Logs
Distressed by whoever lost their life here, distractedly searching in leaf litter, finally nailed it and signed the log. Tftc.
Mr Parko found this one pretty quickly, while Mrs Parko was looking in all the wrong places
Very cool hide. Thanks jasenjanine
Very cool hide. Thanks jasenjanine
After an unsuccessful search guessed where it should be. Scratched around in the leaf litter and voila! Found it and returned it to its host. TFTC.
Walking the next part of the KEP with MitchDem this morning while it's not stinking hot, nice easy find, TFTC
Out of Perth for the arvo to get some caches. Some along KEP trail too. Quick find here. Signed log and put back. Thanks for the hide
Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Looking looking but she found it.
Thanks for the hide and jasenjanine.

We are back camphosting at Mundaring Weir, so a good opportunity for a drive and a ride to add smilies along the KEP!Happy to find this little one. TFTC!
Our first day below 40 degrees over Xmas so talked my muggle friends to come
for a drive to collect some smilies. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches for us to enjoy. Signed and replaced as found. Given fav here - loved it! Simple yet effective

Find 13 of 15 with one DNF for the day. While Mrs O and muggle friend did some car placement shenanigans so we could ride to and drive back from Bakers Hill, Mr O had an hour to find as many caches as possible and get back to the sculpture park. After that we all rode from Mundaring to Bakers Hill and had a few strategic stops along the way for a rest and a cache hunt.
Mr O stopped, found a good hidey hole but no cache. Mrs O came along to check on his work and found the cache on the ground. It's a mystery. Possibly was accidentally deposited there by Mr O during his search, we'll never know. Put it all back together in what seemed like a sensible way.
TFTC jasenjanine!

TFTC jasenjanine!
Out and about on the bike doing some more of the KEP series. Nicely hidden this one TFTC
pug002 found it on another stint at geocaching, had enough of burning off so time to add some more smileys. Definitely a favourite. TFTC jasenjanine.
Checked on this one this morning but cache has gone AWOL
Hope to have it up & running again soon!

Spent way too long here to no avail. Think I knew what I was looking for but there was nothing in there. Will try again next time.
I decided to go for a ride today and do another stretch of the KEP track. Quick find. TFTC
A nice early start with Neva2old to grab a couple of caches before meeting up with TheMongrel to continue or hunt along the Kep track, we had a fantastic day today with mostly nice quick finds. The weather held out and we only had a couple of sprinkles of rain. TFTC
Out and about with Parkacruz and eventually Themongrel to tackle a few more of the Kep series and a few others on the way. The rain held off although temperature gauge said 3 degrees at one stage and the seat warmers set to toasty we had a great day Tftc.
Another geocaching hike along the Kep trail with the geodog - this time around Wundowie, thanks for the caches! Loved this hiding spot - definitely earns a favourite vote from me.
Found it. TFTC jasonjanine. Teamed up with ullyssia and papillon367 for another section of the Kep track series. It was Bakers Hill to Wooroloo, a really great day for riding. Thanks for this series.
Teamed up with ullyssia and Photo-Play for a second bite at this series. We went from Bakers Hill to Wooroloo and had a great day enjoying the variety of hides along the track.
Great hiding spot, thank you for the cache and for the series jasenjanine.

Thank you! Headed out with Photo-Play and papillon367 for a ride along the track from Bakers Hill to Wooroloo.
The gps was being a bit weird here, but the cache was eventually found.

Great camo here.
Out and about bright and early grabbing some caches before the event at Lake Leschenaultia.
TFTC jasenjanine this is find # 4014 for us.

After such great fun and enjoyment from yesterdays walk, I set out today to continue the trek. I walked from Wooroloo to Clackline. Another hot day, but I took two breaks along the way at Wundowie and Bakers Hill to replenish. Arrived at Clackline around dusk to then realise there were no transport options to return to Wooroloo other than to walk back in the dark. Thankfully I brought a good torch to guide the way. I hope to complete the track all the way to Northam sometime soon. Great hide. TFTC jasenjanine
I liked the camo. TFTC jasenjanine......next stop....REVENGE for Ooh Yeh's Christmas gift.
It's Father's Day and I was happy to be able to convince the family to head out for a bit of caching. I had to find an area that would interest all so we headed out towards Wundowie.
A quick find here.

Met up early this morning with ssclan with the plan to ride as much of the KEP trail as we could before the rain arrived. Armed with a coffee from DOME we arrived around 7am in Chidlow. With 2 cars we took the second to Wundowie and then headed back to Childow to start the ride.
Great morning with only the 1 DNF, arriving in Wundowie by bike around 11:45am, just as the drizzle set in. From there it was a tour of several of the caches around the town followed by a couple on the way back to Chidlow.
Ended the day with 55 finds, so a great day out. Loving the KEP trail, another 36 completed today but still plenty to go.
Thanks to Jasenjanine for this great series, and for the inventive puzzles and other caches around Wundowie

Headed east early this morning to get some smilies on the KEP Track with Spatialriq. Also picked up some others along the way. Quite a successful day on the bikes with 58 finds and only 1 dnf.
Thanks jasenjanine for a great series and a couple of head scratching puzzles. Hopefully I'll be back soon to complete the rest of the series.

