Enjoying this series with the Cache with Company group. Lovely to see the wildflowers beginning to bloom. TFTC, olthomas!
Found Gandalf card inside too!! Heading that way so will return to him when we get there. Tftf
Up in South Geraldton... I mean the northern suburbs... with Leg5 today cleaning up some of the many dots across my hideous looking map. I don't go NoR very often! Cheers to all the COs for your effort in placing the caches.
Out and about again, today teaming up with L1.77 to do the caches in the bush land north of Hester Ave.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

A plan was made, hoping the the weather would be nice to us. So themongrel and I met up with B12 and C10 to tackle the fishing caches , a bit of 4WD and several others along the way. Great company and the weather was kind to us tftc
Finally got to do this series while staying nearby. Have had in the ‘to do’ basket for way too long. Thanks olthomas
Went out on my day off for a few caches. Sand was soft but do-able for walking.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I made a plan to have these series knocked over before heading back to work. The weather was wet at my place but by the time I got north it had fined up nicely . All caches were found . TFTC and the series .
Made an early Sunday Morning start NOR to avoid Freeway traffic & hopefully finish off this trail before the heat of the day. So far, so good. TFTC olthomas
Relatively quick and painless find here. Tftc, container though has Sartre to feel some pain - has cracks on it
Another walk via bushland - ILT found 3 caches before me due to I am slow walked same as turtle ILT walked same as Rabbit Signed the log as EV, Thanks olthomas for the cache and hunt.
Found the first feeder cache in June 2016, the next two in October 2016 and the final three today. Now we have to find out how to use the information that we have collected along the way. Thank for the bushwalk olthomas, now for the hard work.
Britt spotted this one and made the quick find after I'd started searching the other end of the log, tftc and
Next cache found in the series. Walking is easier this side of the series as your on a limestone path and not slogging through soft sand.

Yay. Finally got my smiley here. Did the rest of the series and the finale ages ago but this one was my only dnf. Got my act together and found it today... that blue face on my page was bugging me lol. TFTC again!
With a relatively cool day, took the opportunity to hitch a ride with the wife and daughter to Beldon.
The Geoson and I then took to the Yaberoo Budjara trail on the bikes and started heading south and back to home with the mission to grab the few remaining hobbit hides Not found and maybe place a couple of new hides along the way
Great day was had and with the little fellas legs starting to tucker out, we made the call to the geo wife to come pick us up at Clarkson.
Tftc Olthomas
I am sure you guys have ridden this trail many a time. Is just me or does it always seem you are ridding uphill not matter what direction you are travelling

Found it two months ago with the rest of them but forgot to log them online. Tftc great afternoon outdoor. I love caches in circles.
I decided to pack up the swag and head away for a night to grab a few caches a bit further north of home than we would usually venture. I booked a site at Yanchep National Park and headed there after work to set up camp for the night. I headed out early this morning to grab the caches in this area. I had no problems with this one! TFTC
G’day there olthomas, I was in this area today and found your cache The Hobbit - Oin GC64RAH. I added my name to the log book at 6:53 am on 23 February 2018. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!
This brings our total find count to 9262

Wow, a spare day all to myself and I took advantage of the opportunity to visit Neerabup. It have been wanting to explore this patch of bushland for many years and the weather and scenery did not disappoint. All attempted caches were found today and most were quick easy finds. I saw plenty of kangaroos and at the end of the day, I only needed to pluck one tick out of my body - I'll take that as a win! Great series. Cheers olthomas
We headed out on a winters day to grab as many caches as we could, after the recent rains many parts of the track were washed out so I volunteered to get out of the cruiser and guide hubby through, and boy am I glad I did, I prefer to drive sitting up vertically and I didn't pack a spare pair of undies today. All in all we had lots of fun, a great day out and smileys were claimed TFTC olthomas
Found it. TFTC olthomas. Great place for a walk but I am still extracting prickles from the last cache. . . . Why do I punish myself?
Checked on this one and it had crept a little bit so have moved it back to an easier to find spot.
Minergal & I came out of hiding to tackle the Lord of the Rings & Hobbit series today. It was a bit of hiking bush bash at some stages which we both suffered scratches from the prickly plants everywhere. But what adventure is without it's challenges?
We called it a day at roughly 1600 with all the clues minus 2. We will return next fortnight to complete the series by finding the mystery caches! TFTC's!!

TFTCout on a Thursday's caching adventure with Barnzy12. Got to have a later start than usual today that played in well as we were travelling north, last time B12 made the rookie move to head north during peak hour!
Today was going to be a little special as we were going to find enough caches to get barnzy12 to 7000 cache finds.
We found a few small series of caches on our trip today and collect a few puzzle finals also. Only a handful of DNFs today made for a successful trip, the highlight for me was the little cave a got to explore and the instant cool feeling when you enter TFTH

TFTC! Another Thursday caching adventure with Cravo10, this week to Joondalup and a little further, we had a small sample a week or so ago grabbing some park and grabs and quickly realised we hadn't been up this far north for some time and the number of green dogs had got a little out f hand on the map.
We completed a bunch of the tel971 caches in the gnangara pines, which was nice to be off the beaten track for a bit, only seeing one vehicle on the roads we travelled. All caches there were found quickly except one which appears to be awol.
We directed our attention to the lord of the rings and the hobbit series of caches, which was a very nice bushwalk, it was a bit of a pain trying to get some of the caches as they were in the middle of dense low and medium level vegetation which took its toll on the body! Understanding the COs reasoning as the geoarr piece is quite nice looking. We skipped a few which were just a bit too much for the day, amd had a couple of dnfs which appear to be awol.
Finished the day grabbing a bunch of park and grabs including the fruit or vegetable series which we started way back in 2013!! all around to get the numbers up to help me claim find number 7000. Thanks to the local COs for their hides.
Due to one of my clients waiting to play cheapskate, I got the day off, so off to attack these silly Hobbits and Goblins or whatever over the bush parts near here and the new Freeway roadworks and the train line.
This was the 4th of these critters to get converted to a smily, noted the clue and moved on. This one was a long bush bash form the last one as the track was so far west, made it but note to self to buy better socks for this type of walking, the dry dead prickles worked there way into my shoes!

A day with megawat60 visiting some Hobbits and Lords! At the previous cache we made the executive decision to walk straight from Boromir to Oin. Glad this is winter! but still the prickly bushes took some skin and first aid was needed (a bandage from a blood donation, kept in bag "just in case").
We were very happy to find this cache and even happier to find a real path. TFTC olthomas.

Thank you! Decided to do this series today. This was the fourth (and my 500th!) find. Cache in good condition.
(Chwiliwr team catch up log)
As Chwiliwr still have a few days left on his first to find calendar with this being one of them we decided to do this series and see if he could be first at the final after completing the series.
Had no trouble with finding any of the hides just with the tracks where there was soft sand.We were pleased with ourselves that it took only 90 minutes to get around the traditional caches.
Thanks olthomas for the cache and the series as a whole.

FTF @ 6:35am. Plenty of kangaroos this morning. Hopefully no ticks. Another quick find. Thanks oltomas.
