Dnf! Gz points to these gates being new and further forward then the last ones
Reperio 15:28Day 6 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I today travelled from just outside of the ACT to home in Orange. With a number of caches left to do around Murrumbateman and Yass, we stopped by a few in this area before taking an extended route back home to Orange. Our final day was another fantastic day of caching, with very few caches that went unfound.Gratias Joshwa27As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
In checking the wrong corner I found where they hide the keys to the main gate I suspect. Continued around the main gate to then find the cache. TFTC.
Day 15 of my interstate trip. Today I left Grenfell and continued to head closer to Sydney. Tonight I stayed in the Mount York Campground unfortunately it was dark when I arrived so had to wait till morning to see how nice the views from this spot. I managed to find 19 caches today and ended up with 3 DNF's today.Got the grabber to help get this one.TFTC Joshwa27

This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Day four on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Today we were around Cowra for the morning then traveling to Temora.
Starting to head home.
We picked the right road, but at GZ the prickle bush is starting to envelope the hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20975. Day 4 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Having spent a 2nd night in Cowra we had plenty of things to do before leaving and heading to Temora. Naturally we had to have a visit to the Japanese Gardens where we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the sunshine after our walk and we did some more caches before leaving.
A particularly spikey piece of shrubbery right at GZ made the search a tad tricky. Fortunately, Rob did spy the container so we added our names and continued on our way. Should be called a MICRO and not a SMALL size.
Thanks Joshwa27

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there Joshwa27,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

After weeks of puzzling finally in the area to collect on my work. Start at Cowra with a Parkrun at 8 and then work my way to Bathurst. Also picking up the traditionals of course. Day started wet, but that doesn't stop me.

In Cowra for an annual event and had the day today to do some caching before it starts.
Found but was quite burried. cool idea for a container. Lots of bees around so had to grab quick. Gates closed today and no on in sight. Lucky as look me a bit too uncover since not easily visible. Unique container so FP from me for idea.

Did some cache hunting around Cowra with goingplaces2. Enjoyed the day and the caches found. Log was signed and all was replaced. TFTC.
While staying in Cowra for a bit longer, along with ilook4geo, we continued the hunt for more caches where the puzzles had been solved, as well as some traditionals. We had a good pick up and each log found was decorated with two more names. The gates were open here but we did not go in. Thanks go to Joshwa27 for placing this cache.
Sydney to Adelaide Roadtrip
Day Three : Cowra to Balranad.
An interesting day weather wise, with rain in Cowra, and very heavy rain around West Wyalong to the point I was worried that the highway may close. Balranald didn’t get any rain at all.
More like “don’t go out there”, with heavy rain passing through when I arrived at GZ turning the road into a brown river. A very close lightning strike added to the ambiance. I finally got a break, signed the log, and the DID go through the blue gates to turn the car around on bitumen and not get bogged.
Thanks for the adventure Joshwa27.

Found while in Cowrra for a one day stop. Found after a short search. TFTC. This one would have been nice and easy appart from being under a thorny bush. TFTC.
Mr Ski got onto his hands and knees to liberate this one from its hiding spot. Not so good when it’s been raining as hard as it has been for the past few days.
We got rugged up in our Antarctic coats today to try and protect us from the weather. Cold, wet and drizzly, but we still managed to find caches! Fortunately we were able to dodge the showers most of the time.
Finished the caching with a nice lunch in a cafe in town.
Thanks to the COs and Cowra for an enjoyable if cold and wet time.

Returning from our "unplanned alternative to the QLD mega" holiday in the New England area, we spent last night in Wellington at the same caravan park we stayed at on the way up, and today we travelled to Cowra, again staying at the showgrounds.
We think we had been to the old railway museum a few years ago, but today we were just here to find the cache, which was a nice quick find. TFTC Joshwa27.

Another one done. Woo Hoo! I enjoyed finding this one at 4:08:09 PM.
I love the challenge of the geocache hunt - read the notes, decipher the cache requirements, and go searching for the hide. This is an amazing world-wide game of hide and seek. I love it! I also enjoy caching with my 2 boys, and meeting fellow cachers. It really is a small world when I read over cache logs and see names of my friends who have found caches around the country. Thanks go to for making the effort to place this cache and maintain it. It's a great contribution to the Geocaching community and it is very much appreciated.

