A nice quick find thanks. The mountains look lovely from here. The container was open to the weather when we found iy. We dried it out and closed it up and rehid.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. It was a great weather today, the best so far. Mts Ruapehu and Ngaruhoe looked great from around the lake. We were travelling from Turangi to Rotorua

Found with Piwaka 54 on our Christmas road trip from Wellington! Location and care of cache get a fav from me!
Well it's been ages but we've finally got caching again and this was our first target. Our rescue dog was fostered by a lovely couple on Mahuta Road until and her siblings were rehomed almost two years ago. We didn't find them at home when we called in while on our way home from a tiki tour to the South Island, but we snagged this cache, left a note, and caught up for a family reunion later in the day. Home tomorrow, but what a great last day on the road!
Out today for some gentle walks today to help limber up the muscles, after yesterday's 50 km effort in the Taupo Ultra.

Travelling from Napier to Taupo today with Nosynel and Ethness. Our goal is to find all the TMGT caches in a big figure 8 across the centre of the North Island. We plan on stopping from time to time to find the odd cache. A dog in the neighbouring house seemed quite concerned at our visit! Thanks for the hide. Enjoyed being able to see the mountains today.

A nice view from here. I am on a North Island Figure of Eight tour. For the first 4 days I spend time in the Bay of Plenty with my husband JDScout in Rotorua. Now I am on part two of the eight loop going over to New Plymouth. This part is being done with my good friends Ethness and Jude_E.

Hmmm, not sure if the dog next door was happy see us, but he was a lovely colour. I think I could be sent to sleep here easily at night with the noise of the waves breaking the beach.

Did a couple of laps around thebush before getting serious, then found quick enough.All good at cache, tftc

So pleased to be able to travel now we are in Covid level 2. Come to Taupo for the weekend to increase the number of domestic tourists. Out for a bike ride after the ladies hired electric bikes and the guys used their traditional bikes. Was quite a workout trying to keep up with the ladies. Amazing machines. Lovely ride along the lake. Cache all fine although no frogs insight. Thanks
With isolation being the key it was a perfect time to come to this Beautiful quiet area and appreciate natural beauty

Nice easy cache with a great view of Lake Taupo. Found while in Taupo for the weekend with @peadub. Good instructions and GPS. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
5 year old found it and was pretty excited. Lovely spot by the reserve.

6th cache ever and second cache placed by taupotiger today! Quick and easy find along the beautiful track! Met a fellow geocacher when finding it! Lots of fun!!! Definitely another favourite! Thank you so much!!!
Decided to stretch the legs during a long car journey and this cache looked like a great objective while we did that. Amazing views of the lake and mountain today so plenty of photos were taken. Located the cache in the right place (but quite visible possibly due to pruning?), it was in fine condition though.... looks like we aren’t the only finders so far today!
