19-Jul-20
Very cool! Though unlabelled

04-Jul-20
Log is saturated and jammed in. Was able to sign the make shift plastic protection left around another wet log. I like these hides, been a pity logs aren't usable in some. TFTC.

03-Jul-20
This one is such a cool cache! It wasn't quite on the coordinates but once I took a step back and thought about it I soon had the cache in hand. The log book is complete mush... but I signed a second one someone else has placed in it. The cache is holding up well but it needs a new log book. I didn't have one on me otherwise I would have done it myself. The cache is nicely back in it's spot. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC

03-Jul-20
Followed the obvious geotrail to GZ, but struggled to find the cache. Dug around bit and found it away from where the hint suggested. As others have reported, the log sheet was soaked, and my pencil didn’t work on the piece of tissue a previous finder had left! Photo attached as proof of find. TFTC

What a fun cache! Came out on this track specifically for these awesome themed caches at the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately the log paper is wet and starting to fall apart.

29-Feb-20
A really good container. Nice quick find... gave me an excuse to wait around for the army of muggles ahead of me to move around the corner. Tftc!

18-Jan-20
Another in the series of un- frog-ettable caches. This one is definitely worth the hunt. Waterproof log paper was full, additional paper was sodden and ripping. I signed it carefully and left a page from my waterproof notebook for future cachers. Thanks Mr & Mrs SAROC.

With such glorious Spring weather on offer, I decided to have the afternoon off off in order to travel down to Porirua and Tawa in order to grab my 2000th cache (one I had in mind) and at the same time have a crack at getting the 32 caches I needed to complete 50 for the month of September (a personal requirement) by taking a decent walk around the headland at Titahi Bay starting at the Titahi Bay Boating Club and walking around to Whitireia Park before cutting back through past the Golf Club.

In the end I managed to get 30 caches, the last 8 or 9 being found in the dark, before I called time on my attempt knowing I would be able to complete my task over the coming weekend, so all in all I had a great afternoon in the sun, which is what a great deal of Geocaching means for me.

This one was a relatively straightforward find once I had sussed out exactly where to search. I was rewarded with a very nice looking cache container, and the attentions of a curious dog which appeared out of nowhere and wanted to know what I was doing. The owner then appeared and so I had to explain what I was up to, which was well received. I'm not sure we have a new cacher, but at least she seemed interested. Unfortunately the logsheet is completely soaked, and unsignable, so I have taken a photo as proof of find.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.

# 1652 Out on a mission with the DangerBOY today to pick up a few caches to help me along for the 35 required for the Mystery at the Museum Challenge. We started on the balance bike but after a short while we were in the pram, and boy that was fun to push around this track. A great selection of very cool cache containers - i think i will use up all my favourite points on this trail! Thanks to SAROC and others for a great adventure, that kept the DangerBOY amused for the whole three hours it took!

Nice easy one, that avoided and climbing in completely inappropriate footwear. DangerSAM enjoyed the container and counting all the shapes.

Me and a another fellow cacher (Juddy) decided to plan a weekend away, so we met part of the way to Wellington, we stopped off to help a fellow geocacher then it was on the road again we arrived at the accommodation site about 8pm set up for the night then ready for the adventure the next two days. Morning hit and it was time to get set for the day, Hit the road again headed for Owhiro Bay , what an amazing day we deffinately chose the right weekend for geocaching and adventure. Unloaded the 4 wheeler and prepared for today's journey as far as we could depending on tides and time. Heaps of muggles around hard to be undetected and not look out of place people we all acknowledging you as you passed them by, great atmosphere made the day so cool nice people to talk to even got offered Paua to take home but unfortunately we had no where to cook it, we helped them by transporting some Paua from A to B. Managed to get all the caches but unfortunately had one Did not find for the day disappointing but just a bit hard for us to get to. We stopped at Tongue point for lunch a well deserved rest by this time. Then we continued on our way got a few more caches then got to a point that we could not gain access any further without entering the sea. Finally it was time to head back to the van load up the 4 wheeler in the van and headed out for dinner and then realized I had left my wallet behind at the accommodation, My mate paid for me luckily. Finally back to the accommodation for a shower and a rest an early night was had. left nothing took nothing and signed log and placed cache back where it was found. Thank you for placing a cache out here we really had a great day if it wasnt for caching we would probably never come out here and missed out on this amazing place and adventure.
Well its now sunday and we are still in the wellington area only moved a few kilometre's north to this vicinity as we were staying in the local NZMCA park and today we are venturing in this area to pick up some of the caches around whiteria park.
So it's now on to the next one.
Thanks for the placement and the smiley.

I remember this one
Found while either going to the Mega or attending the Mega or coming home from the Mega.
We left home mid day on Wednesday heading for the Mega and arrived at the Cossie club car park late Friday afternoon where we stayed all weekend with kind permission from the club. It was a great weekend meeting others and going out geocaching including a trek up into the hills above Nae Nae. I really enjoyed that trek as the caches were placed usually within 200 m from each other. It was great to get to the top of the ridge and return most of the way down via another track. Unfortunatly we didn't have time to stay and ride the river trails but we will be back
Many thanks to all the C.O.s who place caches around the country for us to find and enjoy this hobby/sport. with out people like You Caching wouldn't exist

It's the second week of the school holidays and my kids have cabin fever. I decided to bring them out here for a bit of an adventure. I thought some fresh air and geocaching (away from the modem and their devices) might be a nice change for them. For the second time this week, I came out to this area while my wife stayed home to do whatever she likes for a few hours.

I had roughly the same plan as last time I was out here. My idea was for us to find as many caches as we could along the trail in the available daylight. We picked up where I left off last time and carried on around the headland.

Being a very pleasant Wednesday afternoon the track was quite busy with people and dogs. In fact, the weather was so nice (sun shining, not much wind) it didn't seem like Winter at all. My kids have not been on this track before. They had a great time throwing stones, running, jumping and laughing. Good times.

The cache is in good condition. A very cool container. My kids loved it.

Thank you

Cherrys Rule

It took a little bit of checking various likely locations before the find was made here, but we were enjoying a leisurely stroll on a beautiful winter's day so were happy to take our time.
We certainly knew we'd found it when the container was spotted.
Thanks for setting this up Mr & Mrs SAROC

On a walk around the inlet with the dogs this morning. This was one of the caches around here that I hadn’t yet done. As I hadn’t planned on looking for any, didn't have a pen with me. Failed to spot it straightaway because I didn’t look closely enough initially. However it was there to be found. I have a photo as evidence! Nifty setup! #1747. TFTC.

29-Mar-18
I enjoyed a very pleasant late afternoon stroll to find this today. With 15 Planetary Pursuit points up for grabs that would get me to 500 and Pluto how could I stay away. A silver lining to the DNF the first time I looked. A very nicely made container as well. I'll give it another Favourite Point for a number of reasons.

Cheers and TFTC
