Did the hard yards for this one last time I was in Georgetown only to find that not all the WP are in the town. So had to wait until today for our planned trip to Low Head to visit the last WP. There are 2 contradictory dates for the church, the first date I found didnt suit the questions so then tried to locate another date. After that got a smile on the checker. Off to GZ for a quick find. This is one of those multis that not many will find the time to do due to the number of WP so was glad to find the final today. TFTC
frmen1 and I arrived in the area yesterday and got all but one of the clues then. Grabbed the last whilst exploring Low Head and made the find quite quickly. A lovely way to point out George Town. We don't normally do multis/puzzles with so many components, but they were very easy. TFTC
Enjoyable tour of Georgetown, had a little trouble with the last WP as there were a huge gtoup of muggles on both side of the road near the church but managed to aquire the date by a process of elimination. Checker agreed with gz and soon had cache in hand. We replaced the log sheet with a dry sheet. Tftc
Caching around this area of Tasmania today while on holidays.
We traveled around and exploring Georgetown via all the wp's.
Lots of interesting locations, we enjoyed reading about the history and seeing some of the old buildings.
After the final wp was done we needed to do the calculations a few times before we came up with a viable set of co-ords.
We made our way to the calculated GZ and easily found the container.
TFTC Grumbligrot and for the tour around the area.

I don't know what happened some time ago I remember doing the circuit to all the points on this journey but for some reason I didn't finish the job to locate the cache. today i redid the interesting journey and then located the cache. In view of the hide I don't know how the log became wet but it was quite damp. I managed to get my name n it but would recommend that it be replaced. Thank you Grumbligrot for a very interesting journey.
Day 2 of our Tasmanian Odyssey… Having attended Grumbligrot’s Celebration Event in Georgetown, I got the low down on a couple of local caches and this was one of them…
It looked like it needed some love… knowing I was short of time, with quite the list, the CO took pity on me and described a location that could warrant further investigation… and I knew exactly where that was as I had only driven past it earlier today…
So back to what is now very familiar territory and I made a quick find while reading about more historic sights…
If I was reading the log correctly, the cache had only been found a couple of days ago but is yet to be logged online… oh well…
Tftc… and the use of your jet ski!

Here with my partner dalerious who signed this multi back in Jan '21.
I too love this town. I visited the museum the first time here to buy a tiny book about a cat named Trim. He was Matthew Flinders cat, and Trim circumnavigated the world with him. Matthew Flinders is my hero; now I have another hero, my partner .
I loved this multi and revisiting this town. Thank you for the memories Grumbligrot.
We had this trip to Tasmania on our wish list very soon after we met. The meticulous planning began a few months ago when we finally set a date to sail to a place that I had been before, but never cached, and for dalerious, a place he cached, but never really got to see the real beauty of this place, and all it's glory. God's country about sums it up.
We started our adventure in the North West and traversed the entire Island in 10 days. We thought the weather was going to thwart our plans, but all it did was change the itinerary a tad.
Where back home was flooding, we had mostly sunshine here; apart from the North of your lovely state, and our thoughts were with those who were affected both here and at home.
Caches here took us to extraordinary places; one's we will never forget.
We also got to meet some cachers; we can't wait to meet the rest .

Thanks Grumbligrot for the tour around your town.
We are really looking forward to catching up again at the upcoming event.

Thankyou Grubligrot.
Muggle Hubby, dalerious and I enjoyed our journey around this lovely town.
I was sure I’d done this one last time I was here but must not have logged it.
Correcting that anomaly today has been fun, redoing the tour with dalerious.

Loved this historic journey around my home town! Log is wet but thank you for this find
I really enjoyed the journey around George Town, one of my favourites. Thanks
A great little journey around Georgetown collecting caches and details to finish this one. A great multi which is so well maintained. Thank you Grumbligrot, we will return to complete your other multi another day! This one is well deserving of a favourite point from us.
Unfortunately the logbook is wet on this one.

