We gave this one a decent go, but with lots of muggles around and an unhelpful hint we eventually gave up.
We had no luck with any of the Friends from NC caches. Perhaps it wasn't our day.
I am having so much trouble with this series! I don't think my phone GPS is very accurate but I am completely stunned. Luckily I live only a block away and can keep looking
Haven't done a lot of caching in the last wee while. TG and I headed out for a Mad Monday Mission and stayed close by. We did a bit of a loop via town, Heathcote, Sumner, Avonhead, Uni and then home. I scored a few tonight and TG grabbed a smattering. Had a great night out. The evening started out cloudy and ended up being clear and a bit nippy out. Oh, I feel the winter is coming. Good to grab the town caches at night as the muggle factor was low, also good for the Uni. Good fun.
Thanks for the cache Nosynel.

Found with odgersaj back when I first started and didn't understand the app/have a prem account - now I do though! Signed the log back then but didn't do the online bit so logging now. Thank you!!
After a walk round Ferrymead I thought I would head across to Sumner. Not many people about today so the cache was a quick find. TFTC.
Looked like rain was coming (and it was), so dashed out on the bike to grab this wee series - not so many muggles as usual
Spent longer here than the other two put together, and the Seas were huge, but the Seaspray was nice and cool..Had to keep an eye on Muggles coming and going, and managed to finally find it,before nearly giving up..Tis always nice to come to Sumner, especially for the Fish n Chips we always have for lunch.
Thanks for the wee series..TFTH

After arriving in New Zealand yesterday and with our accommodation close by myself and the wife before heading out for the day. Decided to take a walk up to the large rock on the beach. Having checked that out on our way back to the car we passed this one for a quick find. Nice. Plenty of surfers seen today from this spot.

Found whilst cyclocaching from Lancaster Park (remember where that was?) to Sumner Beach and back. Stopped right at GZ and there it was.[^]This is the 8th cache found on the ride and was my turnaround point. Off now to see if the lunch-eating muggles had departed from GC65611 GZ and if the teenagers had finishedtheir bikini discussion at the GZ for GC6560X .
Great place for a cache, tucked away just enough to be hidden from people approaching on the walkway, and picturesque enough to look normal standing there . Not sure I would be jumping at the chance to go surfing - plenty of others were though. TFTC (2593)
On Tour together with Sabe73 as Team "TheBros" around South Island to visit some nice spots.
We also visited this location and could find the box almost quickly.
Thank you for showing us this place and of course for the Cache.
Greetings from Carinthia/Austria.

Geotooter and I travelled across the ditch to attend the Christchurch Mega Event. One of the things I really enjoy about Mega Events is meeting so many wonderful people. It is a chance to catch up with those I already know and to make a whole bunch of new friends. I even managed to catch up with Renelm, a cacher I met while in Copenhagen earlier this year. Fantastic! We also enjoyed tripping around discovering new locations and finding some caches along the way and this was one of them. Thanks to the CO for placing this hide and adding to my global geocaching experience. Cheers.

We arrived at GZ and there were muggles too close for us to grab the cache. Sussed out the location of the cache while watching the surfer's just off the beach and then made a quick grab once the muggles had gone. TFTC

Today was a trip to Sumner which I really enjoyed as we has a most beautiful day for it. Armed with sun hats etc we walked along the beach to the Cave. And as it was low tide we could walk through the cave which my Chch friend had never done. We collected the caches along the way and then walked the other way to collect the Thank you cache. I was very interested in the North Carolina caches as I have a cousin there who I have visited at Raleigh and even swam in the Atlantic ocean! Out by Wilmington I think it is called. Many thanks for these caches and the opportunity to find them all on such a warm 'summer' day. There were even children swimming... as well as the wet suit cad surfers out in the waves.
After a nice hike we decided to get some icecream and walked eating and caching along the shore. TFTC
Took a little longer than it should have - but we got there in the end. Nice stroll in the week spring sunshine.
NZ Mega road trip.

It was a pleasant stroll and many students out and about. They were all over Cave Rock. Looked at GZ and thought, "Oh no!!!!" --- but we did find it quickly with minimal clambering. Thanks.
A Sunday drive to Sumner for a few new caches. Hint is a little vague though.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

A busy evening & a trip to the supermarket to find some string (of all things!) organising things for a busy Saturday....so I didn't get out and about until late....(had a few caches on the list to find as the unfounds are slowly building up in the region! but alas time ran out after two! LOL).
Arrived at GZ to find it devoid of people - nice. Found the cache in the first place I looked but on the second time around after searching other 'stones' for 15min. Not surprised to see today (Saturday) another cache in the area published! LOL...I'll just have to come back again!.....cheers and thanks. A nice wee spot.