After a morning bike race in Chidlow I had some time to grab a few caches before lunch. It was a hot day, but I was keen to nab a few while I was out this way, so I picked up where I left off with the KEP series.
Another quick find here, and I loved the camo, nice work.
Thanks for the cache jasenjanine!

Found THE KEP – Memorial. Came across this technique of hide before at THE KEP – Snug. Brilliant! Signed at number 13 of log sheet! Not good omen . I’m quite apprehensive, and true enough later at THE KEP – McMullen Road! [:(!] TFTH jasenjanine.
We have been tackling this series over a period of time and it was time to bite the bullet and get it completed .... So the geowife instructed me it was my time to complete it !!!!!
I packed the car with the old push bike and hit the trail early ......
It was dark when I hit Mundaring so it was out with the torch . Did I mention the weather was dismal !!!!
I managed to collect 81 and no DNFs.
Many different containers used so it was a pleasure to see a variety and the way they were used .....
I saw the history of the KEP track in different stages from the old water pipe to the railway sliding's / landings and the buildings close to the track from that era .
Sorry for the genetic log as I didn't take any notes but will comment on the ones I can remember !!!!

Got up early and while muggle husband played golf at El Caballo, decided to tackle as much of the Kep as we could today. Had a great time on a beautiful Sunday morning, the first for so long that wasn't wet. Great variety of caches that were well hidden. .Tftc, jasenjanine. Great hide. A fave.
I headed out to this area with the mountain bike for a second crack at polishing off a few more of the Kep series of caches. The weather was getting better with bright blue skies now. There was still a lot of puddles along the way and no one else around. Very peaceful!
jasenjanine - jinta29 found your cache THE KEP - Memorial. This is my find #5561 and find #23 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

Nicely placed cache here, favourite point. I wasn't able to take the logbook out to sign due to the rain and the fact my hands were frozen, I've taken a photo instead which I hope the CO will permit as evidence. TFTC
Out with Alison and great cache but its wet and we couldnt get to log out without tearing it. Took a pic instead hope thats ok. Tftc
I parked the geomobile for a very short stroll into the KEP scenery
Oh no !! Another pathetic roadside memorial to someone who tried to damage a tree, but lost their own life in the crash instead !! [:o]
As a long time cyclist, and geocacher, wandering around OZ, I know how many of these 'pathetic' memorials to wasted lives exist along our roadsides
Most are not noticed by passing motorists.
I do notice !!
I hate these memorials to wasted lives.
Usually speeding, drunk behind the wheel, on drugs, or a combination of the three
But such is society these days !!!
Even the WA Premier has declared the war on Meth unwinnable
First time I have agreed with a pollie for ages
Cache found nearby
TFTC.
"Cars, 4wd's and Motorcycles are NOT permitted on the track", yeah right !!
Try telling that to the locals

A nice neat hide, great camo! We saw some horses (with riders!) on the track! TFTC
TFTH A good camo. What a lovely spot yet a place of tragedy for someone who was obviously loved.
TFTC! Found on a lovely mornings caching out to Northam to tackle a leg of the KEP track series between wundowie and Northam.
Was a lovely morning with nearly all caches found, a few did not attempts, due to various reasons.
Highlight of the day was the refractory building, took some lovely pictures there and will return to tackle the two caches nearby that were a bit too tough to grab today.
Had to be back in Perth earlier than planned so will have to return to tackle the rest of the series another day. Thanks

ended my extended long weekend doing some more Geocaching, turns out it has been a full on 5 days of caching from Jurian Bay to Augusta and out to Northam/York. covered a fair few more KM of this Great state TFTH TFTC
Up bright and early this morning to head to Northam with iluvtrekking mainly to do The Kep Track caches. All caches in the series located using a combination of roadside access or the geo-hubbies plying the treddlies down the tracks. A great day out and many thanks to jasenjanine for the awesome effort in laying this series down.
Richlink stayed over on Saturday night so that we could make and early, early start on Sunday morning.
So, with the bikes loaded we headed off in the dark to Northam, "The Kep" caches firmly in our sights. Some of the caches were accessed on foot from the nearest parking spot and others by bike. Although there was some heavy rain storms on Monday and we were wet through we found all of the caches and had a great couple of days finishing up with lunch at The Weir Hotel on Monday.
Congratulations jasenjanine, what a fantastic effort here.

Tis a brave hider who hides a nano on a series that is bound to be popular. I guess you must travel the area frequently enough that you can replace the log when required. Thanks for the cache.
The better half decided that we were going out caching despite the weather so headed up to do some more of this series. Ended up quite wet at times but found all the caches without too much trouble in the rain. Some of them were even found without rain falling on us.
We started at the wier to finish of the few that I missed the other day when heading home and once they were done headed up to where I ended the other day near Wooroloo and continued on from there.
Cache logs were signed and caches returned as found.
Thanks jasenjanine for the cache.
