Hello Apsley, from a long-lost fellow Bathurst cacher. I hope all is well!Placed NOV2015 goodness that must be almost to the day when we last moved away (to Sweden!) so here I am, 9 days to the day later, to find this!Found this lovely cache, with its back story, relatively easily. As noted, no log inside, but alas Im not traveling with supplies! Could do with a new bison or similar if someone has one to donate!
#22347 @0740Visiting Bathurst for the weekend from Canberra. An early start to find some particular caches before joining the crowd to cache Mt Panorama. A quick find here. TFTC.
Chooo ooo [Found] on a caching invasion of Bathurst! Log signed CBI24!Thanks Apsley168!
Tankengine, Youban and I left Canberra just after lunchtime on Friday and drove straight to Bathurst. We had solved many of the puzzles or at least started the solves before coming. We were looking forward to finding many smilies this weekend and hanging out with our friends. We met up with our friends and signed caches as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024). The group included Fitzy_1965, Minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, GLISS!, Tankengine, Youban, Contesta, Domsky, TikvaNZ, Isopeada, Barb2e, and SmittenGranny. We had an awesome dinner at the Kelso Hotel Bistro Friday night. And attended the ever changing event on Saturday night at The Reckless Brewery Co. Breakfast was at a couple of cafes that were all good and lunches wherever we could find it. Our little cabin at the NRMA Paramount caravan park, where there was just enough space for all three of us (just). We slept ok, but the leaky taps needed attention. We had an awesome time and would love another chance to visit Bathurst again another day. This cache: A nice little hide. Something different. Tftc!!!
Fun creative find. Was in Bathurst for the weekend but didn't have much time so picked one geocahe to do based on favourite points. Container and log were dry so easy to get and sign. TFTC. Also solved the nearby pillars cache but the final spot was a bit far for our limited time.
Bathurst Invasion by a group of Canberran cachers. We are signing as CBI24 (Canberra Bathurst Invasion 24). There are barb2e, Kittykatch, Joolay, FurfacesLL, DTY73, Tankengine, Youban, SmittenGranny, Contesta, Gliss! Domsky, Fitzy_1965, Minniek, and me. We all have been solving the puzzles ove the last few weeks in preparation. Plan for today is to start with Mt Panorama. Afterwards barb2e and I went around town visiting or revisiting caches that peaked our interest. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Travelling with a group from Canberra as part of a small invasion of Bathurst caches. Caches signed as CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion 2024. Lots of fun solving the various puzzles and now looking forward to finding lots of caches. Tftc

Find # 124236/7/2024 18:29Caching adventures continue, plans were hatched, word got around, and with some trustee like-minded souls we assembled at the cemetery start line - KittyKatch, Joolay, fitzy_65, mimmiek, TikvaNZ, isopeda, dty73, FurfacesLL, domsky, Youvan, Barb2e, Tankengine. ?? Signing CBI24 for Canberra Bathurst Invasion ??Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun!All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks Apsley168 for A bi-product of an unfortunate pruning mistake ??
Today, a group from Canberra (and some from surrounding areas) are in Bathurst for the next in our Invasion series. We were last here 4 years ago, but there are plenty more caches these days. This years group includes barb2e, Isopeda, Youban, DTY, Tankengine, Kittykatch, Joolay, GLISS!, domskys, FurfacesLL, TikvaNZ, minniek, fitzy_1965, Contesta and myself. All caches found were signed as CBI24 standing for Canberra Invasion of Bathurst in 2024. We had quite a long list of caches that we hoped to find over the weekend, and it is pleasing to note that most of us found all on our own list for today except one that looks as if it has fallen victim to The Winter Festival. After collecting a few in town, the main group concentrated on Peel Reserve in the morning, while others, including me, Youban, and barb2e, followed our own agendas. Huge thanks to all cache owners for the great hides and puzzles that I encountered today. I had a thoroughly enjoyable day, which has left me somewhat weary, so please excuse the generic logs. This was one of the caches that I found and signed.
Found it after a quick look. Container very fragile and looks a bit worse for wear. Nevertheless a great hide in a fantastic place. Tftc
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying in Richmond we weren't sure where to go caching today. With lovely weather forecast we made the decision to drive towards Orange to collect some LGA's that we have not visited in our 10years travelling.Well we didn't hit the road till 10.30am and copped a mountain of roadworks before Lithgow. [xx(] We should have realised it was going to be a big ask. We kept pushing on. But we didn't return to our caravan till nearly 7.00pm and 430km later. TFTC Apsley168
#7763A wet week at home, and still a wet weekend in the Blue Mountains to come by the looks, we need to at least get out and do some caches! Decided to head down to this area and nab some of the newer unfounds nearby, mainly targetting D/T 3s and oldies, and whatever else nearby! end of copy paste Quick find, log damp. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache Apsley168
#7756Bad weather was forecast for today, and delivered as well. It was very ordinary in Leura, so decided to change our plans of some roadside hides down the mountain, and headed west for some specific caches for grids and challenges we're chipping away at. Wet and 10 degrees - a great day to be in the warm car most of the time!We checked the wrong ivy first before Samuel spotted the cache from a distance, on the other ivy...Thanks for the cache!
We were in Bathurst with Geoturtle37, Pappi4506 and The Drovers hoping to grab a few caches while the weather was still being kind. We were in this park to grab a part of an Adventure Lab but were not going to leave these two caches behind with out trying. We were not sure what to expect as we headed here but were amused by what we found. We very carefully got to the log boog and added our stamp before returning it as found. To save room in the log books we are signing as The Mob.Many thanks Apsley for making good a bad situation. Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
Day 5 of our Bathurst trip with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.Today spent the day caching around Bathurst. All puzzles were solved before the trip. This is one of the caches we stopped at. A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save time and space. Many thanks for placing this cache, Apsley168, for us and others to find.

