Went for a look, discussed with co, not there

After spending the weekend in New Plymouth we thought we would do a few caches around town before heading home and Mr S decided that Mrs S really really needed a view of the mountain. Every time we have been here it has had it's head in the clouds and she had become convinced that actually, there was no mountain. BUT......today it revealed itself in all it's glory. Would you look at that. There is a mountain. Beautiful with it's new cape of snow.
Unfortunately we could not find this cache. After an extensive hunt we gave up, we do need to get home today.

In New Plymouth as part of my long weekend break. I thought I will try this one as its by Glyn. But I think Bison Found the trail, and decided to run ahead. No luck for me here today.
Pretty hard to look here today as there was an open house next door.
The GPS was all over the place, so we gave up the search fairly quickly.

I intended to go for a walk and this seemed like a good place to start...hunting for this cache took longer than I wanted...the GPS was jumping around and many items matching the clue but I got there eventually and then had a "short walk" as it was getting dark and I had to turn around. TFTC
Looked around rather widely, quite unnecessarily, for a while and then thought about previous finders comments and then went straight to the hide. nonchalantly abiding its ti me at the trail head. so it was signed and returned and we were on our way to find the Scout hall cache but we never did find the right way to go so that remain with out A SMILEY Face. Thank you for this cache and another smiley face.
Thought it might have been a piggy, but no, a bison instead. No problems locating the cache and nice to find one of yours down here. TFTC
Found With adventurestenning. We were struggling a little with the light. Did little to late. Nice hide. TFTC
An evening walk from our nearby motel brought us here, almost too late, as it was getting rather dark, however the hint was very helpful and we found it easily at the second tree we checked,
Must come back again and have a wander down the path.

Was going to log a dnf, but I had one last look and hello geocache! Tftc, didn't know this track was down here
(1817) Out caching with Skibow1 to collect some caches around New Plymouth. Thanks for taking us to some interesting spots.
Stunning afternoon in Pukekura Oaek and environs. Close to the area Gadget D grew up. Lovely walks. Tftc
Well hidden which took me far longer than it should have to find it.... and where was it? Oh thats right, right next to where I had put my hand originally. Tftc (and at least today when I accidentally stood in dog poop I realized before getting in the car, oh the joys of caching. ..
Found tonight on a twilight caching mission for caches I couldn't find with Gnome62. Thanks.
Found, finally! Don't know why I missed the first time. Found with fledgling cacher muzzmo14.
Found this cache and while doing so also a "container" that will be ideal for a future cache of my own. Many likely spots here to look and we weren't having much like finding the right tree. Then while jumping behind a big tree to avoid detection by muggle car we found it! TFTC
one for the last of the year, and a day off with gem, TFTC, nice hide and nice place for a walk
I braved the crowds and madness that is Christmas Eve and went shopping for one last present, after which I made my way to a less populated area of town to grab a breather. I checked my GPS for nearby caches and was pleased to see that this one was only a little over 1km away.
The compass needle was jumping around a bit at the cache site, but after checking a few possible locations I soon spotted it and had it signed. Thanks for the cache.

On a night mission with the girls, after being staunched out by a massive bush spider, cache was soon in hand. TFTC
had a look the other day but ran out of time, not sure why we ran out of time cos went straight to it today. TFTC
Found this morning after a short search, biggest problem was locating the right tree as there were several possibilities and the correct one wasn't what the GPSr was pointing me to. Signed log, TFTC!
I'd tried to get FTF on this cache but that's another log entry. Tonight was a better evening with no rain so much more favourable. Participating in Taranaki Orienteering Club's Urban Rogaine took me right by this geocache. Didn't seem right to not avail myself of the opportunity to find it this time. Interesting to note that the cache was exactly where I'd looked on the previous occasion. Must've been an issue of the black bison that threw me then. TFTC
Seriously tricky find! Thanks for the extra encouragement from the other note leavers!
Took a while and a few visits, maybe not one for smartphones as GZ was not where the phone said it was, but Mrs Bear found the right tree. Sorry no room for a tb. This one is a wrap. Mission accomplished TFTC! Welcome to New Plymouth G-2 (or are you visiting? Blenheim Bear

Luckily I am one who reads all the info, so found this cache really fast (for me). No time for a bush walk, sadly. TFTC
On my way to a job, and as the rain had stopped decided to have a go to get this one. My cell phone was all over the place so had to use my GPS unit which worked well.Had no sooner picked up cache than I got busted by Smilez4eva.2nd TF SL TFTC
Very wet underfoot and had to do a bit of a search but soon in hand. tftc G--2 {FTF}
Out and about this morning, stopped to find this one and met PricelessTime with the container in his hands. TFTC
