Nice little spot, I cam some cattle drinking in the creek. Thanks for the location!

Ocw the Bebes. We are travelling today from Calliope to Biloela so thought we would stop off for this one. We had the caravan in tow so stopped in a gravel pit not too far from the entry track and walked in. Found after a little searching. Tftc

OCW PelDroedGwin, towing the caravan with geodog Peppa and geocat Levin in the car heading towards Biloela.

Parked up in the gravel trap on the opposite side of the road.

Followed the track back to the bridge, crossed the creek, only ankle deep today, to arrive at a lovely location and a memorial.

Circled a few options before uncovering the container, complete with lid.

Thank you for taking us to this secret spot.

Tftc

Found in a beautiful spot with a lovely memorial to a local lady's favourite spot. I couldn't think of a better location for a cache.

That was our micro adventure for today. Left the bus under the bridge and walked the rest of the way, had to fill up one deep wash out with rocks to get there. As we were ready to give up the search we spotted it. Let's say it that way, it's hidden under the most protective of the trees.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 127. Gladstone to Dingo via Biloela and Dululu. I seemed to have chosen an unbalanced day with over 300 km to do, based on my last few days of travel, I should have stopped some where along the way and Biloela would have been a nice place to stop. I had a look around while doing a multi. Dululu was much smaller, but there was a food van at the van park that looked like a bit of an adventure. I stopped in Dingo and walked over to the pub for sinner and then slept to the dulcet sound of coal trains every 30mins or so.

Even though I found the trail off the highway without any problems, it then took me three trips to the water to locate the one track that could be forded. I was glad I persisted and made it to Z, the area on this little hillock was very nice.

Thanks for the cache Bundyrumandcoke

19/6/21 Found a film canister lid at prickly sucker. Disappointing that a tree nearby has rubbish in it. Lovely spot. Lovely memorial. Loads of leaf litter at GZ. Long time since last found. TFTC SL

On my way to Blackall for QOGM2019 and had to come past this done. It has been a few years since my last aborted attempt and there has been a lot of changes to the area. Only one way down to the creek now. Made my way towards GZ and was disappointed at the the garden type rubbish just put in the middle of the shrubbery.( some garden hose and some black plastic plant pots and a sack). Found a container and no lid. Left New 35mm Black film canister and new log in clip seal bag at posted co Ordinates, or within 2 meters there of.

Driving past again this morning,
I noticed that the area has been fenced off,
and there is no vehicle access any more !! [:o]

Given the previous DNF's,
I didn't chase this one !! Red Face

We drove past today, noting the height of the floodwaters. It should have survived.

RIP Beth. I loved the whole story on the memorial - Enjoyed walking through the stream But my gps is playing up and kept sending me off into the bush - So I concentrated on the memorial - couldn't find anything hidden there. Only realised I could re-set the gps later that day.

06-Sep-16
a quick trip down to Rocky and a planned visit with Temingi
a day trip with company, doing some maintenance ... and grabbing a few caches along the way
after a drive a little ways down the Boyne,
detoured out here for a look
but will admit that I chickened out on the 4X option
and used the excuse of needing to stretch the legs to wander over for closer inspection
read the info, then two sets of eyes started looking
had to revisit where the partner in crime for the day had already looked to find the prize Big Grin
but found it we did
thanks for the cache Bundy
nice spot [^]

Last one for today, and what a gem it is. Thanks for sharing this one with us, we've driven over this Creek many times, on other bridges/ culverts on a different road and thought it would be nice for a paddle. But for me the nicest part was the remembrance of a lady who sounds like she would have been a kindred spirit had I met her. Did a little cito on the way back out. All is well here. Tftc

Nice easy find while out with GeoDad, I have been swimming here a few times and didn't know this was up here. TFTC!!

When we arrived at GZ I thought this one might be a little tricky to find because of the many likely hidee holes, so I was looking at my GPS, scrolling through the logs to see if there might be a bit of a clue about where to start the search....... don't know why I bothered really because while I was doing that GeoSon had already found it

Was out at Calliope and decided to do the dash for this new cache. Problem with a swimming hole in summer is that many muggles are around! Will have to bring swimmers next time and go on a covert operation. I'll be back Bundy...

19-Nov-15
Attempted this one, but due to running water and been late in the Arvo and wearing good dress clothes I gave this one a miss and will Mark it on the list of next time I come through.

Very nice spot
Thanks

What a great little spot! Driven past many times, completely unaware this was even here. Some running water meant even Fourby got its feet wet.
Cheers Bundy TFTC

Tftc. Got us up and going early this morning. And delighted to be our first time at this often passed location. A thoughtful moment at the memorial. RIP Beth. And then a nice play with the munchkins. Bring a picnic to this cache. And a towel.