I've just checked this and found the remnants on the ground.I'll have my little feathered friend see to a replacement in the near future.
i got very lucky here.on a morning stroll discovering the nearby adventure lab and history plaques in the park, i naturally wandered over to this cache.looked up and all around with no luck, stood back for a log read and some logs mentioned finding it on the ground.had another look, and that's exactly where i discovered the ziplock and logbook. very wet so i put it in the sun awhile to dry out. no idea where it's supposed to be, so have put it back in the hollow above head height. will need a look.thanks for showing me here with a geocache!
Find#5714Nice hiding place Ive the found the cache but only half the container and the logbook is dried What a nice road to Sydney and surrounds , we made it to Bathurst Thanks for the cache
Find number 600!!! Woohoo! Cool cache container. Unfortunately found the log on the ground. But still dry. Placed back in the container and moved on. TFTC!!
I checked on this yesterday and found the contents on the ground. I’ve put it back together so I hope future finders will handle it very carefully so that it lasts a bit longer.

I had previously tried to stop here and search for thyme one, but muggles prevented me from looking too suspicious lurking around the trees. This evening I returned with no one around, and soon spotted this one by the light of the torch. Nice little camo.

I’ve checked on this and found that the bird has flown and the log is missing.
I’ll see if I can get a little feathered creature to provide me with the means to replace it as it is meant to be.

Found on our second attempt tonight. Unfortunately the log container was open and the log is completely destroyed. I’ll log it as needs maintenance but if I get a chance I’ll go and replace it.
Thrilled to turn this into a smiley today. Lovely little creation right where it should be!
TFTC and also maintaining it Apsley168.

I Stayed at Bathurst for 3 nights and the weather is very freezing like as winter time. The flooding is high and Finding your cache Apsley168, thank you so much for placing it.
Found this on a day trip out to Bathurst riding on the back of my partners harley. Found this after a little while. Thanks for placing.
That was a merry romp. I went far too far down the bank with coords refusing to settle. Checked T rating and found it on my way back up.
A few days away in Orange, visits to wineries and some Geocaching. An ideal mix of activities for the Atalantas. On our way back we stopped in Bathurst and did some caching to stretch the legs.
This cache was second on our list and was quite a simple find.

Headed for coords and spotted 2 similar trees but had no luck with either of them. Looked up and even down on the ground just in case. Hoping it’s still there but that we were outwitted today, and will return again soon.
The GPS is out by about 6m but I could see it without going past the barrier. Muggles around. TFTC.
Found after work at dusk, still quite a few dog walkers around, but easy enough to let them pass. Once at GZ the hint meant there were only a few places to look. Cool idea - thought at first the log was missing but after a search of the surrounds it was quickly in hand. TFTC.
beautiful park....hungry critters have made there mark on the cache and log. love the idea but needs to be maintained. thanks
Found the cache house first…..very neat, but no container or log. A further search turned up the log on the ground, somewhat soggy and damaged. Able to sign and return to its house but needs a new container to keep the log dry. TFTC
Description make sense now, literally got there to a magpie pulling apart the cahe! Put it back together and back in its home. TFTC!
A very creative hide. The compass led me straight there and a helpful hint had me finding it before too long. TFTC

Out caching with goingplaces2 while in town. Found this cache while on our tour today. TFTC.
The item of interest was swinging in the breeze, so after signing the log I placed it back where it belongs, thanks.

#7200 Last day of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are heading home, leaving Bathurst and heading down south via the AL on Mt Panaorama. Warm clear conditions again today, unlike north of the border
I liked this one. Very nice work.
Thanks Apsley168
