Hi MelroseWildDogs your geocache needs replacing
Far to many DNF's
Please replace it asap

Could not find it after looking in the obvious spots. The camper-muggle whose tent was inches from GZ guessed what I was doing - he too was disappointed in the lack of my success. Many, many children around. What chance does a cache have in this environment unless it's very tiny and hidden well? A regular sized cache would be muggled often.
No luck for this old timer and some newbies. With an Easter egg in the same location I suspect it has been muggles.
While being the only camping guest of the campground across the dry creek, I took the opportunity to add a smiley on my map in a lovely 35° warm breeze.
Without reading the logs, I identified the cache as rubbish first, as it shared its hiding place with other real rubbish.
So I did some CITO and hid the tin properly to be identified as cache instead of rubbish, of course without changing its location.

Couldn’t find any evidence of mint tin of otherwise lots of trash around. Oh well
Took the liberty of replacing the cache with a new container a few small swaps. No sign of log. Caution must be used please as I only had a mint tin which has not been camouflaged! Lovely spot worthy of a geocache!
Replaced cache and took liberty of signing new log. A blistering 35 degree day and only fools and geocachers out in this weather!
Had a quick look then we noticed there were a lot of other DNF's so we stopped looking.
I went and looked for a while, but someone must have taken it, seemed like a good spot though.
We really tried hard to find this cache but we couldn't.
Maybe another time...
Thanks anyway MelroseWildDogs

Campground is a busy place in the school holidays. I was camped only 150m away so how could I neglect to find this TFTC
I'm glad there weren't any bikes out this afternoon - too hot for them and too stressful for me!! TFTC
Came to Melrose for a milkshake and a couple of caches on a pretty hot day.
Thought the cache was missing from previous logs, but looked anyway and found the replacement. [^]
Thanks for the cache MelroseWildDogs.

Sad to say by this couldn't be found, at least not by me, or the Stanley Titans. We tried with 8 eyes, then with 4 more, then finally with 22 eyes!!! It was not to be seen:(. What a great area Melrose is to visit.
Found by accident whilst wandering around the area with the family, and thought to check it out. It appears the trackable that was supposed to be there has gone missing, as it is certainly not in the container, so have informed the owner. Beautiful spot and the creek was flowing for a change, although this year that seems to be happening quite often.
Found easily while remaining inconspicuous amongst the campers. TFTC MelroseWildDogs!
Nice spot across the creek. Was found a little too easily so hidden a bit better before we left in same spot. TFTC MelroseWildDogs.
The cache was very exposed so we pushed it into its hidey hole a little further!! Found with AussieM&M and GrimsTattoo!! Thanks for the hide!!
Im not at all sure what the cache name means or the clue about light.. My GPS had the cache about 5metres away from GZ.
We pulled up at the camping area, thought we had a great spot, then noticed the bike track just there so then moved about 80m away to set up camp.
After that we looked for caches and saw this one with or track trail right over the top of it.
Went back and made the quick find before heading off for tea

Camping just 83m from GZ we didn't get to this GZ until the morning we packed up.
Sent the geokids over to find it and they brought it back to camp! lol
We disposed of the old cache container and placed the contents in the newer one.
Took the cache back after the nearby campers had decamped.
A great spot here and we WILL be back!

Thanks

Went for a nice afternoon walk with Neeko73 and families, but of course we had to get the few caches that have appeared since our last Melrose visit.
A quick find by me in the first place I looked. TFTC.

After our Rocky River Visit. Discovered cache quickly, Dropped off the first Geocoin from Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany for the students to have a look at. A well placed cache, across from the Caravan Park, many people travelling are geocachers, I have met lots. This cache could even be a Trackable Hotel. TFTHSL