Great trip through George town. Got the co-ordinates and went to GZ and found. TFTC!
Today was spent pottering around the Tamar valley, visiting some interesting little places and grabbing a few targeted caches along the way. The weather was fantastic after quite a bit of rain overnight. I’m glad I wasn’t in the swag!
I gathered the required information around Georgetown late yesterday and this morning before heading up to Low Head to visit the remaining waypoint (and visit a few other caches). The cache was a quick find, but not at all where I was initially expecting it to be.
Thanks Grumbligrot for the cache.

Out with mum to do some caching for the day around Weymouth and Georgetown area. Solved this one last night online and Mande the quick find today TFTC
Thanks for this great multi-cache Grumbligrot. Spent a lovely morning walking the GeoGSP between waypoints and collecting all the required information before travelling to the last waypoint and GZ. Further information collecting and we were soon at GZ with the cache in hand. Cheers. I do love a good multi so this one earns a favourite point from me.
Out and about with Lil Rafa to get caches for the Hidden Creatures series, all the way to Low Head, we found, signed and replaced the cache, completing the find. TFTC TNLN log dry, cool nights but nice days. came back to this place again to find final GZ still a lovely place. easy find with clues.

We visited the various waypoints around George Town and collected the required information to calculate GZ. Quick search located the container. Nice challenge. TFTC
Collected the answers for this multi earlier in the week and finally got around to finding the cache today.
A favourite point from us, thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

On me bike rides over the last few days,
I had visited all the waypoints to collect the clues
But something was obviously wrong with one of me numbers [:o]
Using the numbers still resulted in a likely cache hiding place
To fix the calculations there could only be two possible answers,
and the 'Inter-web' provided the correct one [^]
Today I headed back out north of Georgetown,
for a quick find of this cache
There seems to be some sort of flag flying competition going on around here.
Every house has a flagpole or two,
and each day they fly a different flag !!
Yesterday it was Argentina, Australia, and one I didn't recognise.
Today it was Indonesia, the RAN ensign and a yellow flag with red lion on it
And a Phillipines flag too boot
A few other flags were fluttering nearby too !!

Hi there Grumbligrot.
We found your cache **"Journey around George Town"** at 12:30:00 PM today. (This brings our total find count to 18648).
We are currently staying at East Beach Caravan Park. The family has gone back to Launceston (& work) so we can concentrate on geocaching between relaxing - or is it relaxing between geocaches?
Today was a great opportunity to attempt some caches around Georgetown (and back to Low Head). We started to walk around the waypoints, but quickly decided that it was far easier to drive around them - just as well as the distance between the last two was further than Penny would/could have walked.
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey today & had an absolutely wonderful drive. Our count for the day was 5 finds (& 0 DNF's).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache almost exactly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

We really enjoyed this mega-multi tour around the historic houses of George Town. Some really impressive historical buildings here. The pub looked like a nice spot for dinner too. After collecting the info and some mathematical manipulations, we arrived at GZ which in itself was a clever full-stop on the tour. Thanks Grumbli's for another great multi. A favourite point from us.
Nice cache around town. We were staying right near the last waypoint so finished it off for the night.

Out and about in George Town/Low Head today to collect lots of caches published since our last visit and this was one we found. A good way to visit the local history spots. Enjoyed the tour, deserves a favourite. TFTM
We have visited the wonderfully scenic and historic George Town a couple of times before this visit when aus was researching her family history. We had already seen all the buildings but we now had the added interest of getting the info for this very enjoyable multi. This one is now on our favourites list. Thanks Grumbligrot.
Logging this one nearly a month after we found it. Didn't realise we had forgot to do so at the time.
An enjoyable multi that got us looking at some of the interesting places around the town.
Thanks.

