Sorry guys but it ain't there no more. Searched high and low, then high again then even higher and behind. Confirmed with some previous finders that I had the right location.
Sorry Rats but a cache check seems to be in order [B)]

GZ seemed to be spot on and we were sure we would have had the goodies in hand in no time...water not too cold at this time of year so no problem with shivers or icecream headaches it was 7pm in the evening,so no problem with muggles.... but searched and poked and climbed and reached and even did chin ups and in the end resorted to phone a friend in the end, but still no container....but loved the hunt and spent a bit of time taking in the area. [?]
Bah.
Great spot, spent a good amount of time swimming with the kids in the nearby pools and admiring the aboriginal grinding grooves which are on the left near the top of the falls about 30m back.
But alas, no cache to be found. I reckon I knew where it was supposed to be, but I could not find it.

On such a hot day I deliberately dipped my feet & my hat, which had dried out after my hike back from Barrenstone. A great cache. Plenty of little flying insects trying to keep cool. Muggles about but they will never know your there! TNLN.
I said I would be back and I was today. Found it exactly where I thought it would be. TNLN. Thanks Greg.
well I suppose I'm can't be disappointed, again, something different from "the Rats".
Yes the water was coooold. the throbbing went from my feet to my the back of my head in about 55-65 secs.
thats the last time I wear thongs for protection against freezing cold rivers.
took stubbie holder (which I'm using now) and left a hand shaped reflector
thanks Rats

Finally got back to this one after searching for three quaters of an hour on march 18th with bigMickB and AB. The cache was missing then but now it is back chock a block full of goodies. The water was up and I am not tall so the chill almost reached my knees. Mrs Gribbly thought this was funny. The Gribblet was asleep.

We had the best day here last year on boxing day, canyon, BBQ plus more. I had to do the deed as Hoojar only had joggers, nice spot.
Took yellow golf ball, left space blanket.

Well I think now the smallest and largest cache I've visited have both been placed by the Rats. This one is big but I've read of a bigger one near Picton. I wasn't really ready for wet feet but it wasn't too cold. This is a favourite sopt of mine but I haven't been here much for a long time. I think I must have left a squishy lizard and took an SES key ring. Thanks guys.
This was our second trip to the Carrington, after spending a wet 30 minutes seaching for the cache last October... but this time it where it was supposed to be and definitely not there last time we looked. Took my first tavel bug and have to find out what to do with it. No swaps, great spot, easy access and my feet are dry. Thanks, The Rats
Called in to drop off Quagmire Karaoke travel bug
Picked up Camo Chameleon travel bug

Now this is what I call a cache. Even though it is a large container I still had trouble fitting in Cammo the TB.
Great spot. left TB and Koala took nothing.

Not that I take joy in anyone's cache going missing, but it's nice to know I wasn't going blind or mad a few weeks earlier! Found by AB and myself within seconds of our arrival and without even getting our feet wet. Thanks Rats for a top cache!
No problems today
thanks for the cache Maint/Visit Rats
took cd left owl fridge magnet.
once again thanks Rats

Lots of goodies in this one. Plenty of "muggles" around so we had to be rather stealth like. What a great hiding spot. Not a lot a walking required. Thanks a lot Rats.
Cache maintenance today. Had to replace the cache as it had disappeared. Sorry to all previous non finders. This cache is now back in action.
Looked in the obvious places with no luck
Left empty handed with wet feet, have to return later
Thanks Rat's

Three of us gave this a worthwhile shot this afternoon. We must've spent close to 3/4 of an hour wading around in the creek looking for this to no avail. I think we gave it a decent shot, but I could just be blind. It wouldn't be the first time. Thanks Rats.
A DNF here, I didn't have updated info for this one, didn't know there was two prior DNF's... Looked in the obvious placesbut also had limited time as we were travelling in convoy with others
Tried in vain to find this one. It was raining most of the time and we had our feet wet. Saw a few places to hide it but NO LUCK today! [:]
Tryed for about 5 minutes but the water was way to cold for my bare feet. Will be back with either gum boots or when it is warm enough to not get frost bite. Well hidden! At least the wife got a laugh watching me and her brother tip toeing through freezing cold water..

