Another interesting and appropriate hide. We also found a snake skin nearby which the kids were fascinated by.Thanks for the cache!
It's very hard at night, but we got it: there is a small treasure for the next person
Soggy soggy soggy underfoot today, not ideal when picking up guests when your feet are now soaking ! Took a while even with the extremely helpful hints.TFTC
Found it 8m north of the cooords. Not sure about the TB coin empty clear sleeve hanging with it but logs dry. Watch out for the Mozzies and blade grass both get ya. Tftcsl
Tftc. Took some searching but after checking previous logs, we found cache 8m north of GZ.
We didnt know what side it was on and it was pouring with rain so we have to give it a DNF
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. Took longer than it should have.
DAY 6
After much planning, saving and extra mods to the 4WD we are finally on our way to Longreach to take part in the QOGM festivities. A short stopover in Coffs Harbour visiting relatives has us enjoying the mild weather, the great scenery and not to mention a cache or 2.
The well themed cache was spotted after a bit of a search.
Thanks earthly65 for the placement.

Didn’t find it but on way back to the car I decided to have another go and yes it is in plain sight but just had to look in right direction

Driving visiting family around Coffs today and had to come back to this one. This time success. In our defence I think it was too sunny to be able to see the container, today overcast and spotted nearly straight away. One less blue face.
Thanks earthly65 for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 14430,
searched for some time, and looking at previous photos, we were hopefully looking at the same leaf pattern, but left empty handed.

We found this cache while out caching before heading back to our accomodation. Had a great morning finding some great caches throughout Coffs Harbour
Quick find after looking at some images, all in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache earthly65

We were given a few hours to go caching before Mothers Day lunch today. Still on the lookout for those favourite caches for the challenge, but generally just having fun.
We’ve been glad the weather man was off target so far this weekend, and the weather has been great….
The cache was found in good condition. TFTC!

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
Unfortunately this DR 1.5 didn't want to show itself to us today!
Thanks for the hunt anyway earthly65.

Spent ages going around and around until we decided to expand search radius. Nicely themed cache, all in good condition.
Thanks for the cache

These caches always make me smile, spend ages looking then when you spot it, it’s ‘how the hell did I miss that straight up!’ Tftc
I think I’ll walk rather than fly with this mob. They landed upside down on the ground
Replaced this cache a couple of days ago...cache disappeared along with some pretty severe pruning...cache now approx 3 metres further from road to hopefully it will not succumb to pruning and be lost like previous two caches here have...cache is hanging near the lil waterway...approx 1.5 metres from the ground...happy caching
Went looking for it with a friend who had already found it and branch it was on has been cut down.
It seems a tree has recently toppled down in here. Searched for an age. Copped a few mozzie bites. No such luck.
Hint is perfect so why was it so hard to find. Guess I look without seeing. TFTC.
Log was soggy and beyond rescue. Replaced it with some fresh paper. Hope it stays dry.
The cache was found in poor condition after wet weather, I was unable to sign the cache.
On the way to pick a friend up at the airport, good time to grab the airport cache.

A quick find just as the rain started, the clue made sense once I found it, tftc
After attending the event in Coffs the afternoon before we are spending the day caching both in and around the area as well as a bit further north. Found an interesting variety of caches and did have just a few DNFs. Thanks to all the COs for enhancing our visit to the area.
Everyone picked a different point to start but it was Pitman Clan that turned around to spot the goods. TFTC
Pulled up and then noticed a NO Parking sign so drove in front of it where there was just enough room for the van.
Crossed over to GZ where we remember hanging around looking for a cache before. Can't remember whether we found that one or not but it certainly didn't take long to spot this one.
An aptly decorated cache. Thanks.
