With a couple of weeks annual leave, we have decided to bring ourselves down to Tassie for a break. Why Tassie? We have visited once before and loved it, but didn't have sufficient time to see much, and 2nd, Tassie was the only state/territory that we had not cached in, and 3rd, the weather is cooler than we have been experiencing in Victoria.
Day 3 We hadn't decided to stop at Smithton or Stanley until we reached the junction of the road, and just like that, we turned to Smithton. After a very warm night with no air-conditioning, we were up early to catch some morning fresh air, and a couple of caches before moving down the coast.
Another morgan.2014 cache sadly archived. We found the sneaky hide pretty quickly.
TFTC, SL and put snuggly back in place.

An easy find, after enjoying some of the best oysters I've ever had just across the bridgTFTC
Travelling around Tassie for a couple of weeks with MizzJane.
Finding some caches as we go.
This was one of them.
A wild, wet & windy scene greeted us this morning, which has changed our plans a bit.
Found and signed the log.
All in good condition.

In Tassie with family doing a short trip around this lovely island. We saw some amazing scenery, wildlife and visited some beautiful places while touring around in our motorhome. I took the opportunity to stop and grab any caches when we could stop. We only had a few DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the trip. We had some fun and laughs along the way.
Found while wandering around this nice little township. A quick find at GZ.
Thanks morgan.2014 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

My first find in Tassie! A quick grab while in town for a visit. A busy intersection at this time of morning but managed to make the find in between traffic. TFTC.
After checking out of a nearby hotel, I thought I'd clear a few caches in Smithton. This one was quickly spotted and TFTC.
A really quick find after purchasing the hottest coffee I've ever had. Easy find due to the hint but well hidden. TFTC
Day Two of our holiday in Tassie. Bettyboo3747 and I are staying in Stanley.
Today we drove to the West coast and admired the views (and blew away a few cobwebs!), and did a few caches. We then had a bit of a look at the Tarkine.
Wow! they must be making TBs very small these days - this cache was supposed to be holding 4 of them, and we couldn't see any!
An nice memorial here and a good suburban hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

#14275. Day 2 of our 3 week Tasmanian trip and we are staying at Stanley. Today it was time for Robmc and me to head westwards for some sight-seeing and picking up of random caches along the way. Once again we are noticing cache maintenance is not something that seems to happen too often in this part of the State.
Another teensy, weensy micro-sized container with 4 trackables supposed to be in it Well, they ain't and haven't been for a long time so it would be really great for them to be marked as "MISSING" to remove them from this cache's inventory.
Thanks morgan.2014

After we found somewhere to park, we had to work out how to not be too noticeable. The parking was easier. The cache was quickly located, signed and returned as inconspicuously as possible. There were no TB's in the cache and don't know how they would fit. Thanks for the cache.
Driving around town collecting smilies, this was first find after lunch. Thanks for bringing me here. A quick find, sign and return.
Me geocaching pilgrimage took me to the hall this morning
Yet it wasn't the hall I was really interested in [:o]
The nearby war memorial was what I was really interested in
And I found a cache there,
likety split !!
TFTC and a bit more Smithton history [^]

Hi there morgan.2014.
We cached around Smithton today - and found your cache **"Gospel Hall"** at 3:27:00 PM. (This brings our total find count to 18424).
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 3 caches (& DNF'd 1).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Note:** *The listed trackables are not in the cache* - there's no way even one could fit in the container. Could morgan.2014 (or the Trackable owner) please "Mark the Item as Missing" so it can be removed from the cache inventory. This option is under Actions on the trackable's web page).
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Like a previous logger remarked - the container is far too small to hold one trackable, let alone three! What is the go with all those trackables logged into this cache?? Anyway we found the rocks fascinating and SL at 10.35am #4930 Thanks morgan.2014
Quick easy find after a wonderful tour of Woolnorth and Cape Grim by Woolnorth Tours.