# 6802 On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very not, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Moping and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
Didn't go on, but had to fight prickles. Might have been easier if I had.
Thanks Joshwa27

After finishing the POW multi, we grabbed a couple of other simple caches in Cowra before heading home to Canberra. Navigated our way through the streets to the gate for a quick find. Cool container - love these "cultural" containers, of sorts. TFTC Joshwa27!
Found at 10:59 AM GAFF1.
We looked a bit conspicuous out there and started waving at the CCTV camera - wherever that was
Cache is out of the way, but oh boy is there a nasty thorn bush guarding the access! Deserves an additional star for Terrain.
Thanks Joshwa27.

We followed the instructions and found the cache easily enough. Oh and we didn’t go in there
Passed the trains, and didn’t go in there either. Cache was an easy park and grab with one of my favourite containers.
Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. Thanks for the cache Joshwa27!
An easy find, and by now, we were ready to start heading home, so our last for the trip.
12 Nov 2019 & 14 Nov 2019 Caching Trips
With these two days free, I decided on getting back into caching after a recent dry spell (apart from the event I attended on the 9 Nov). On the 12th, I headed for Cowra to start the caches out that way. I visited many monuments which some included: the World Peace Bell, Koorawatha Falls, Wynnefield Memorial and the one of the old Railway Bridges. Most caches were quick finds but a couple ended up with DNF’s or NA’s which was upsetting but hay… you can’t find all caches because you need things to do next time you’re in the area. There were many different types of hides and locations which made it a very enjoyable day out. On the 14th I headed down over the border into Victoria to hit the ‘S’ series trail which has been on the to-find-list for who knows how long now. I headed straight for the far end of the trail to start so I would finish at the closer side to the other caches on the list to find. This ended up being a solved Mystery cache finding day with a couple of Trads along the way. Also while I was in the area I couldn’t say no to visiting, the ‘Ettamogah Pub’ and ‘The Henty Man’. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s

Last minute opportunity arose for a trip to Parkes to assist with an SES course this weekend and being a five-hour journey, it was sensible to take a break from driving every so often. What a coincidence there also seems to be a cache at appropriate intervals. The title of this cache was just a bonus challenge to rebel against. Quick find without only just not going “in there”.

As I headed down the road to GZ,
I guessed that you were talking about the railway museum [:o]
What could be worse than being held up by a chatty railway enthusiast,
wanting to show you every single item in their collection ?? [:o]
Thankfully I was mistaken,
so I dared to continue down the road ...
.. phew
Don't go in there probably only applies to livestock,
judging by the piles of stuff I could see from GZ
I found no need to go in,
and soon tracked down the cache

as I drove up towards GZ there was a bobcat working on the road at the entrance. as he drove up the driveway I stopped just shy of the entrance and went ahead on foot. found the cache easily enough, the log was a bit wet so may be need to screw the lid on tightly to prevent damp. no time to dry anything out as the bobcat was on its way back with another load of gravel. I waved and smiled at the driver and went on my way to the next cache. tftc Joshwa27

After heading south west from Cowra, as far as Greenthorpe and Bendick Murrell, we returned to town to pick up a few errant caches before returning to camp. Sturdy little container, which keeps everything dry.
Thanks 'Joshwa27' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Headed away for the weekend with fitzy_1965. Made our way through Cowra and Bathurst trying to pick up some out of the way caches and some previous DNFs. I ended up with 48 finds but unfortunately we had around 17 more DNFs.
Was able to drive right up and grab the cache....there was no-one around.

15,399. Found during a Cowra/Bathurst region run this weekend with minniek.
We headed off from Canberra after work today towards Cowra for the night, grabbing a few caches along the way. This was the next one for the day. Drove as far as we could then jumped out for a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks Joshwa27 !!

Cowra
Our last morning in town. Up early to avoid the heat. We toured most of the historic sites being a tourist as well as a geocacher. We enjoyed our drive around this pretty & scenic town.
Lots of great cache placements.

We came upon your cache, Joshwa27, while travelling from Canberra to Dubbo on our homeward journey to Brisbane

Thanks for placing this cache Joshwa27, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing
No need to go in, found the cache outside. Good to see the railway museum too. TFTC
