I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Day one of my walk around the Kepler Track.

Despite the DNFs I thought I’d stop for a look, which I did, but had no more luck than the previous searchers.

Didn't notice this had a string of DNFs and a NA before searching. No joy here either. Sadly looks like yet another abandoned DOC cache.

This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.

Stopped for a look inspite of a number of DNFs before me but no luck

Had a look on day walk but also could not find.

searched a lot of stumps but seems to be missing. pity. lovely walk after getting the boat to brod bay and walking back to control gates.

As previous, looked around at the hint objects with no luck

Did not find. Found a big rock in a tree stump

Had a bit of a hunt around but couldn't find it ️

A friend and I have come from Blenheim to tramp the Kepler track.... No luck with this one - and was not prepared to look for too long - need to get going.

Looked on the way and on the return but no joy for us ️

Today may well be our last geocaching day in this awesome little town, so our goal today was a few that have been placed near the start of the Kepler track by the local DOC team and a couple on the way out and back. Not a great day early on, but it soon cleared late morning and we had a great walk. Finished the day off by completing one of the escape rooms at the local outfit that does those - great fun, would recommend! Thanks all COs.

I found that cache today at my little walk at the beginning of the Kepler Track. TFTC

Zowaar! We did the Lakeside walk from the visitor center to the Control Gates, and first and last part of Kepler Track, all in all 16km and a lot of caches. Thx to all CO’s for the hiding and caring for them. Simone

Decided to do some caching while on a day walk to Brod Bay - TFTC

Heute ein paar Kilometer auf dem Kepler Track gelaufen. Bei 24 Grad genau richtig hier im dichten Wald.
Auch diese Dose konnte schnell gefunden werden. Ein eintrag ins Logbuch erfolgte per Stempel.

Today I walked a few kilometers on the Kepler Track. With 24 degrees exactly right here in the dense forest.
Also this can could be found quickly. An entry in the logbook was made by stamp.

Up in Te Anau to do the Half Marathon - grabbing a few caches on the way...
Took a short while bu got there in the end.

Again our GPS had us out by about 15m but the hint makes for a quick find.

Cheers we left a travel bug, which we brought with us from Australia.

A bit of searching map had the cache on the non lake side of the track - when I had no luck started searching lake side and with help of clue found it.

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 11 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. Today I decided to go for a walk along the Keplar Track initially and its environs. A fave for these on this great walkway with the added bonus of no mountain-bikers.

Found thisone on the way back from a long hike towards the top of mount Luxmore.

TB out + TB in (one that wishes to reside close to water. So this location near the shores of lake Te Anau is ideal)
