All quiet out here thank goodness. Took a little while to locate. Found with angelic_kiwi. tftc
An interesting little road, must have been weird for anyone who saw our little campervan going along, probably thought we had the wrong road! But of course we were right where we wanted to be, getting another cache for the minutes challenges I'm working. Thanks for the little detour and cache, it was fun. Found with mumandme.
TFTCBeen past this road many many times and never ventured down. Love the clue
Time for more South Canterbury back road caching. Cleaning up another segment of the map.
Container open and log disintegrated so put in a new one. Make sure lid firmly closed.
We are on our way south to Oamaru for a few days of geocaching with a bit of fishing thrown in. Never noticed this geocache before so we turned off the main road to make a quick find on a road that we didn't know existed, wrong or not.
Had dinner with some mates in chch last night, one of those mates lives in Pareoa. Messaged him in Timaru, while driving south to Invercargill, and he was 10 min behind me. What can I do for 10 minutes, but cache!
A lovely day out driving, this cache is a nice and easy find. The log is a tad damp but otherwise, awesome hide!
This little town was a stop on our way south. Up the wrong road we went, and found the cache. Unfortunately it is very damp and it is now impossible to write on. Have taken photo if the CO wants proof of finding. Thanks for placing this.
This wasn’t as quick as we thought and having had some difficulty in Pareora thought it was another DNF but finally

I’ve been in Timaru for a day or 2; today I decided to drive south for a bit.
This cache wasn’t exactly on the way, but close enough ! Thanks, abxt350 - interesting to explore the back roads.

I have been to see GZ and the cache is there. If you put your hand right to the back of the elgna you Will find it. I have put a new blank log book in it for you to sign. The pikkies shows what you are looking for
Looked and it hasn’t been found in nearly a year. Wondering if it has been taken as the previous looker couldn’t find it either /:
Very wet.
On a road trip back South after attending an Auntie's funeral in Christchurch with NZ Bozzy.

Log still very wet. Interesting how the farmer can just stop the use of the paper road. But not really any need for it to be there. They must have thought the town would grow bigger when it was surveyed.
Finally brought a car that I had want for the last 3 years and had to fly up to Auckland to drive it back to Dunedin. So 2 birds with one stone a new car and caching all the way home. This is one of many on the trip home was a nice and easy one to find TFTC
Day 2 of our 6-Day End of the Year caching trip to Dunedin. First cache up in the morning and I dont know what went wrong. It shouldve been pretty easy but we couldnt find it. I love ebony's comment about cleaning up abit. I bet she had a good munch Thanks anyway.
Had a good look and found the cache with my dad. I did a bit of tidying up while at GZ
Am not sure where the cache was meant to be but it is now under. Was lying on the grass when I found it. Thanks for explaining why the map is so wrong. Tftc.
After a lovely weekend in Timaru it was time to head home with a few caching stops along the way. After looking on the "Wrong Side" cache was soon located and then down the Road that's not there to Pareora. TFTC
All up and running again. Put a new container in situ. Hope it stays in place for longer this time
I won't log a dnf for each of the boys even though they all got out and helped look. As I had three finds for the day I wasn't too worried about spending a long time hunting. The grass was wet and my shoes were getting wet too. Extended our search area but came up empty handed.
Went to do a regular check and the cache is not there, will replace asap. I dont know how long it has been missing as no one had told me!
On my way south to watch the Highlanders take on the Lions. Took a few days off work to cache on my way done and home again. Quick easy find on a very cool series.
Just finished Thompson's Track and the Lake Hood trail in Ashburton we're on a mission to find 50 caches in on day and heading home in the dark to Dunedin. Not giving up yet! #48 TFTC
On my way from Timaru to Omarama, I wanted to find some caches along the way to break the journey. After filling up my car with petrol, I went South. Mr. Giles, I won't forget about you! Thanks for hiding!
Called here this morning but did not find even though I had been searching within centimetres of it. Came back a bit later for a second try and this time success. Signed log, TFTC
Mr Giles, of farmer fame, is not the only one who thinks he can misappropriate public roads! Found with Kiwitien. TFTC.
Was in the South Island on some R&R with Mrs Yeetrees on our 3rd day now staying in Waimate to do some house keeping and chores, and of course pick up a few caches.
Decided that I would get up early before I was required to do some cleaning and go out and pick up a few caches, this was the next cache that I had on my list that I wanted to do today.
As I was down this road I decided that I might as well go a bit further along this road and see what and where this next cache was as well as see where this road was going to take me.
The drive to GZ didnt take too long and as I arrived near GZ I decided that I would park next to GZ and as I got out of the car I soon spotted a likely object, decided to check it out and was quite surprise how quickly I was able to find the cache.
Signed and replaced the cache back as found, thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (11848). Now it is time to see where this road is going to take me, whether I am on the right road or the wrong road.

I had a free transfer-a-car booked from Queenstown to Christchurch, so obviously I decided to head back to Christchurch via Invercargil to get a few "must have" caches. Teamed up with mrdan01 for this trip.
Cache was found after a couple of minutes. Thanks for the cache.

Day two of a weekend road trip with 2wombles. He had booked a free rental car between Queenstown and Christchurch, and was nice enough to invite me along for the ride! Naturally we decided to take the scenic route - via Invercargill and Dunedin, but unfortunately, we had to cut out the Catlins due to a flight delay at the start of the trip. I really enjoyed getting out to this part of our country that I don’t get to see very often, and there were plenty of laughs along the way too! TFTC (3569)
We thought we looked really hard for this one but it got the better of us unfortunately.
today was another nice day of holiday for us duchies in new zealand.
during our trip we also found lots of caches. this was one of them.
thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

The farmer certainly doesn't want any trespassers on his property with a sign like that. Found with debsnz.
Heading south for a wee family holiday. Family caught a cheap early flight down to Dunedin this morning...and will spend the day exploring Dunedin attractions...whilst I drive down to meet them...and find a cache or two along the way!
Wow. Go the farmer. But a paper road IS a paper road.....

Oooh can see a peak of water from here. quick grab of cache. Now to find a spot to turn around in. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc abxt350. Find # 3577
We did the night time thing up here, took a while to get my hands on it. Not the first road to get chopped by a farmer because it was an inconvenience!
Heading home to Christchurch after a weekend in Dunedin for the marathon, collecting some smiley faces along the way. Last one for the day. Put the phone away after this or we would still be caching at midnight!
Quick trip to Timaru, on a wet day so a wee bit of time to grab a few caches. - Thanks Bitsprayer
Any road leading to a cache can't be wrong in my books. Lovely views out to sea from up here. TFTC #8807
A long weekend plus good weather forecasted equals a caching trip away . It's been a while since we have travelled south of Christchurch - the Dunedin Mega of 2011 was the last trip so we decided to head for the caching riches of Oamaru.
The southern alps were picture postcard perfect with their white tops against the blue sky so made a great background to our enjoyable journey.
The map I did my planning from didn't have this road going through to Pareora, so it wasn't included in the list of caches to find. Once we saw the road did go through, it was a bonus find. TFTC.

#12453. We came to a side ride that turned out to be the right code. The cache was quickly found. TFTC.
