#9265. It was already dark and near dinner time. Went for a short walk from Gladstone Road on Bluff Hill. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Found after a short search. It was certainly a great nesting spot. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement and for bringing us to this site, and …

Always good to be back in the Bay. Even on a pretty damp day that this one was.
Out and about finding a few caches with team cacher zboywonder. This was one of those.
A straightforward find on this one, once we had got down low enough!
All in order, log signed, cache safely re-hidden, just as found.
I visited here with the boywonder, z that is.

With GPS being jumpy it took longer than should have but after careful consideration of the clue I got there
Had to wait while a lady went past. She wondered what we were up to so we pretended to be looking for a cat!!
SisterCorny travelling Asia and Oceania for four month, now in New Zealand.
Day 2 in Napier, we made a bigger sightseeing and cacheing walk around town in rainy weather but enjoying it anyhow...
Yes, we were luccky as well that there are stil school holidays and hardly anybody around who could have seen us rolling on the floor searching for this cache. Shortly before giving up, we found the well hidden container... TFTC

It took us far too long!
Were about to give up, when I decided to have one last look - there it was!
Thanks for the hint!!

We made a valiant attempt to spot this cache in a dirty and smelly area, but without success.
How anyone would find this without the advantage I had of total muggle-freeness I do not know. If anyone had come down those stairs to find me stretched out on the ground, looking up under the hedge... Found at last, after far too much twigs/leaves/dust falling into my eyes. Thanks for placing this cache. I felt like I really deserved the smiley after all my work!
I wandered up the hill from the 'beach' to chase Hospital Hill caches
And so began a tragic trail of DNF's
First stop ...
... The stairway to caching hell [:o]
I wandered up and down the stretch of path for at least 20 minutes looking for any sign of what is apparently an obvious hiding place
No luck !!
I tried again a bit later as I wandered back past on the way between a couple of other DNF's up this hill

I liked the location of this one, and you have described it well. Thanks for the find on our walk back from a visit to the museum on our last day in Napier.
I had 30 minutes to kill whilst between appointments so decided to knock off a few caches. Not been here since my daughters used to come to this school over 10 years ago. A quick find, TFTC
Here in Napier attending a reunion - would be rude not to get a few caches along the way....
Heading up Bluff hill - here is a quick stop on the way. Located cache pretty quickly - but then seemed to take ages before I could relocate while waiting for the fitness freaks running up and down the steps.
Grabbed a TB to take home to the South.

Banian and I found this cache on our autumn northern roadtrip- where we did a circuit of the north island from Wellington right up to Raglan, then across to Napier through Taupo, before heading home, finding masses of caches and discovering a plethora of unique and interesting locations.
Rolled around under the hedge for a minute before finding the cache. Very clever hide, TFTC

Found with Redants on our April Holidays Road Trip to Raglan and back. Yesterday was spent around Taupo, today its Taupo to Napier, fine weather and light traffic made for a good day. School holidays so very quiet.

Had a quick look for this but decided not the best one for 2 senior citizens to do so abandoned it.
Checked on this this morning with Miss G and it's sitting there waiting for you to find
Last search on our short stay in Napier so it was a bit disappointing to end it without a find.
It looked like we had the right spot but a sudden heavy downpour put an end to our search without finding any trace of the treasure. Without any sign of a geotrail (since the cache is too new for one yet), searching in this scrubby foliage is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Never mind - there are loads of great new caches around Hawke's Bay to look for next time.

Found a perfectly good pair of shoes but no cache. My theory is that someone was murdered in those shoes and the murderer stashed them there because there was evidence. Oh well, Kirstie and I now both have our fingerprints on them lol
We had to search a large area to find this cache. Not sure what the hint referred too we did have a few guesses but not sure. Tftc
The co-ordinates were spot on for us using our GPS. Cache is well hidden though.
We wanted to figure out the hint- but we didn't we thought it might be something to do with bingo??? Found the cache after a bit of searching. Lots of people walk along here. TFTC
Found after a bit of searching. nice to have another sizable container in Napier. Still no idea what the hint was referring to?

FTF with Botherway buccaneers. Lots of places to search but found with the torch. TFTC
