way. Promised a bag of grass clippings to a friend for her chooks, so need to get raking before dark.

Hi there Fisher Clan.
We have based ourselves in Nanango for a few days. We started off the day by selecting a cache that was near by, and then used a "Next Closest" route to complete our cache raid. Today's run was like a magical mystery tour, as we didn't know where we could have ended up. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 8 caches today & DNF'd 0. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 10m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Our “Raising Hell in Maidenwell” cache run, it was supposed to be a car show but incorrect info on the website had Scooby Doo (Subaru Outback) and the Mystery Machine (Caravan & Mobile GeoHQ), stacked, loaded and ready to go on the wrong weekend. With Mr RF hanging for a day off and a trip anywhere, we decided to change the weekend into a cache run with a visit to the Maidenwell Hotel Saturday night for the monthly “Pig on a Spit”. Basing the Mystery Machine (Van) in the pubs free camping area Friday afternoon for a Sunday departure we headed off to do some caches.
We arrived at this one after a DNL (Didn’t even bother to look) on another nearby cache that there seems to be no road access to. This was an easy find and Mrs RF soon had it signed sealed and delivered.
We took nothing but memories; we left nothing but footprints and our tag.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick and the log is in good condition but almost full and ready for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache Fisher Clan.
Cheers

My apologies up front for the copy 'n' paste logs...not my usual thing but the unusually high numbers found (for the Eskies) necessitated this to get the job done.
Mrs E & Kestal hit the road early this morning for a numbers run as the Eskies prepare for the next milestone...a really enjoyable day with many scenic roads travelled. We were very thankful for a reprieve in the hot weather after the scorching temps this week...some areas in the region obviously copped a battering at some stage with many branches and trees down in spots. Our thanks to all the COs for their contribution to our day...a total of 41 found!

Out today with Eskies5 as she builds her numbers towards her next big milestone. We left Toowoomba just after 6 and this was our first stop for the morning. A nice quick find was made here to start our day. TFTC Fisher Clan
With my new swag to test out, an overnight camp in the Bunya Mountains with plenty of bushwalking to find all the great caches on offer seemed ideal. Another grab on the way through.

Very sneaky little hiding place but it did not have a friendly guardian that will grow larger as the years fly by! Made sure it was well recovered with natural material.
TFTC Fisher Clan and our last cache find of yours this am - thank you for all the work you have done in placing your many interesting caches that we have enjoyed finding.

Out and about in the camping van for two days of Geocaching. [^]
Now for day 2. AND I have just realised I have been writing the wrong dates in the caches for 2 days.
After spending most of the last two days travelling along dirt roads I am onto Bitumen for the rest of the way.
When I pulled up to this one I thought I have found this one. Sure enough I did find this one on the 29 April but forgot to log it. Logging for today. Don't won't to mess up my stats.
Another quick find here.
Thanks for the cache.

Found whilst in the area visiting family.
I nearly missed finding it as it was nearly completely covered with dirt, most probably from the local wildlife that have been digging around these trees.
Watch out for the little cactuses.

Out and about with the ever ready Jelly the Wonderdog, on a last minute, round road trip from Oakey and then back. We were heading for one of the "oldies" and this one was on the way. Best stop to make another smilie! After a bit of a sniff around GZ for Jelly and a poke about for me, I had the beasty in hand. I left our signatures and then replaced the cache as it had been found.

Day 2 of a 3-day getaway with Dutchie1950 and our main objective was to attend youngoldfella's Event today. And after some exploring of the local area this morning, we attended the Event and had a grand time [^]
Afterwards we decided to visit Maidenwell to attempt the Earthcache there (thanks to Gullivers Travels54 for the heads-up!) and drove out via the NSL series of caches (albeit in reverse order). Time for a bit of a side-track, and I wished we had a little more time to go exploring in the park. A quick find once the GPSr's settled down. TFTC, Fisher Clan.

# 1198 - In Nanango this weekend with IolantheK for this, Nanango's First, great event.
We were lucky enough to have accommodation for two nights in Nanango so we made good use of our time. Thanks to this event I've been able to add some 80 smileys to my name.
After the event we still had some time to collect a few more smileys and wanted to go to a nearby earth cache as well after we'd heard from Gullivers Travels how beautiful it was.
This brought us onto a short nice ride to the NP. A good place for a picnic if we had the time. With the GPS playing up a bit under the tree cover it took a while to get to GZ, but I finally made it.

Last one for the night as it is dark now and we are getting a little hungry.
Arrived at GZ and soon I hopped out of the geomobile with geopartner in tow and we soon arrived at GZ.
The cache was located and I was standing signing the log when geopartner says I can hear something rustling in the grass. I turned my torch around expecting to see a snake or toad but it was a bandicoot and the first one I have seen in the wild. Was very impressed to see that.
