DNF at 1:13 PM.
For a difficulty of 1.5 it should have been a very easy find, but after a few minutes we couldn't find anything so we left. That's 5 DNF's now - better check it out.

Dnf. I am wondering if it is still there or got washed away in the flooding from Tc Debbie .
Drive today from our base at Dolphin Heads to Eungella, caching as we go. Found on our way down at 3.45 pm
Out on a maintenance run up the valley we stopped by here to have a look. Can that be It?? really???
Yes it was the cache, Log was full so we replaced it with one of our waterproof ones. had a few names on it so must have been in a cache one time Ratdog cross those finders off as they haven't found this one.
So glad I didn't look here when I bought the dogs with me last time I was in the area. I am amazed that its so close to an active train line, be careful cachers this can be a really dangerous place.

Out with Mum for a drive to the mountains where we did some cache maintenance and visited some friends, some where home some not.
Not sure how you got away with this one, so close to the train tracks even if they don't operate all year.
I couldn't believe where I found the cache, really. not too sure it thats where it was meant to be but there was a log book in it, so I found it full so we replaced it.
We did have a cache here years ago at the little used picnic table across the road. Check it out.

It seems that this box modrl is popular here in Australia.. Anyhow, thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland.
Last cache for the day and honours go to Pa. I think he went straight to it, while I was attempting to clamber in a completely different location.
I inserted a nano's new log as that was all I had with me. I will need to make some more bigger ones to help out in emergencies.

We parked our caravan at the rodeo grounds for a few days and while we were there we drove around the area to grab some caches. Lots of cane trains around this area right now but none came along while we were near GZ. TFTC
Since I've been travelling to and from Dululu each weekend and not explored my place of birth I decided to take advantage of the rain and check out the Valley. This Cache I found on the way.
Cattle creek really seems to wind its way about the valley doesn't it...assuming it is the same cattle creek as there. I feel like I should remember this place but I don't. I remember a bridge that I used to get really excited about that flooded (we had holes in our falcon floor and the water used to gurgle and swirl through) And I remember a huge bridge, or Big Bridge and my brother and I used to call it near Finch hat ton. This is merely nondescript save for the picnic table besides it. I expect the swimming would be good in fine weather.
The Log is wet and falling apart. It needs both replacing and a plastic bag this time. Glad the cache wasn't camoflaged. Nice spot but didn't feel comfortable in the rain playing on railway lines.

Log a bit damp so sat for a little in the sun...but now mugglers have arrived.
Out for the day doing the Pinnnacle run with Tribe Charles and it looks like we are off to a good start nice quick find five down
Found in the last place we looked . We've done the previous cache that was here a couple of years ago. This area has had an upgrade since then with the tables and the shelter. A good straightforward cache but my wife said she thinks she saw a snake on the railing nearby so it seems you have to look out for them too. TFTC!
On our way to Eungella National Park, bineundyves, Regina32 and me found nice caches. TFTC
On the way from Airlie Beach to Eungella Nationalpark we made some stops to search for some geocaches. This was one them we found.
Thanks for the cache and many greetings from Germany!

Found it. Do not recommend finding it with young kids. I made mine wait under bridge. TFTC
My first Road Trip with my mum and my Teen-Geo today from Mackay to Eungella to kick off 2016. We’d mapped out the ones we wanted to visit today and lucky for us we didn’t score a DNF. It was my mum’s first geocaching trip and she loved it (even finding one on her own!).
We took the advice of the hint but it still took a wee while (there are quite a few hidey-holes). We also came across this huge huntsman spider guarding one place we wanted to look so he got his way . Teen Geo spied the prize. TNLN. SL. TFTC.
