Nice quick find. Log very wet but thankfully waterproof so easy to sign. Enjoying our caching adventure TFTC
I chose well a day like today to come up to Wenderholm, it's a gorgeous warm Sunday and I'm loving riding around on my great little e-bike. Not too many people around like I have seen before, but notably lots of seniors walking around. I almost got muggled by 2 of them as I looked for this hide, just got it signed and returned when I noticed them. Great little hide G, that container blends in so well. Paper slightly damp, still a whole page to go, but as you know, the ink passes right thru, hard to see if I'm overwriting someone's previous signature or not. Now off up to the end of the beach and my last cache for the day.
**#20,927**In between Ad LAb stages another cache to tick off, this one was out of view of any muggles but there were a variety of spots it could be hidden, tried about 5 different spots before it was nabbed, thanks G2 for another TNLN TFTC
On a beautiful morning stroll I came across this cash in the nice Wenderin regional park. TFTC

Found this one while doing the adventure lab. There was a Party at Bach so we had to be quite sleuth like. TFTC
Second time out caching, and first find for Mrs Cliff! Had a bit of fun with the GPS on this one, but once we got to the right spot, the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC!
Another quick find before going for a swim. The tui are already feasting on early blooming Pohutukawa. TFTC!
Have found this cache before but revisited it to drop of a TB I picked up from another cache
Found it while out with the kids. Was on the ground when we found it, but tucked it back in the hollow.
Find #728Found while walking Te Araroa - new Zealands long pathway from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Thank you to all the cache owners who place and maintain these caches, and thank you to all the people who help me and others on the way. Quick find here, not sure how it doesn't fall out but its in there tightly. Cache was in good condition
Out here camping, thought it would be rude not to try and get some of the local caches
A beautiful day out here today. Perfect weather and sea breeze. A couple of wee toys for the kids. TFTC.
So pleased it's in a lovely quiet area as the crowds are starting to arrive and they are all over the place, particularly where you least expect them. Many years since we have been to Wenderholm so it's lovely visiting it again. Cache is all good. TFTC
I liked the sound of the ocean and a nice shady spot to rest after a bike ride. Lots of nice interesting trees around.
We have been here many times but did not even know about this wenderholm beach house TFTC
stopped at this nice place on our way north to walk a bit.
easy find.
Thank you for the cache

Sanne found it using intuition while we both argued over who's gps was least wrong fun day exploring this area for my first time. Thanks
We decided to spend the day here, exploring the area, as we'd never been here before.
We did the lab cache series and the caches around the point before stopping for lunch, and then doing the peninsula walk.
It took a moment or two to find the right spot, but thankfully there were no muggles here to trouble me.
Thanks for putting this here

Nice and easy find, just the way I like it. No Tui in this tree today. But plenty in others!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Unfortunately the Rui had fallen out of its nest so we replaced where we thought it should be and covered with some leaf litter. Nice spot. TFTC
It was on the ground. I have put back in hollow. There is a gap for it to fall through so please check placement when
returning it. TFTC

Quick and easy find on my second attempt at this one! Gorgeous location for a great find!
Travelled up to Auckland for the Mega this weekend and to visit our daughter. Stayed the night in Owera. Mr Rubbishparty cycled to Wenderholm this morning, but we both returned this afternoon. Quick find at GZ, surprisingly very few muggles in this part of the park. Cache all fine. TFTC
We let Miss 11 take charge of finding this one, and sure enough she did! Beautiful morning walk from the campground. Such a beautiful place.
A nice quick find on the way to the end, thanks.
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we toured north of Orewa, visiting some regional parks and beaches. Choice.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Updating my new geo account with my old finds. Geokid has grown out of the geo adventures, but I'm still keen! Found as thebrownehornet but not logged, with keylev and B4Dawn and finally logging 31 03 2024 as NurseDr.
Day out with Keyley, Iceman and an old Team SEAC member! The task to day was to clear our this park and get thos numbers as much as we could! Crazy productive!
I was looking in the completely wrong tree and Keylev and OTSEAC found it reasonably quickly. We soon stopped for lunch.

Decided to make the most of another lovely Auckland day and explore this regional park with NZ Iceman, B4Dawn and The Browne Hornet.
As we walked up The Browne Hornet said 'I bet its in there' but B4Dawn and I said 'nah, GPS still a little further away'. Turns out she was right...doh!
Thanks for the cache.

