Quick find here after I waited for a nearby muggle to walk past.Had a loan of my friends bike today and had a great time visiting different spots around Miramar today. It is the perfect way to get around to all the different spots. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Parked close by, found just as description and hint said. Was a quiet time of the day ... dusk, very pretty. A nice area for our wee penguins. TFTC

Having had a busy non-caching day yesterday in the glorious sunshine, I was hoping for the weather to be about the same for today as I was teaming up with Itchyfeet2020 to go hunting for caches on the Miramar peninsula. As it turned out Wellington certainly served up the sun for us, but with a side dish of a strong northerly breeze to ensure I spent half my day either trying to hold onto my hat or else retrieving it from having been blown clean off my head!We parked up in the main carpark and walked over to make the find here. I had spotted the obvious hide location, but had initially just done a 'bloke look' and had taken the Hint far too literally. It took a second look from me to spot the cache hiding behind the post rather than under the rock No issues to report here, so once we had both put our names into the log we replaced it as found and went on our way again. Always nice to turn a blue frown into a yellow smiley. Thanks for putting this cache out.
Out caching the peninsula today on a stunning day. We pulled up here and after parking and walking a bit it all made perfect sense. Bit to hot and bright at the moment to spot Koror unfortunately. TwigNZ did a quick check on the spot that fitted the good hint to no avail, but the second check came up with the goods. Thanks DOC its a great spot and topic for a cache.
Early finish at work means more time for geocaching, at least today Astonishing east coast of Wellington!Tftc
Find#1652We have been visiting from Australia the last 10 days. What a great location before we headed to the airport. This is the thirty-second cache working towards fulfilling the challenge cache from across the ditch, in New Zealand, One thousand points of Light Challenge. 663 out of 1 000 points. TFTC
I'm visiting New Zealand for a tour around the country . I have already visited many places on the North Island. Right now I'm staying for a while at Wellington. While enjoying the sightseeing I also visit some caches. This is one of them. Thank you for showing me the place and thank you for the cache . Greetings from Switzerland .
On a trip from Hawkes bay to Wellington for a couple of nights. Quick park and grab here

A couple of council rangers working almost at GZ doing something to the large sign.
We took untold photos of the surrounding area waiting until they were fully occupied. Eventually they got involved with drilling and securing the bits they wanted so we made a quick find and sign
Many thanks for the hide DOCNationalOffice

Nice easy find. Was very obvious as there was nothing covering so tried to put it back under where it is supposed to be.
Nearby works impacting traffic gave me very well-timed breaks in cars to approach and retrieve this cache, with enough time in the traffic rush to sign before getting back to replace it. Saw some Korora down in Oamaru many a moon ago but unfortunately for me (fortunately for them) I've only ever heard tales of people who've seen them nesting here. With Pest Free Miramar in full swing these little birds should have plenty of opportunities to flourish. TFTC
Out for the day into Wellington with Bkj97 and Little Blue Hen, with guidance from Bkj97 it was a quick find.
Took a walk whilst waiting for an arrival at the nearby facility. Was not hidden so I hid
Spent the weekend in Wellington enjoying some local caching. On the way back to the airport this was a quick grab while Mr Rubbishparty was having a swim. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley
Found on a windy day watching the Bluebridge going out towards the sounds. Passengers turning green while we watch. TFTC
Mum is helping me log all my caches that I haven't logged yet.Found with Mum (LL113) and Dad (GNARwhal). A really nice place. I climbed on the rocks.
What does one do on their wedding anniversary during the school holidays?? Go Geocaching with GeoHubby (GNARwhal) and GeoDaughter (UnicornLex) of course!!!
Lex and I were busy checking out one sign and didn’t even notice that GeoHubby had found it at another. Doh.
TFTC - Stunning views here!

Fabulous windy views across to the two lighthouses. Wind whipping the water like a mystical creature skirting across.
Picked up the TB for more adventures. Thanks

Found it and dropped off a koalabär trackable who has been travelling with us for the last month. His owner wants him to go visit other koalas in Australia so we tried to drop him off near the airport. Safe travels little bear, it's been a blast. Enjoy the penguins.
