After searching the area we came up empty handed. I think this one is in need of replacement.
DNF even with 3 of us looking. Maybe owner may need to check its still there/replace after 3 DNF in a row Will check back next time visiting Townsville

Departed Melbourne several weeks ago now and have been travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel.
Finally made the northern warmth and the Cape and we have loved every minute of it now we are on our way home again and having many more adventures as we slowly travel south.
This morning we are travelled from Innisfail to Townsville via Silkwood (to get our gas heater fixed), and grabbed a couple of geocaches along the way and this afternoon we trekked around Townsville to check out the lay of the land.
Found in somewhat of the precurser to the log.
**Thanks for placing this cache emilywanders**

Junior geocachers we’re off and racing to find this one, but it was Bumblebee’s steady search that came up with the goods. Bilby extracted the box, and with squeals of excitement, her and Possum exchanged their trinkets. Possum returned the box back to its hiding place, and we were back on the road towards home. TFTC.
Apologies for the late log here (27.12.23) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.Last of the day as I car-camped close by. A long and busy one, but I'd had fun and knew I'd be back...TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
Found after a lunch stop here. At least there were no loaded cartridges here.

Found it at Sun set in the dark with my brother in 1 minute and first find. The trees are beautiful.
We almost always stop here on our to or from Townsville. Last year we met new friends here on an overnight stay, so precious memories.

After a few aborted attempts to grab a couple of caches on the drive north, this was a quick & easy park & grab. Cache in good order & fully stocked, grabbed the TB & left another. Nice one, TFTC!️0
#4255 A quick find while taking a rest stop. Found with GM who had been here before.
This cache is now back in place and full of swag. Please ensure the cache is placed far enough in the log that it cannot be seen by those passing by. Happy caching
I am temporarily disabling this cache until I can get out and check on it. HQ sent an email requesting I check on it due to all of the recent DNF's.
Couldn’t find it, there is loads of new mulch. We are wondering if they have cleaned up this area and took it away
Found it ....I think! At the coordinates but no blue cache. However an orange Stanley knife.. instead. Bit wary of poking around the leaves in the hollow log
We to found the knife but no cache. No luck for us today. Searched for 10 minutes and then searched a little more. Thanks for bringing us here regardless.

On the Road again, it’s a great to be out exploring the bush once more, after being in civilisation for almost two weeks for the CacheQld Mega
We found this one while along the way to Rollingstone, such beautiful rivers and creek crossings, even after the torrential downpours we have had in the last few days
Thanks for sharing this wonderful location

Taking a day trip from Townsville to Ingham and collecting a few caches along the way. This will be the furtherest north I have been in Queensland!
Thanks to the CO's who have placed caches in the areas we travel today - it is appreciated.

I made it to Townsville. 18 days on my bicycle cycling over 1850km from Toowoomba.
After catching up with friends and finding a few caches I am now heading North to Cairns.
I nice short hike to the cache and a quick find with Richmond Lad and Joojoo57.
Thanks for the adventures and cache.

Out and about today travelling up to Ingham for the day from Townsville, where we have been for the Mega Event over Easter. Thank you for bringing us to this location. Cached here with Brother Colin TFTC
With our caravan set up nearby, it was a very pleasant stroll along the path to GZ, where I quickly spotted the beautifully stocked geocache in the first spot I tried. It’s clear to see from the infrastructure that they’ve got something planned for this area, and I hope the cache survives after seeing that it’s original spot got destroyed – no reason to think it won’t, mind you. A lovely little walk, and a pleasant area, and plenty of trade items if you’re into that sort of thing. Enjoyed the experience.TFTC, emilywanders. =^.^=
I think the previous finder may have logged this late, possibly finding it before it was relocated, as the cache was in its expected position in accordance with the hint and the logbook was empty. The cache was in tip top condition as you would expect from being newly replaced. Thanks for getting it ready for Mega attendees. We decided to stay here for the night as it’s a lovely spot. Coordinates changed from:
S 19° 10.540 E 146° 33.038
Coordinates changed to:
S 19° 10.528 E 146° 33.051
Distance from original: 104.6 feet or 31.9 meters.
After recent upgrades to the area the original cache location was destroyed by council earth moving equipment. I have moved the cache to a close by location. The original hint is still relevant. This cache is now well stocked full of treasures and is ready for the upcoming mega event.

Not looking good,
It's day 21 of our extended trip to the Townsville MEGA from Sydney via Karrumba and Cairns.
looked everywhere but suspect that due to all the work going on, it may have vanished.

Current Construction Site over cache site but all other facilities at large resting area okay, water taps here for us thirsty cycle tourers.
I just had a look for this at the loaded log and couldn’t locate it. Looks like there has been a little bit of activity nearby running subsoil cabling. I have replaced with a cliplock container, with a log, pen, a stubby cap remover, a “football” painted shell and placed in the end of the log and covered with hard bark. Hope that is ok
I still couldn't find this one after your check. Seems there is work going on there.
I checked on this recently and it is definitely still there. The container was looking a little worse for wear so I plan on replacing it later this week.
Sadly didnt find it. It was pouring with rain. Hopefully we'll get it next time.
Found our very first trackable we r on a trip from cairns to out past Dalby will take him for a ride!
Great little find whilst camping here. Kids swapped a treasure that they found at Etty Bay. Thanks for the hunt.
Just 4 finds today. SWMBO isn't keen to take the RAM on any more 4WD Tracks, and her crook knee means she's not going to do a lot of walking trail ones either. So today we just drove north for some fish and chips, logging caches on our way.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** Ian found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said he should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Dropped Trackable:** "Ray the Ray from Sentosa".
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

We searched and decided maintenance was needed. Thanks great spot to come with the caravan.
