Due to the Start of a New Apprenticeship and a full time job, and other miss "haps" with other organisation's, I have been struggling to find the time to get out and replace the cache in the "few Weeks" that i mentioned.
Sorry for the Inconvenience,
GingeGiraffe.
P.s I will find a New Cache and Log and updated more often.

Came here and the container was out in the open and the log book is gone. Very sad
Due to some recent wet weather conditions, and potentially muggle interactions.
The hottest day ever I think that we have headed out caching - even the bison tubes were piping hot We tried to choose the cooler parts of the day but it did not quite work. This was one we were able to find. Thanks to GingerGiraffe for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
#4393- After a successful swoop on the new caches in the Fairfield area, I still had some time before I had to pick up my son from work. Since I met the CO at the GIFF last week and asked him about this one and he kindly checked and replaced it I thought I’d check it out on my way back. Since it is a Sunday, it was dead quiet, no muggles or those pesky school kids (Ha, ha...) to bother me...A nice, quick one with spot on co- ords. Signed first spot on a new log. Thanks Ginger Giraffe
Yay! My first cache! Was pretty easy to find, located after a few mins super lush greenery in the area as there's recently been lots of rain

I am literally working aroma no the corner at the moment and saw this cache on the way.
This was a quick park and grab. I don't think these types of containers make for very good caches as they are not water tight.
The log was a bit damp.

Up the Hume today and decided to drive around Sydney and cache. Beat some boredom before starting nightshifts tonight. Found only a dozen caches today but with the rain and traffic I decided enough was enough and continue caching on the way home.
Also visited a large number of trackables onboard today that Will be on their way to the Alice Springs mega event in Easter when we set off in a few weeks.

Found this cache quickly, because after checking the obvious and finding nothing, it was noticed lying on the ground. The lid is split, the log is wet due to it being a wet day and it really needs some TLC. When signing duties had been completed it, was put back where we thought it may have been placed originally, but the CO might want to check on that. Thanks to GingerGiraffe for the cache placement.
A nice quick find, easy parking and no muggles on a Sunday morning.
First challenge for today's caching achieved - kept my mini streak going, now it almost doesn't matter if I don't make another find.
I'm really impressed, GingerGiraffe that you have placed this cache to honour your school life, friendships, fun, achievements and the hard working staff you have acknowledged. You often hear criticisms but rarely does anyone praise their school life as openly as this. Good on you!
Of course I could not go onto the grounds but looking at google maps this looks like a very extensive campus.
Thanks for your cache, I enjoyed it and will award you a favourite point for your words.

With the school holidays on, thought it might be a good chance to pick this one up. A quick and easy find
Great day out for caching with Jackjay1 & skyejam - enjoyed in The Ponds/Quakers Hill area. Thanks for bringing us here
I set out to find a few in Blacktown to fill a vacancy in my find calendar and ended up travelling west through Acacia Gardens and Quakers Hill for 10 finds and 3 DNFs.
This unfortunately was one of my 3 DNFs. There were naked trees (deciduous) and modest trees (evergreens). The signal had me amongst the naked variety with nothing to find. I widened my search to the modest type but still had no success.

This is my second find in Sydney and we are night caching atm. Was a little difficult but didn't give up. Tftc
A quick find while taking a bit of a caching detour through Acacia Gardens and Quakers Hill on the way from the Central Coast to Windsor. Most of the paint camo has come off the container, so it's visible from some distance away. The log is, however, in surprisingly good condition given all the rain we've had recently and the fact that the container isn't watertight. Thanks for the smiley GingerGiraffe.
With relatives living nearby (including one who attended the school for a short time), as soon as I saw this new hide, knew the area and exactly where to park off the busy road. Circled GZ as indicated by the arrow and spotted cache before the circuit was complete.
So While i was Away the Log got Drenched.
I Went out to day to Replace the Log and i Put it in a Zip Lock bag so this should solve the Problem.
Thanks for letting me Know.
Cheers

This was the only find for today. I didn't feel like a long trip to find my daily cache so I chose this one close to home. I parked opposite the school and walked across, fortunate to be searching whilst the rain had significantly eased. I was searching for awhile and embarrassingly, took longer than it should have - blame the app and me feeling tired. When I eventually found the cache, I also found a soggy log but surprisingly, I was able to sign it. However, this log should be replaced with write-in-the-rain paper if we get anymore heavy rain. SL. TFTC.