My wife and I found this today after looking at the waterfall. Was fun to be able to walk on water like that. I always enjoy a cache in an unusual place. Took Pelican TB and left stuffed dog. The container is a bit knocked about and contents a little damp.
Great spot to spend a couple of hours taking photos. Great spot for a cache - except of course if it's been raining for a couple of days - yep we got wet feet. easy find though. Took nothing - Left TB Piers Pelican (450646). Great spot for a Pelican - Cleanest water in australia with the best views
On our way home from a family reunion and thought it a good time to try and nab some more caches.
Our first & last find out of two attempts for the day (unable to locate 2nd Pt in There She Blow's).
Beautiful location, however don't think this cache would have been added to our completed list if we still had to abseil for it!!
No cars around....that is until we stopped at GZ and went to retreive the cache then the falls became muggle city!
Thanks to the Rats for another unreal cache.

We took a guess at where this was hidden and we were quickly rewarded with the find.
We conducted a little maintenance - emptied it of putrid water, discarded contents that didn't survive and attacked everything else with a chamois.
It was then time to continue with sight seeing and a very refreshing dip in blue pool.

Whoo Hoo I found it!
My first cache
As mentioned, a little damp inside so I let it all dry out for a bit. Great spot - Easy to find but also guarded by a long and well camoflagued snake. I missed it by about 20cm.
I took the stubby holder and left a tennis ball.
Thanks for a great first cache.

It was too nicer day to stay home and work so I decided to go for a bit of a drive and pick up a couple of caches this morning.
Being a nice warm day the water was quite pleasant and after about 10 minutes searching high and low (mostly high) I found the cache in the area that I'd first started searching. It was a bit damp and musty but okay apart from that. Took the ocky strap and left an AMP Olympic journey pin.
Thanks Dave!

Found with Jamss and geokiddies got cold feet.took pocket knife left frogs.thanx rats.
Cache 4 of 5 today found all so far. it's been along day so this was a nice easy one to get. the geochickys got there feet wet and cold. there was a lot of rain over the last few days so the water was flowing quite fast and strong, it also looks like it got all the way up to road level at the bridge.
Did this one with mini jamss in toe. Nice cache, nice spot, nice day ,pity about the cold water. Cache needs a silicone gel satchel to soak up the moisture.... TNLN
No wet feet for us either - for which we were thankful. Thanks for moving the cache, we would have had no hope in it's original location. TNLN. Greg and Bev
Took the wet feet option. The water was not too cold considering the time of year. The neirbourhood rats have been having a chew at the container but haven't got through yet. Thanks for making it more accessible. Took smiley stamp left ocky strap.
Yee-ha, a virgin find? Well, sort of – in its new location anyway! Must say, after looking at the previous posts / photos, I think we had it easy! Yes, the water is cold (and wet). But still, the cache is easily achievable without any special equipment (unless you call thongs special equipment)… We are thankful that you moved this cache! I have looked at it a number of times before, but alas, abseiling was not our speciality (haven’t done it in 15 years, and don’t have the equipment). Therefore, without the cache being moved, we would never have discovered this lovely spot!
Took mobile phone and fluffy SES thing, and left a Kombi keyring and a Light-up stamp.
Thanks ‘The Rats’ for the wonderful detour to the inlaws – ThomasS, SueS, MattS, and BiancaS.

Will now have to keep this one in mind next time we head down this way!

Yes! The mighty combined forces of Team Chaos and Alternate Route plundered the stash after getting to know the ropes.
High and dry one, SES Rats!
Took a mini-level, left chocky.

Braved the day with Capt Chaos. Even had an audience to watch my pathetic attempts at prussiking. Took some caramel buds and left a leatherperson.
[With the name Carrington one would expect to find some kind of scientific studies going on or at least a decent view of the sun.
To our surprise science is alive and well with some keen mind testing out that bloke Newton’s theory with eggs. We did hear a rumor that there are some feral chook’s in the area and maybe they have to lighten their load as they fly from one side to the other. Either way wear a helmet and take something to catch them with. That way if you miss them you wont have egg on your face.
Rescued Paws from the location as he may have been stuck there for a while and is now in the care of Geo Pup.
]
The cache setter might want to add a clue to finding this cache to help the environment.
