Camped at Mudgee for the June King's Birthday Long Weekend with a group of 8 geobuddies. We signed most Logs as Mudgee Madness. TFTC Joshwa27
Gate is locked. Getting to church requires crossing a fence. After a through search we didnt find it. Replaced it with a tube under old fence post opposite power pole. CoorsS 033 04.782' E 149 36.570'
Could not get access to church grounds as there is a double padlocked chain on the gate,
Day 2 of our geo tour from Bathurst.
Taking a drive on the road less traveled today. Expecting some great scenery and plenty of caches.
Thanks to everyone involved in creating caches and trails for us to enjoy.
Made the find here at this georgeous little church.
Thanks Joshwa27

Day 3 in Mudgee and our last. Today was for picking up the middle sectioon of the TRLT series before moving on to Bathurst. A more enjoyable day as the wind had eased and this section of the road has been graded. A long day as we had to get to Sofala as this will be the end point from Bathurst.

Another great day on our one-year tripp around Australia. We love to travel in this country and we love to look for geocaches. This geocache has again shown us a place that we might not have visited without geocache.
Thank you for the geocache !
Greetings from Switzerland.

Another interesting country church. Visited for a quick find with Genghicat. Took some black and white photos and on we moved. Cache is in good condition. Love these churches. Tftc
This was our last cache to search for at the end of another great day out geocaching in this beautiful countryside. The cache was soon located at this isolated church and log book signed. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe

Mudgee trip for The Road Less Traveled series. Day 3. Sofala to Mudgee via Hill End and lots more back roads. The main focus of this trip was more of the TRLT series, so it was good to get back to work on the main goal. One of many cemeteries I had the chance to visit and explore this weekend.
Thanks.

12/12 for the day on a trip to Hill End and the fourth cemetery of the day. TFTC
On our way home from Mudgee to Sydney with AWTYOW, Geogangstars and Brizzle11 - this is a great caching trail! TFTC
With AWTYOW, Geogangstas and Gabstar. We decided to make the trip back to Sydney more fun (and longer) by taking in another section of the road less travelled. Great fun caching through the countryside here! TFTC
We decided to cut down this road to Bathurst as we were getting a bit hungry for a big feed (and the senior geo-gangsta was dying to get to Annie's ice cream parlour if we must be honest). This gorgeous chapel was a pleasant surprise and made us glad we'd taken the turn. Junior geo-gangsta had the find. TFTC
On way to Hillend, stopped for a quick cache and checked out the cemetery. TFTC
Great views as I approached the river. As I approached GZ, (not thinking about the gps), a kangaroo jumped across the road in front of me. As it made its'way behind me, I watched it and saw the church. Thanx Skippy!
Lovely little church, spectacular scenery on the way here... will have to come back camping! Thank you for this cache! : )
Nice and easy this one. Been past here many times but never stopped.
Wandered about the graveyard for a bit before heading back to the trail.

TFTC. About time this was found again. First time through this way to Hill End. Beautiful country. Magic surroundings.
Last night it was too late to travel the 10 plus K to come to this cache so we came this morning. Again, the description was spot on but the coordinates put us some 5 meters away. Cache and log are OK.
Found at 10.40am in 24th March 2016. TFTC.

Today was day 75 of our trip out of Sydney and we are getting very close to home now.
This was not as easy to find as we had thought it would be. The key indicator mentioned in the hint was not to be seen. We had a good look around and were about to give up when geo hubby decided to go a bit deeper. It was then he made the find. We were so happy to be able to give this cache a smiley. After the log had been signed the cache was replaced where we had found in but we put a suitable indicator on top of it as well. Thank you for bringing us to this area and thank you for placing this cache for us and others to find.

FTF with bikerbuddy at 4pm.
I noticed the publication of this one and the other one at Sallys Flat a few days ago when I was preparing our hit list for the weekend. As the other one at Sallys Flat had already been found by the time we got to it, we assumed this one would be as well. But it turned out that no one else had ventured this far off the TRLT route, as we found a blank logbook. A nice bonus for our weekend!
As bikerbuddy has already logged, I had a problem with my door for a few caches. Until we got it fixed a few caches on, I had a lot of trouble wriggling in and out of my seat from the passenger side. Sometimes it was just a bit too much to wriggle inelegantly across seats.
We have found a few of your church/cemetery caches now, always nice to visit another one. Thanks

We were doing the TRLT series and had already found a new Joshwa27 cache not too far back. We detoured for this one, no longer believing in a First to Find, since the previous cache had already been found. Still, we came.
When we stopped in front of the church Toriaz was forced to remain in the car while I went out and grabbed the cache. Her door had jammed at the previous cache and she had been forced to climb across the passenger seat. I brought the cache back to the car to sign. At this time of day the whole place was deserted. The church was a modest building, painted white, unlike some other churches in this region which had been built with stone.
This was my eleventy first First to Find, as Bilbo Baggins might say if he'd ever been able to wield his ring to the purposes of geocaching. Thanks