The borders opened five days ago and I headed down from Whangarei the day after. I'm really enjoying visiting the family I haven't seen in months.
I was out with the extended crew today doing the Ad Lab. We did some of the labs then took the kids for a dip in the water. We saw quite a few doteral on the beach so that was neat.
We then had a snack and carried on with the Ad Lab collecting this one on the way. A quick easy find in this beautiful reserve. I showed my two year old Grandson my treasure hunting game. Thanks for the cache

With virtually no unfound caches available around Whangarei and the Auckland border reopening three days ago, I thought I had better make the most of the opportunity to grab some caches and the Reach the Peak souvenir, before Aunty J uses Omicron as an excuse to lock us up again.....
The plan was to head to Wenderholm and clear that area out, but the newish trail out to Mahurangi also looked appealing, especially as it is one place I have driven past 100's of times but never actually visited. That's one of the great things about caching - visiting new places..
Into the Wenderholm caches proper now. Found a nice shady parking spot to leave the cache mobile for the day. One of the benefits of getting there early I suppose. It was certainly packed out by the time I had completed all the local caches.
Took a little while for the gps to settle properly under the trees, but one it did so, the cache was a nice quick find in the hint location. TFTC

Nate once again managed to get this one while I was focused on the near by adventure lab
We were a bit confused about the hint but when the GPS decided to work properly we managed to find it

Not sure about the name of the cache giving us a clue, but I did spot a likely place and saw the cache. Tried to be clever replacing it out of sight and it fell out of a hole in the back. Put it back again where it could balance.
Back at Wenderholm today to collect some of the caches that we missed on our last visit. This was our first find of the day. Spotted the likely hiding spot and soon had our hands on the cache.
Not so many Tuis but lots of fan tails that were not very scared of us at all. HNY
GPS took a while to settle so ended up circling a few options .
Got it eventually . Thanks

AliGle and I took the opportunity this afternoon to go for a wander around Wenderholm and grab a few caches while we were here. Took a little while for the GPS to settle here, but we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC!
An afternoon visit to Wenderholme with Vistra. Grabbing a few caches while we are here. Beautiful day for it. GPS bouncing around. No tuis today.
I wasn't sure about a singing Tui but found the cache all the same. The ranger seems to be stalking us as there were several drive-bys as we wandered along.
Great day for geocaching with inss
We haf to search for this one
Great hide Thank you for the cache

After using the IP address back the way we headed on a loop of the headland and estuary. mrs headed on and I started the search after the coordinates initially played up a little. Soon had the cache in hand and replaced as found. T F T C G-2
Another capperz in Auckland day out. Waiwera followed by Wenderholm and a good day out it was too. The great thing about being new in the area is that a lot of the places we visit are for the first time for mrs c and a revisit from fleeting previous toe-dips for me, mostly. I'd been to Waiwera before, but not gone into the nearby Regional Park so a good idea to do that today.
Parked up on the 30 minute slot and reckoned we had time to get the three nearby caches in that time, and use the facilities too. Nice and quiet here and able to sample the warm foreshore as the tide came in.

This took us longer than it should have with the GPS bouncing round. Didn't hear any tui but quite pleased they weren't above as I was scabbling round underneath. Very relieved to here those magic words ring out and allow us to move on. TFTC # 16,087
On a geocaching expedition from Nelson. Way back in February Isis58, no.13 and I planned a trip to Auckland for the planned Mega event. When Covid struck and the country went into lockdown we decided to wait and see what happened - - that was less hassle than trying to get refunds on our flights anyway. Well, of course the Mega event was cancelled but luckily for us, flying was an option again by Labour Weekend. We changed some of the details of our trip but decided we would fit in as much caching as we could. We were joined by Mrs SoBad. We visited some amazing places, fitted in some walks, came across lots of people - - lots of traffic too. A huge thank you to the COs for hiding caches which presented us with puzzles to solve, took us to great places, were cleverly camouflaged, were cunningly hidden - - sometimes in plain sight - - all of the above and of course an equal thank you for the ones that just gave us one more smilie. We really really appreciated them all. Thanks !
It was found on the way to the end so we didn't need to look on the way back. Really enjoying the area and Mrs SoBad hopes to return with SoBad to do the Perimeter walk in future as it was missed out today. Signed as INSS.
Thanks.
Thanks.
What an interesting little house on the middle of nowhere

Nice find with woolwood9 today.
*We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.*
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
TFTC
*Took some searching but found and thought the co-ords are ok and not well out as suggested in logs which really delayed us finding this one.*

GPSr had us a fair way away, and not where a cache could be (but then that was somewhat expected under the tui pershes.
Had search many possible hides with no luck, was being to think that I would have to leave it as the others were getting restless (the problem with caching with muggles).
The I realised I had only spread my search area in the direction we had approached, and not the other direction... cache soon found. TFTC
