Dagje Makay, Eungella NP en Cape Hillsbourough. Deze cache gezocht, maar niet gevonden.
Unfortunately didn’t find anything, accept for the 3 dogs of the nice lady who lives down the road
09/10/22 Has a good search and thought was going to be a DNF. Widened the search away from the sign and made the find. Tftc sl
this too us a little while to find as we though it was on the sign, but looked further and made the find, thanks for the challenge
Mrs Herbz failed miserably in finding this cache so Mr Herbz joined in the search, turned around and found it. Nice views but Eileen wasn't here today. TFTC
Couple of dnf. It doesnt say it's on the sign! We did a maintenance, putting a new container . We sent photo to CO.
We have returned to Eungella NP after 12 years.
We want to see the changes, refresh memories and get some smilies.

The geo-mobile has been locked up in the workshop for a few days because it has intermittent brake lights. Today we were offered a lift by Rainforest Cookie so we spent a fruitful day with her and TMack61 caching around the Crediton Loop and of course any other caches we happened to pass on our journey.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache pretty close to where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container has no lid, that and log are totally infested with ants
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Come on Eileen alright! Great night find in the middle of winter in the mountains. Log needs replacing, bit moist. Nice easy find in one of the most scenic places in Queensland. Tftc.

Das kleine Döschen am Wegesrand konnte ich rasch und unauffällig finden und mich ungestört in das Logbuch eintragen. TFTC!

Ninth day in Australia.
Today we drove from Mackay to Airlie Beach, with a "slight" detour to Eungella and Broken River, mainly to see Perry the Platypus and his mates.
On our way back from the Platypus, we stopped here and had a quick find.

Stopping at Finch Hatton and enjoying the sunshine we drove up to enjoy the magnificent views. Stopped at the chalet for coffee and cake , looked unsuccessfully for a platypus and found and signed your cache. Thanks.
Great caches around Eungella which we thoroughly enjoyed. This one was fun to find but getting rid of the tune took much longer. TFTC
We came all the way from Germany to pick up our son, who spent the last six month in the Noosa area as an exchange student, and discover this beautiful country. Obviously, a beautiful Country also has some very cool geocaches....
now that was a nice one! What a beautiful landscape and view!
Thanks for the Cache from Mojolucani

Found on my last day in the area. Before I left the region I wanted to take a drive up river from my camp at the Finch Hatton show grounds. I also picked up a few smileys on the way. TFTC

Nice part of the world here. Look out for all the cobblers pegs when hunting for this cache. They take ages to pluck out of your clothes.
I was very lucky to have the opportunty to visit your country in October and November. In that period I was able to visit/find you, which made me more happy.
Thanks for maintaining this cache and showing me the nice spot in your beautiful country.

Easy find. Lots of "farmer's friends" though. Not sure of botanical name. Logging this 6 days late as I forgot it was saved as an offline log. TFTC
Sunny day why not come up here. Pulled up next to it. Quickly sighted but gee those prickle things are a nuisance.
visited cache today and replaced the bag log was dry and still had plenty of space for signing funny not many signatures for people logging the find?
Hi there modro1 - this cache was a quick find for us on a day of touring while staying in Mirani. We had decided on a day out to Eungella and Broken River (what a wonderful place). The cache and log is in good condition - SL. This is our find #4847 - thanks to modro1 for this cache.
Found at 11:20 AM GAFF1in the company of Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder.
It's a Dixies Midnight Runners song - great song!
There was one of those workers who control the traffic just nearby and he was very curious as to why we stopped so near his station. After a while he had some directing to do, so he ignored us fiddling around the sign.
Thanks modro1.

On our four week tripp through Australia hansmahans ans myself found a lot of caches together. This was one of them. He wrote a bit more and sent answers if necessary. Thanks to all cache owners on our way
After a morning drive to broken river we had two DNFs before luckily seeing a small platybus there. On our way back Tumbalalaika stopped here for us to sign the logbook. Thanks for the hide here.
Drive today from our base at Dolphin Heads to Eungella, caching as we go. Found on our way up Found at 12.00 midday. Replaced ant ridden cache as ants had taken up residence and made a mess of the log book. So there is now a new container and log book.
Quick'n easy Drive-Trough found on Tour with Lamm_Bada.
Merry Christmas from Germany
Vielen Dank fürs Ausdenken, Legen, Hegen und Pflegen und natürlich ein dickes

Having lived in the area for many many years we no the perils of hill living. Many a cow has come to grief on these hills. Amazingly we never had one called Eilean.
In the area to visit with friend it was finally time to grab this one. Easy find.

Oh how clever are some people, CO included, with their cache names.

Interesting story behind the name of this one - sounds a bit like a Dad joke, lol. There were dozens of ants in and around this hide and they got into everything. TFTC
Staying in the mountains for a couple of days. Located quickly.