A gorgeous day to be out and about with Astro who's visiting from SA, and a perfect chance to pick up a heap I'd not managed to collect yet.
Many thanks Grumbligrot from the Wacky one

Just loved this one. Once I had the clues the find was really appreciated. I continued along the way and found the area fascinating. This one added to my knowledge of the area - so much to see here. I spent a day poking around so was glad there was a few decent caches.
Thanks to Grumbligrot and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

Tftc I always worry I may have made a Mathematical error but I did not in this one. A great journey.
Thanks for this great cache. Really enjoyed it and appreciate the effort you put into it.
Great multi. Being a local i knew where all the waypoints where, with Christ Church last on the list, soon found the cache. TFTC
Finally found after much puzzlement and head scratching tftc really enjoyed the journey around George Town
I did all the information hunting last night before checking into my accommodation. This morning the cache retrieval was quick and easy.
Travelling around George Town on the way through to Low Head. Stopped by the required spots to gather the clues for this multi. Thanks for showing me a few of the hidden away historic bits of GT..!!
Found and signed Mr fnsaw and I split up this morning. I dropped him at Bellbouy Beach to do the five caches along a five km beach walk. So I decided I wasn't leaving town with one of Grumbligot's multi's not done, which would have left one green marker in town! So for the first time ever I headed off on my own and thoroughly enjoyed the whole series! All were easy and straightforward and thankfully the last one was easy for me to retrieve too. We've had so much fun in George Town thanks to the CO's and really appreciate that. And special thanks to grumbli for the event thanks for all the caches fav point given for this one too
OK guv, we'll come clean. You've got us bang to rights. We'll admit we did do this just a tad skewiff. As with Grumbli's puzzle series we just love to do things the hard way backwards, & here we probably made it even harder for ourselves as considerable time was spent sorting out our numbers. Stopped by our maybe possibly but not real sure final to discover all was sorted correctly. In fact it proved to be a known Grumbli hide from a swapsies exercise we'd done some time ago. In hindsight though, the "yellow pages" route was probably not as enjoyable as the intended so it was our loss, but still a smiley. Thanks for the fun Grumbli.
Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
In Low Head again to attend the Leap Day event. Today we had a late start then set about trying to find all our unfound caches in Low Head and George Town.
Rather overcast but the rain stayed away.
Enjoyed driving around town collecting the info. Managed to do some backtracking and revisiting places that we had already visited.

Today we travelled to George Town to attend the leap day event arriving at 12.00 noon to allow us to find caches published since our last visit. We had 27 on our list including the event. We managed to find them all and enjoyed the variety of hides and our tour of George Town. Excellent Multi easy to follow.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A very well conceived multi. Had thought we would do it over 2 days but gradually picked up all of the info in the town and elsewhere as we aimed for other caches. Grateful we left one of them until last as it was appropriately located for the final. Final GZ in a most appropriate location.
A favourite from us (something we rarely do for multis).

Beautiful evening for a tour around Georgetown. Thoroughly enjoyed this cache and some learning some history and seeing some amazing old buildings along the way. A very well thought out and planned multi, very accurate coordinates and the view from the GZ at the end made it a very worth while and enjoyable cache. Earns a big fav point and thumbs up from me.

Despite groups of people gathering in the centre of the town for an afternoon musical enjoyment, we were able to visit the six locations in town and the one further north and collect the required information without any problems. It also gave us an interesting tour of parts of George Town. With the data collected and final coordinates calculated, the combination of accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Grumbligrot for the cache and the tour of George Town.
We arrived in Georgetown last night and noticed this multi was recently published and unfound. I would have liked to have looked for it then but we were all tired.
This morning after breakfast we started it and worked our way around town double checking all our numbers as we enjoyed the history and icons of Georgetown. We then drove out to the last waypoint where we did our calculations to work out the final coordinates.
Off in the car we went to gz. In the excitement I transposed two numbers which we knew was not the correct location when we arrived. A smart egg found it as I was fixing my error.....we were pretty close anyway.
We really enjoy a good multi and this certainly didn't disappoint. A favourite point from us for this one. The best part for us was {FTF} at 9.41am. TFTC