Managed to get this one just after midnight this morning. Took a few minutes looking around in the dark, but managed to find it. I couldn't sign however, as the log was drenched unfortunately. TFTC.

I was looking for a quick drove by cache to grab in the rain. What luck that I got a sun ray in my eye!
Those kinder surprise containers are not at all water proof. The log is nice and soggy inside. I suggest getting your chocolate fix with a different product.
Thanks for the cache.

Found it today after work with snoopy1976. Log is very wet but was still able to sign
#2570 (2 of 3 today) (Streak day 233)
Day four of the cricket test and again no play, and so I headed north for a cache or two to Rouse Hill. Lovely day for it again, so passed on a few caches requiring going through wet foliage.
But still managed to nab three.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Meandered to here, for a quick find in the rain.
The container is not, unfortunately, waterproof. The log was quite soggy and tore as I tried unfolding it.
Dried it in The Hademobile as best I could and scrawled on it.
This needs a small ziplock bag, and I didn't have one with me, so the log will get wet again if the rain persists.

Streak Day #909 - Met up with dave8153 for this one, by the time i had got there the rain turned to drizzle made a quick find and SL, log was a little damp but could still write our names on it. Afterwards we grabbed a slurpee as a victory drink for streaks staying alive lol. TFTC
First find back in Oz after a trip to Ireland. I vaccinate in this school during term time, but reckoned this would be easier during holidays. Log soaked unable to sign, will need replaced. TFTC
Found with Coybear2000. It was raining, so we wanted a quick find. While my GPS was in a tailspin, C zeroed in on GZ and soon had CIH. TFTC
Nice quick find on a Sunday evening - congratulations on graduating year 10, good luck with your future and thanks for doing these local hides. SL #2383 on streak day #1277 TFTC
Needed a find for the day to fill in the calendar day # 2.
Was getting fuel anyway (102.3 cents per litre for 91 unleaded!), so wandered over here afterwards.
There are a few places here matching the description but only a couple worthy of this hide. Quick find in the end.
Thanks for another local hide GG

After reaching GZ just before sunset, I thought I'd be doomed in the quickly fading light. After systematically eliminating all obvious possibilities, I then changed my aspect a bit and the little container was staring me right in the face. Definitely no fishing line to be found. First cache of the year, woohoo! TFTC GG.
30/12/15. 5:41 PM. Cache #3337. Streak day #556.
3rd of 3 caches - Merrylands West, St Marys, Quakers Hill.
One more cache for today; came here after finding "Buses???". With the description mentioning the CO's concerns about this one washing away, I thought that this could only be hidden at one particular elevation, so focussed on that for at least 10 minutes.
Each tree had its own hidey hole next door...but no caches could I spot. It was only when I was moving around and adjusted my height perception that I laid eyes on it....Ohhhh, there you are! As TC mentions, no sign of any fishing line. Time to head home. TFTC.

FTF @ 5:14pm, had hired a steam cleaner and was in the process of moving furniture and cleaning carpet/upholstery items within.
Wow, what a relief, email pings and cache up for grabs. Oh hun, I'm just ducking out for a ftf. How long, she asks. I always ask the kids but they are set in, playing computer games, or re-organising their rooms after the dad cyclone carpet clean.
Cheers for the FTF GingerGiraffe, nice hide and camoed well. Hope the log stays dry, but all good.

Congrats MC.
I'd normally race in for a FTF this close to home, but am 163km away from home! Enjoying Port Stephens.

The geofamily and I were at the Lindt Chocolate factory outlet and I got the notification of this new Published cache. Ummmmmm. I say hurry up family, there's a new cache to be found. OH dad you just have to wait, they say. Well there goes FTF. WE drive around 15 minutes later top find that MC had beat us be 10 minutes forFTF. I'll take 2nd TF. As for the cache, Thanks Jades for placing a cache here.
